Hi Folks,Currently Arbortext support ePub2 as a format.Epub3 has been around for a while - and so far I haven't seen anything that would lead me to believe that Arbortext will support anything newer in the near future.So the question is, will Arbortext support ePub3 - or is ePub as an output format just being sustained at its current level with no plans for further development?Thanks,Rob.

When I export my model as a step file (also tried IGES & Parasolid) the surfaces used to create various part shows up when importing into Solidworks.  My Export STEP settings has surfaces unchecked (see picture below).  If I open the step file back up in Creo it opens correctly but my customer uses Solidworks and sees all the surfaces after importing.  How do I make sure these surfaces don't show up when exporting from Creo & importing into solidworks?  This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi Team,We are working on some mashup with multiple tabs related activity. We want to hide some of the tabs dynamically based on the user logging in.We are able to dynamically disable the tab by assigning false value to disable checkbox but we are not able to dynamically hide the tab by assigning false value to visible checkbox. When the mashup loads, it hides the tab temporarily but this event is not persistent, with in a second, it switches back to normal and shows all tabs.Let me know if there is any workaround for this.Thanks in advance.

Hi, when I am creating new table or inserting it by ProDrawingTableCreate or ProDwgtableRetrieve I have to specify the origin - the point where the table is inserted.This point is in screen coordinates, but I need to place the table to concrete position (for example right upper corner) on the drawing, not on screen. Hello,   I need your help. I'd like to open a part or an assembly directly from a drawing view. I am able to select a model in a view, but when I use RMB then there are only 3 options. "Show Model Annotations", "Create BOM Balloon", "Set/Add Drawing Model". Hello,Could someone please explain how equation 1 is arrived at, in the attached Mathcad file. The Simulation Hypothesis posits that we are living in a computer simulation writen by our posthuman (ie. in the far future) selves. The statistical analysis is based on the following (taken from the Abstract of the paper in the Reference, at the end of the Mathcad document):This paper argues that at least one of the following propositions is true: (1) the human species is very likely to go extinct before reaching a “posthuman” stage; (2) any posthuman civilization is extremely unlikely to run a significant number of simulations of their evolutionary history (or variations thereof); (3) we are almost certainly living in a computer simulation. Hi,I added this part in my Windchill 10.2 workspace from a family table and it occurs that this family table is pretty big.Is there a way to only display the generic part and not see the whole list in my workspace, or only the instance I use?My assembly have something like 10 parts but they are flooded in 300 instances of a screw...

The title says it all. When I assemble a component to my assembly, if I hold my middle mouse button down to rotate the assembly after the rotation, it auto accepts the component placement. Sometimes I can get it to do one rotation without doing this and sometimes it does it on the first one. How can i get a new license for Creo 3.0 student version? The old one expired.I´m now a student at university and must prepare for the studiums of next semester.The old license is deleted, but can not get the new one.p.s. In the past i received the license per Email from PTC when it expired.

Do you guys know of any resources that could help a complete beginner out with Creo Parametric? I mean resources that assume that you know absolutely nothing about Creo.I was able to find PTC university through Google, but the videos there seem to assume that you're already somewhat familiar with Creo, it's user interface, and the basic understanding of all the tools and their functions. Plus, they don't seem to be organized in terms of difficulty. It would be nice to find a set of videos that starts out explaining the absolute basics of Creo, even it's user interface, and then gradually introduces new concepts in the following videos.I was also able to find the Creo Parametric Quick Reference Card. It was really useful, and it helped me quickly learn the basics of how to control Creo with the mouse and keyboard without having too rely on trial and error. When creating a start part you can use the 'Designate' box in the parameters to have the selected parameter be a prompt on starting a part. With WF4 these parameters would show up in the same order as the relations but with Creo 2.0 they always show up in backwards alphabetic order. My company has just switched from using Pro-E Wildfire 4.0 and Intralink, to using Creo 3.0 and Agile PLM.The data has been migrated and we are attempting to "Go-Live."I have checked out an assembly from Agile into Creo, and corrected some issues with the assembly.However, I am having an issue checking the assembly back into Agile.  I have attached a screenshot of the prompt I get informing me of missing objects for the assembly.I am not sure how to decipher what the prompt is telling me.  It appears to be an issue with family tables, but I have opened and verified all families.  I have made sure that in all the assemblies the "Green, Yellow, Red" indicator shows up as green, and regenerated everything I can think of.I could really use some direction, as I am running out of ideas.  Has anyone ever come across this prompt?Thanks,BrandenThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello together,this is the first input from my site in this forum. So I hope I propose this discussion aceptably:We are currently struggeling  to adapt our document structure in a way that all downstream traces are correctly shown (Tab "Content" --> Relationships --> Downstream Traces).The issue is that we use 3 ducuments of the same template with the same level ("Requirement Document"). These 3 created documents share downstream / upstream relationships. But the fuctionality  "Downstream Traces" neglects these 3 as they all are Requirement Documents (of the same level).Within the AdministrationGuide I wasn´t able to find a resolution and would be glad about help and suggestions.Thanks and wishesDaniel

Using the for programming expression in "for each" mode is a useful mode when iterating over an array and the index of an element is not a concern.  The mode works under the numeric processor when used in a free-standing program and inside a function.However, when using the symbolic processor, the mode only works in a free-standing program and not in a function (where it is much more useful).This is a long standing error in Mathcad.  Has it been fixed in Prime?  Can it be fixed in the next Mathcad 15 update?Stuart

Hi,I want to have several parameters take on different values depening on material selection. I have been unable to use text in if statements so far. The best would be if the user could select the materials from a set of selections. So far I have done it bu using an embedded excel sheet and doing the input in there, but I am not happy about it. Do anyone have an elegant solution for this?For example:Material="S355"a=2b=3c=4Material="316L"a=0.5b=1c=5etc...any help is much appreciated.

I have a vendor asking for a DXF of a model but in version 12. When I save the drawing, I got the option of changing which DXF version to 12 (default is set to 13), but I don't have that option with the model.
