I can create trail files and can make them into custom commands and attach them to mapkeys.Is there a way to call routines that can pause for the user to select items, then continue?In particular, I have a user that wants to have a command that allows him to start a fiber and then apply a data set to the wire before continuing on to the next one. Hi All,Just wondering if everyone else is experiencing the same issue.I am using ThingWorx 7.2 and Chrome for displaying a Google Maps widget on a modal popup (static mashup) along with some other widgets (labels, list etc).When viewing this modal popup, through a Navigation Widget, the Google Maps Widget tends to display fine. However if I close this modal popup and reopen again by clicking the Navigation Widget the Google Maps Widget disappears, this happens for all subsequent times I open the modal popup until I refresh the page. I have also noticed this problem happening in previous versions of ThingWorx (7.1, 6 etc).I have tried this using FireFox and the problem is even worse as I cannot get the Google Maps widget to display at all on a poup.This is a rather annoying bug as it means that Customers would have to refresh the page everytime they want to open a modal popup (which may be several times on the same page).Is anybody else experiencing this issue? Hi I have a problem in Creo 3, how can I change assembly/part name in drawing? In Creo 2, there is "Rename" and I can choose part/assembly which I want to change name. The new right click menu is nice and big. When upgrading to 10.0 from 10.2 M030, I have 2 questions..Are there are negatives to upgrading on the same production server?.I have always seen where most upgrade to a separate server, for fear of conflicts with db, wc folders, vaults, etc..What is the 1st accept MOR to upgrade to.I have always read where anything before M020 has too many bugs to upgrade to. Hello there,This maybe a simple thing but I just can not figure out how to do it.Here is the thing, I have a simple part that is constrained at the hole, of course the load is applied.Now at the measures tab I can "measure" the resultant forcé at the constrain however if I try to "measure" any of the components  x,y,z it gives me an error, it tells me reactions measures are computed for constrains relative to the WCS...please select a different constrain...ok first question, why is it?how can I measure the omponents of the resultan force at the constrain?See file attachedI really apreciatte any help on thisThanksAntonioThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Does anyone know of a good tool to view Windchill logs? I heard Apache Chainsaw would work, but do not see any documentation to support this.

Can someone tell me how and when creo publishes information to creo view? We tend to have issues viewing old drawings in creo view and im wondering if thats a backwards compatability issue with windchill.

Can you rename a workspace in Windchill 10.2?I seem to be remember being able to do this at one point, but the edit pencil icon only lets me change description, context, etc.  Is my mind slipping, and I'm just imagining having this ability at one point?

Hi,I have two square tubes that need to be welded together with an angle of 90° and with each of them cutted at 45° (as in the picture, hoping it is clear enough):and in order to do a proper and completely filling welding, I need to prepare the edges with a chamfer on the ends of both tubes (like a V-Butt weld indeed).If I just make a chamfer feature on the edge, being it with a constant size, the chamfer doesn't remove material in the same way through the whole edge loop (leaves some flat surfaces, and the reason is related to the geometry).I am searching for a way to have the white square end of the chamfer being tied everywhere to the inside edge, which would be perfect for my purpose.I have tried many ways: selecting reference instead of value, by performing a sweep with the two chains and changing the options (normal to trajectory, to surface, etc etc...), but with no success.Maybe with the sweep is feasible (and I may be missing something). Hello allI have one old multi model drawing with 7-8 different models but only with small geometry changes. All,   Two fold question.   Is there a way to change the default of Relative accuracy (something that PTC has moved away from) when creating a new part in Creo Parametric from Empty? Hello,Parent Project contains different versions of Sub-Projects within its hierarchy.For member, one can perform "Update Member Revision" to select a previous version of the member in order to change the contents of the next sub-project version.Now I want for the next version of the Parent Project to have an older version of  sub-project within the hierarchy of the Parent Project.I don't see any menu similar to "Update Member Revision" for the Sub-Project.Any idea how to select a different version of Sub-Project for the Parent Project so that the next checkpoint of Parent Project contains an older version of Sub-Project.Thank you.Regards

Grouping in the model tree.I inherited a small assembly (about 100 items) from an employee who is no longer here, and ran into something that I, and a few others, have not seen before before.When working in the assembly I grouped several fasteners together just to reduce my model tree, so I could correct some other issues.After I got everything cleaned up (leaving the group in place) I started cleaning up the drawing and I noticed some rivets were missing in the views, not on the parts list.I went back to the assembly and searched for the rivets and found that I had them grouped. When I highlighted on the group I could see the outline of the rivet, but it was invisible. These items were not hidden or suppressed, they were just grouped and invisible.When I ungrouped, the rivets reappeared!I grouped them back together and they were invisible again. The drawing parts list showed no change like suppressing an item. I was in "MASTER REP" when I did all of this grouping and un grouping.I am

Hello All,I am about to build an application that will connect information from different data sources and one cool functionality to add is the relationship tracking as it is done in TWX composer as it works with the Thing ->Thing Template  relationship (uses this entity screen).The idea is that each node in the tree would drive the user to the system that owns the data.Does anybody has some idea of what I should do to do it? Hi, I have an assembly containing a mechanism and its environment and I want to create a motion analysis study using the MDX/MDO features which allows me to automically detect a collision during a certain kinematic analysis. I created position-type measures on my motion axes in the mechanism module which tell me the positions of my bodies and I've enabled the collision detection settings with the option "stop when colliding" on. My idea was to use the measures in the motion analysis study to tell me at what position the interference is occuring but the problem is that the study is not stopping at the collision (but it is detecting it!). Because it is not stopping I'm not able to lean this position from the model. Does anybody have experience with such a study? When I enable collision detection the study creates a new parameter called "COLLISIONS_DETECTED:MDX" and "COLLIDED_PARTS_LIST:MDX" and these parameters work indeed even if the study continues after the collision.This thread is in

I am trying to plot log-log plots of some equations that produce data in SI units.  While the form of the plots appears correct, the Y values are way off. The tick mark values also contain multipliers of 10 in some positions.  Here is the plot.  I would rather not send the file.  A plot should be a plot. The plotted equation evaluated at 100 km is shown.  Also, I cannot adjust the size of the unreadable font on the axis values.  What goes?  I am now transcribing all of my MatCAD work to MathLab because MathCAD as become so poor.

Dear Community I need help on how to convert data that are coming from a function "150" point into a vector of one column, My target is that after I finish the function I need to process this data by comparing them to a constant and divide these data based on the comparisonMy work is as following 1) I have a range called z, this range is then used in a function2) this function e(z) outputs are a range based on z 3) I then need to compare all the values that are in the range of the fn e(z) to a constant c4) for the values that are less than c; I need to report them as is 5) for all the values that are greater than c I need to report them as c+16) then I want to combine all the values again in the order starting from values less than c to values greater than c Please guide Thanks
