Is there an easy way to add other materials (like AL-7075) to the defaults the educational version of Creo provides?   We're hoping to get into Simulate this year so we need to make sure we have the right properties set.

I've seen tutorials for creating cycloidal or epicycloidal using SolidWorks & Blender. Can anyone tell me where to find a tutorial or instructions on how to do this with CREO 2.0?

   Hello everyone,      I  use  an AutoRefresh widget and a  custom service （The service just accumulates and return a number,  the resulting number is  bind to the ScrollTop attribute ）to make the page(grid widget) scroll down every  ten seconds, everything is OK, but I wanna do some action  when the page(grid widget) has scrolled to the bottom (can't scroll down anymore ). I don't know how to make the service know the page(grid widget) has scrolled to the bottom.         if anyone have some idea, please help me, thanks.

I was going to post this in the other discussion, but it was getting pretty long and convoluted. I have two questions about the new Windchill installation:(1) Some of the error messages seem to be missing. I'm getting plenty of errors (mostly my fault, of course) but when I go to the event manager, the message field is blank. Cryptic as they are, they can be useful. Is this a "yet to come" feature?(2) Do/will FIRST teams have access to the Design Exploration (DEX) functionality? I've been hoping that the reason we couldn't have it is that our Windchill was old...Thanks,Noa

Hi,I have created a State definition with 3 values for a Radio Button and set a Default State as one of these 3 values. But at Runtime its not defaulting to that selected value.Am I missing any step?Steps followed:-1. Created a custom state definition with 3 values as : On, Off, NotSet2. Mentioned Default State as : NotSet2. Selected above created definition in Radio button's State definition in Mashup and Save.4. View Mashup --> Radio Button loading with "Off" as default selection.what went wrong?

dear friends;we are using creo 3 for cam programming , in roughing program although I mentioned ramp angle as 5 degree /less than 90 , cutter directly plunging on the material with out taking any ramp, does any one know the reason ? I am using volume and window .

Hello Everyone  ，  I  need to create a web page ( Mashup )  , it contains a grid widget  which source is more than 1000 items , I wanna set very page teen items . End users can set  how long the page auto scroll to the next page on   the mashup ， and when all the items are been shown (The last Page) ,  the web page auto  redirect to  other webpage .In the traditional way of page development , we can use javasrcipt timer to Implement it ,  but  in  Tingworx , who can help me to implement  it  , appreciate any help  , Thanks  . How are other teams organizing their parts within Windchill?   Right now we have all of our parts in the CAD Models folder, but after 3 years of doing this that's getting to be a long list.  Are other teams using a folder structure?   Any good or bad with that?  Any issues with leaving them all in one folder as we've done?   It is simpler, but does seem to take longer to load a list of parts now.If people do use folders, then is there a good way to move parts around within Windchill?Rande JohnsonFRC 4931 Mentor

Whenever I try to use the link from the installation guide for the Creo Parametric 3.0 or 2.0 it says 404 server failed and it doesn't let me download the file. What can I do to get the creo software for a student?

I'm just starting to play with Mathcad and I'm curious if there is any built-in intellisense or some type of input assistance that would help the user input previously defined variables.  For example: if I create a variable LtRailHt:=1, later on in the worksheet I would like to just start typing ltr... and see a dynamic assistance list as I type that helps me find those variables (regardless of the upper/lower case) - then TAB to insert it.Currently, if I don't remember the variable I want to use - exactly as typed - I will have to go back and find it.  On a large worksheet with numerous variables being defined, this is a big drawback (in my opinion).  It seems most other programming interfaces I use nowadays have some sort of assistance while you type.  Hopefully, I just need to enable something in Mathcad to make it show.Thanks for any help.

Our service department recently was searching for a vehicle VIN number in Windchill.  Lets say the VIN was 1HTGPSNR4HH542122 (an attribute, not name or number field), when this VIN was entered it returned nothing...what we found was that someone replaced the leading 1 with an I.  No biggy, was fixed immediately. BUT we realized a searching short coming.  The user tried leading ** to try and find the number, but couldn't. He searched:*HTGPSNR4HH542122**TGPSNR4HH542122With no return.  Is there anyway to search and attribute with leading wildcards?Thanks,Greg 

I am trying to get the following to work in my application.The issue I am having is that the ® is being converted to %AE in the URL then the mashup fails to load because there isn't a mashup with the name Reflector%AEIs there a way to actually make this work as I am hoping?If I manually edit the browser and convert the %AE back to ® the mashup loads correctly.

I know that the AND operator can just be used with caps and spaces (e.g. Electronics AND circuit), however the same syntax for OR is not working.  How do you search something like this:Electronics AND circuit OR boardI know WC 11 can probably do this much easier, but I am asking for 10.1 because that is what we are on now and will be for a while.

What does the dollar ($) symbol mean in configuration editor? I'm assuming it's shortening the address, but how would you view the entire address if this is the case.Thanks!

We have the Product context called Machine as the top level. I found where the person who set up the system had created a ACEMP Product template for the Machine product. We are now moving the design forward and to keep designs separate, we want to create a context named NexGen.I go to the product top level, hit the Create new product icon, give it a name and then select the ACEMP Product template. When I hit OK, the system comes back with a pop=up window saying it cannot find the ACEMP Product template. I have found the template and looked at it. Everything is built from the /default structure, so this template should work on any new Product context.The original ACEMP Product template was built at Windchill 8 and I am now running Windchill 10.0 m040. Does this make a difference? Being stored in Oracle, I would have thought it would have been updated by the update process.If anyone has any ideas of what I need to do, let me know. Is it possible to take presentation template from one system to another like we have created a presentation template on one system and we want to use that as it is on another system. Is there any way to do this??
