I have downloaded pim_installmgr_mathcad.exe so when I try to install it shows extracting but does nothing.  Kind regards.

Here it goes.1) Assume the θsc (pic 1)2) Then several calculation in the middle to get the ampacity value. (pic 2)3) Once current (I) value obtained, the θsc required to be calculated as per red mark above. 4) When θsc calculated, it required to be linked and to be used as input in item (1) above (and so on until) the θsc in item 1 and item 2 comes with 0 difference.5) Calculation sheet as attached. Thanks. 

Hey guys,   Just start learning Creo. I now have a problem: In the instruction, instructor does a lot of right-click, will have a pop-up menu, as shown below. Mine will not show anything. Is there some setting?   How do I change my software? Or how can I define the angle between two lines? Thanks!

I am working on a drawing for a part (that someone else created) and there is a view that should only include an extrude being used for text.  I have removed all the edges from the view.  Everything looks great except there are two lines in the view that I can't select.  After some investigating I discovered they are being added by a round feature on the part (suppress the round the lines go away).  I still haven't been able to figure out how to get rid of the lines, not even sure why they are there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Morning All,  I'm sure this will be a simple Q. However, I'm unable to determine how to set my simulation to apply a thermal conductivity through the model?  I've got two heat sources on the top surface of the model, 600W source each.  I'm passing a flow of air of a series of fan blades & thus want to determine the effectiveness of the fan blades.  When I set the simulation up - I am able to determine the effect of the heat source on the surface of the model however I think that the heat isn't being transferred to the fins in a method I would expect. Hello,In mathcad-15,  Is there away i can get it to display yield mode (Z1m, Z1s, ZII, ZIIIm,ZIIIs...) that associated with or corresponding to the smallest value? For example, when ts=0.125, the smallest value is (198), so the yield mode (ZIIIs), and when ts=0.313, the yield mode corresponding to the smallest value (231) is (ZIV) and so on. Thank you,Sam

 Hello! We have a very large quantity of .mi files that have been created with Direct Modeling over the last years which contain tables with information about the drawn part. We would like to read this information to e.g. find all parts that share certain entries to find similar parts. One idea was to parse the .mi file which contains all text in the file, but we don't know where this text is positioned on the drawing, so we can't interpret all these text-fields again as table where the relative position of the strings is crucial.Is there a parser for mi-files that we could use? We found python-implementations for dxf or dwg, but so far nothing for .mi. It does not have to be python, any implementation would be great. If such a thing does not exist, is there a format-description so that we could implement it ourself?

I find it ridiculous that we cannot choose Z as up axis.I have tried selecting "user defined" as standard orientation, but it will only turn x and y angle.I have tried making own template part and template assembly and replaced the standard CSYS with one that has z as top (up). But then the actual system orientation is still Y up, and my exports will still be oriented wrong anyway. So either choose to always have my exports in wrong orientation, or always view my models from wrong standard orientation What are your best work around for this? 😃

Unfortunately, my PC case broke yesterday and it had my completed homework file on it that was done on Mathcad. I was wondering if there was a way I could recover the file from Mathcad online on my laptop. This may be a somewhat silly question because I'm relatively new to Creo, but for some reason I can't project my equation-defined datum curves into a sketch. I have followed the support page for this exact process but when I try to select the curves for projection into my sketch, nothing happens and the curves aren't selectable in the modeling window. For reference, I am using Creo Parametric 7.0 and am trying to design something defined by epicycloid and hypocycloid curves.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.5.1I have an assembly that has 1 out of several simplified reps using automatic reps instead of the user-defined reps that it is supposed to use. I found a reference in the help docs describing how to open a simplified rep using automatic reps, which is temporary, and how to make it permanent, but nothing on how to revert it back to using user-defined reps. Screenshot of 2 simplified reps' model trees attached. I tried redefining the first level subassemblies to use the correct user-defined reps, but the second and lower subs still use automatic. I have checked up to 5 levels deep.
