Hello,I would like to better understand the object "ValuesSetter". Description says it is for setting multiple values of double or matrix scaled values by alias. What does "multiple values" mean? How can a single alias, which is supposed to represent a single mathcad variable hold multiple values?And how is this different from Worksheet methods "SetRealValue", "SetStringValue" & "SetMatrixValue"?If there's someone who could give a sample code in VB using the object ValuesSetter and one of its methods, that would be great.There is also an object called SetValueResults. Is it related to object ValuesSetter? And, does anyone know if it is possible to create a matrix of "strings"? Or mix of strings and double even?The method "SetMatrixElement" of the Matrix object and the method "SetMatrixValue" of the object Worksheet only create matrices of type double.I guess I can send the string one by one to mathcad, then group them into one matrix inside the mathcad but I'd like t

We are seeing quite of few check and check out errors . It is not allowing users to check out items even if they were the ones to last edit it. Is there a way to force check in either in windchill or Creo Illustrate .If Creo crashes while a file is checked out, it cannot be checked in but also cannot be edited by the owner. Have to copy and paste the entire thing into a new CAD file and delete the bugged one    

How can I take over the views from the view manager when exporting / saving a PVZ in Creo4? In my old company this always worked without any problems. Now, unfortunately, it doesn't take over anything. 

HiI want to extract a column with data from different tables, where each table contains several subcategorys. See example below (and attached file). Is this possible to do in mathcad?  For example, by selecting "Table 1", "Subcategory 3" and section "C" I want to extract a column containing the right set of data.  Thanks in advance!  

I am trying to replicate a curved scissor mechanism from an old purse (image named open and closed below), I am having some trouble connecting the assembly particularly the translation for the curved parts (image named translation below) , it is working fine with the non-curved version as I selected the bottom and top surfaces respectively. With the curved versions even when I attempt to define unique planes for the translation it does not seem to work, I assume it is due to a problem with the geometry I have defined. I would really appreciate it if the error that I have made can be pointed out, I am attaching the files below. Best,Ibrahim Tayyab

Hello,  I've been having an issue where I have some parts that use some sketches in the parts themselves to show locations in the model based definition drawings (IE: circles or lines to show locations to mask ect). These MBD piece parts are then used in an assembly that's a standard 2D drawing in Creo. I don't want these sketches to show in the assembly drawing as they're not used and could cause confusion. I've found that within the layer tree in the drawing all of these sketches seem to exist in the 005_CURVES layer in each part, so I went through and hid them all so they're no longer showing in my assembly so I figured I was good.  The issue: We use EPDM windchill, so once I checked in the drawing in Creo and pulled the PDF of it from EPDM the sketches were showing up again. It seems that something is un-hiding this layer when the drawing gets sent over to EPDM. If I produce a pdf from creo directly they don't seem to show up, but I need to be able to pull the c

Creo 9 sketcher constraints show as whits circles. This does not add to the functionality. 

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.2.0My tolerance block is greyed out. I've updated the drawing properties to reflect tol_display set to yes, as well as going into the configuration file and setting tol_display to yes. This seems to be the fix from searching across the internet, but it's not fixing the issue for me.

Hi guys,   I have a question about possibilities in creo. Is there any option to divide or split one body which contains two features that are physically connected together ? I know the split body but that’s not usable for complex geometry. I have a task to make a body which represents inside volume of closed housing.   And the second question is if the creo is capable to somehow find air gaps in the closed housing ? Hi, how can I resize the view window based on solid model?I'm using CREP PARAMETRIC 9.I have the necessity of draw a surface "Area designata 1" in an assembly, then I have to hide the surface in drawing. Althought I hide the surface, the view window is oversized because it feels the presence of the surface. The oversize of view window causes problem of views overlapping. How can I resolve this problem?Kings regards. Michele Barile

Hi, I am using Creo 9 and got this problem in an assembly environment.When I assembled a part to a sub-assembly and I encountered this problem that all the datum of the part cannot be seen. From the model tree, I could see the datum (layers, axis and DTM_csys) are grayed. But when I  chose a grayed datum (such a plane) and checked its information and found its status is "shown". Similar problem occurred to another part created in the assembly environment, I could not see its "Axis". Though its planes are shown. Appreciate it if anyone can help me.Allen

My intent is, I want to utilize a while loop with a continue/break statement to track a specific range of numbers within the column based on a given input row index. For instance, if I input the row-index value of "4", I would like to extract the range of values from the 4th index of variable "i" until the end.  Please help. Thank you 

Hello All, I have a system in which there are "N" number of  black layers and each layer will have random thicknesses.  Then, I want to put a red line on top of any black layer. Whenever I do so, I want to find the number of layers existing only below the red line and also the corresponding layer thicknesses. If the red line ends at the end of the lowest black layer, it should not find any layers below. I can do the worksheet if the red line is present at the top black line but am unable to do so if it stays otherwise. Please help. I have attached my work image for reference. Thank you 

Hi guys,   Im just wondering if it is possible to get result of overall volume of interfered parts. I have a really complicated assembly and measuring air volume in the closed housing. Some parts are fully in the housing but some are not. So instead of using multi body features I want to I know if there is another option to measure it.  Thanks 

I am working on redrawing a part from an old 2D print.I am stuck on creating the 4 internal teeth on the main ID.I do not know how to get a 3D curve on the surface and then i can merge surfaces and solidify to make the features. TIASon Nguyen 

Good afternoon,I have been trying to solve a bondary value problem of a 4 grade differential equation but I don't understand how I should setup up my worksheet to obtain the 3 derivatives (C1, C2 and C3 in in the matrix D_). Also, the function "sbval" returns me an error that says "unkown error: exception by call destination", and so I can't calculate the conditions that I need to obtain the solution. I have tried to setup the worksheet and in r = 0, I have obtained the initial conditions that I need but I can't undestand how I can get the solution to zero when r = R.
