Hi Friends,one more question.Here my sheets: In the first area I used Quasi-Newton and got fine results, nearly the same as the ideal values.But when I use LM I get much other results but both methods have the same SSE. could this be true?Thanks

Dear Sirs,i am having a lot of problems when i am running calculations in mathcad 15 and prime 3.1, am wondering if the problems could be related to my computer capabilities to run mathcad.can you please, suggest the optimum characteristics that i should have in my computer to be able to run mathcad 15 and prime 3.1 without so much crashes and delays on the calculation and saving times?because the programs crash so often i am trying to save the calculation sheet as often as possible, which increases the time that i have to dedicate to keep my calculation sheet saved, instead of spending time improving it.thank you in advance,Rogelio

I'm new to Mathcad.  I would like to know how to display row and column labels of a matrix.

I have a plan to animate the catenary problem (see Solver Mathcad 15 and Mathcad Prime)But see that it is impossible - see the picture without  number values.I hope in Mathcad Prime NN we will get debugging tools like as in Prime 14 but without this bug!

The PTC Mathcad team has been working with Microsoft on this specific issue, which was created when Microsoft fixed a bug in .NET 4.5 which then had an undesirable side-effect on how Prime is able to render multi-part text symbols. The most visible impact is that adjacent lines can become misplaced and/or disconnected.Microsoft has been working on a solution for us, but they will not undo their original bug fix. The fix they provide PTC will allow choosing between the old and new behavior by application.Due to Microsoft's Dual Branching Servicing Model the fix will need to be deployed in a Limited Distribution Release, which means that Microsoft is addressing Prime’s specific issue in a *hotfix* that PTC will make available to our customers. Hello,I'm realtively new to MathCAD Prime 3.1. In my previous works I used MathCAD 14 but with this one I can't make this work. Especially the units.Basically, I just want to solve a system of two equations and I can't make this work right. That's why I need some help from you guys. I've searched a lot here, but the problem remains.At the end of the attached file there are two solve blocks. I want to solve them both, so in each one I do: Find(W_L1,R1), for example, to obtain result of the system, but MathCAD can't do that for me and I don't understand why. If I eliminate all the units and try to solve them, I think it does the math. Although, as this is part of my thesis work, I want everything right, including the units, that are essential.Thank you in advance for your time.Regards!

Hi, I'm new on the forum and inexperienced with Mathcad Prime 3, so I need help. In the attached sheet I just wrote the kinetic model for a CSTR, which is a simple system of 2 algebric equations. There are lots of parameters that are fixed and one, XFRC (conversione of the reagent), that must change because I have to plot the solution of the systemwith respect to that parameter. I have some old Mathcad files I downloaded.  The are Peng Robinson based files and would do bubble point pressure, dewpoint pressure and temperatures.  They can be useful, but I have no means to update the files to the present Mathcad.

I would like to start printing of a series of worksheets from an external Application. The external application was created to collect worksheets, force modifications and update them. The printout to XPS give the ability to insert content dependent header/footer. What I need now is the automated creation of such XPS outputs. This is normally done by printing to "XPS Document Writer" (Windows 7). The SDK does not have a interface for printing - not in the default automation dll. Is there any other dll or any other way to do this?

The attached worksheet attempts to search a vector and if any values are "single" they are replaced with "group" and the value directly after it is multiplied by 2. In the attached worksheet (first attached jpeg) this doesn't work, however in a prior worksheet (second attached jpeg) it does work. Why is this?Also, is there a function (such as an if function) that can search an entire vector for "group" and if it finds it anywhere then perform a line-by-line operation such as that above?

In an external automation application  for Mathcad Prime 3.1 I need the information about errors of a worksheet after the modification event was raised (SDK). How can I get this?
