I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.5.0Creo Parametric 11.0.5 appears to have a horrible memory leak. Is this a known issue? SI anyone else seeing this?

Good evening,I just wanted to download the student version of Creo 10, this also worked at the beginning. But now I have the trail version and not like my classmates the student version. Can I upgrade this in Creo or do I have to download creo again? If so, what do I have to do differently to not download the trail version. With kind regards

A user recently got a new computer with Creo 11.0.3.0. They noticed that their "shortcut" to Pro/Library was missing on left hand side of the Creo Browser underneath Common Folders. We looked into their config.pro and saw no issues. The pro_library_dir was even defined as it is on all other users' computers also running Creo 11.0.3.0. I even changed the setting on the config.sup file on their computer and that failed to make the Pro/Library shortcut show up. Has anyone else ran across this issue and what steps would you take to make the shortcut show up?Below is a picture of how it shows on my Creo Browser.  

I have a failed upgrade of CREO Parametric, 11.0.4.0 to 11.0.6.0, that I am struggling with. The error message is ERROR: Unable To Launch Application Because No Valid Configuration File (*.psf) Files Were Found. Articles from the Knowledgebase state to run "reconfigure.exe" from the C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 11.0.6.0\Parametric\bin folder, but the only "reconfigure.exe" that exists is in the C:\Program Files\PTC\FLEXnet Admin License Server\bin folder and does nothing but see the available license server when run. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

I frequently find one or more of these processes consuming 100% of a core each. While I do have a plurality of cores, I do not particularly fancy using them for power-consuming bugs. It seems they are Chrome related, and that IE is no longer supported. So what can I do about it, except killing the processes when I find them surging? Windows 10 22H2, Creo 11.0.5.0, Threadripper Pro. Airgapped, no PDM.

We are currently running Creo 12.4.1.0 and we are seeing some odd behavior that I am trying to resolve. When performing certain (seeming unrelated) actions like opening the File-options window or adding a new view in a drawing there is a 10-15 second delay where Creo freezes before performing the requested task. The issue is consistent in that it occurs on the same handful of tasks but oddly not every time we perform them. We saw this same behavior in Creo 4.0 before our upgrade which leads me to believe it is caused by an external factor. My current theory is that our antivirus software (Checkpoint) is checking or scanning some Creo related file or service causing the delay. Has anyone else seen this type of behavior and if so how did you resolve it? If it is the antivirus software, is there a recommended file or service whitelist?

Hi All,In one of our machines, we installed Creo 12 with a Node locked license. Generated the license based on the host ID shown in the Creo installer. Creo runs perfectly. After a few days, it stops with the error (-9) invalid host ID. When we check, the previous host ID is no longer shown. It shows a whole different Host ID. Any assistance would help. If not, we may have to escalate to PTC.Regards.

Is it possible to download old PTC software during Sustained Support? Unable to find old datecodes of expired PTC products on Software Download web page. Is it possible to download installation files for products which are expired and no longer part of Standard Support policy?

I have been trying to find an answer to this question but nothing I have tried so far works. I have an issue where I can not pull the Windchill browser window to the front above all of the other Creo windows. I'm currently using Creo 7.0.8 and this is happening to all users who are currently running Windows 11 (but now Windows 10). There doesn't seem to be any way at all to move it to the front so we have to resort to moving all Creo windows to one monitor and the Windchill browser to another monitor. I suspect that this has something to do with the Windows 11 window manager but even the settings that appear to fix other applications do not fix this issue in Creo. Anyone have an idea what I can try?

We are looking at installing ITI's CADIQ and I was wondering if anyone in the PTC Creo community is already running it and can give us some information. What we are wondering is how it compares to ModelCheck in functionality and quality of the analysis.  ITI has told us that it is an external program, so files need to be saved to disk before running through CADIQ, which is a drawback when we have all of  our data in Windchill.   Love to hear experiences from those that have evaluated or are using CADIQ. Hello PTC Community, I'm experiencing an issue on some computers where the Creo 11 embedded browser is not functioning correctly. For certain web pages (stored in the hard drive), the browser displays a completely blank white page. I am looking at updating our old start parts that have Pro/Intralink parameters in them which are useless now that we are in Windchill. I read the steps in Article - CS105842 - How to modify or remove Windchill Parameters in Creo Parametric but the parameters are still locked when I open the files in Creo. Any suggestions on how to get clean start parts. I have thought of creating new ones, but we have a lot of parameters that would need added. I saw an article that said ModelCheck can delete unwanted parameters, but it did not address the issue of locked parameters. Will ModelCheck remove locked parameters? Creo 10.0.4.0 and Windchill  13.0.2.0  

We have a number of users encountering an issue on startup. Whenever we turn on a PC and open an instance of Creo 11.0.4.0, we get an error with the heading "License Warning" and the message "License request failed for feature".  (see attached image) Our current workaround is going to Windows Services and restarting "lmadmin_ptc". This has to be done every time after a computer is restarted or shut down. I've tried reconfiguring the licenses and reinstalling the license server, but haven't found a fix for this. It's not the end of the world, but it would be nice to not have this extra step every time we run Creo after a shutdown.

Just got a new laptop, Dell Precision 7770 w/ an Nvidia RTX A4500 laptop GPU.  I'm having some graphics issues and want to revert back to the PTC certified drivers for this platform for testing.  I'm currently on version 581.15 video drivers but I need to get back to 511.79 which is back in the 2022 timeframe. Anyone have any ideas on where the Nvidia driver archive is located?  I've tried searching their support site but it only goes back so far. Creo 8.0.0.0 Thanks...

When zooming in Creo Parametric 10.0.5 the text turns into squares. The more I zoom in the more characters turn into squares. Collegues do not have this problem. How do i fix this?

Hello, I often find the floating dashboard that appears when selecting something to be located right over what I am trying to work on in both the drawings and models. Is there some way I can simply dock it to one location? like the corners of the screen? See below picture for an example of the menu I am describing.
