How can I control the spacing of dashes in phantom, centerline, hidden, and similar lines when exporting a PDF? Currently, the spacing is so wide that some non-solid lines look solid in the PDF. The Text InfoTip associated with "ASYNC" states, "Executes the service asynchronously. Without additional coding (i.e. event subscriptions, property changes, ect.) or logging, values and/or exceptions are not returned."Can someone explain this a bit better? What's it's impact? What are the Pros/Cons?  I'm trying to determine when I need to enable this.In general, is there s Developers Guide that I can reference for questions like this?

I know I can set Creo to not to keep file versions but would like to keep 3 and no more. Thanks.Also I know I can use purge.exe to clean folders but I dont want to do that. Hello,I use Intellij Idea for Windchill customization, and I have got a problem with configurating it for debug, I have created remote debug connection and set "localhost" as a host and "2015" as a port. Then I have added new property to site.xconf, as it is written in two different instructions, compiled it and restarted Windchill.:   <Property name="wt.manager.cmd.MethodServer.nonibm.java.args"   overridable="true"             targetFile="codebase/wt.properties"  value="-agentlib:jdwp=transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=2015"/>Now, when I am trying to debug my project, i am getting message 'Error running RemoteWindchillConnection: Unable to open debugger port (localhost:2015): java.net.ConnectException "Connection refused: connect"'. This is the message I get when I open Creo programs, but I can't figure out how to license it. I have done this before but it always worked just fine when I downloaded it. I can't find any product code, the only thing I managed was to find was an email that contained a file. Hello Gurus, I've written a report that returns all the markups and annotations against a particular CAD document and/or particular user. The problem is that when the object that the markup was created against is no longer the latest, the UI does not allow the user to view or open the markup. Bug? PTC Case logged!  Anyhow, i am trying to recreate the URL in the report that launches the markup in Creo View. I have been able to get all of the necessary data except for the application data id for the markup. When I convert a drawing from .mi to .dwg, using creo emennts direct modeling 18.1, all the elements of geometry changes the thickness of rows following the scale factor. If, as an example, i use a scale 5:1, aftre conversion from .mi to .dwg, the rows of geometry increase the thickness oh 5 times and the drawing in .dwg is very difficult to see. This do not occour if I convert from .mi to .pdf. Also the conversion of value and thickness of quotes is correct. I am trying to solve a problem with a snap-fit, where I have a given geometry and I would like to calculate required retraction force.This is the way I tried:The model is constrained, material defined,... then I defined the retraction force as a parameter (relation input: FORCE=12) and defined the load as Dir Vector&Magnitude (x=0,y=0,z=1, Mag=FORCE)Also I defined custom measure - deflection (measuring distance on a point on a snap). Hello,I wonder if I already know the best way to accomplish this...  Here is what I am looking for:I have an assembly with a handful of the same instance assembled individually (no pattern) They all share the same value for an offset dimension - the offset is from another instance.  I want to manipulate one dimension and have all the others follow.I could create a parameter and relate all the dims to that param.  But then I need to go into parameters to edit the value.I could relate all of the dims to one instance - but then I have to remember which one needs to be edited for the change to work...I'd really like to be able to edit any of the dims and they would all update.  Is that possible?Thanks!-NateThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello!   I'm trying to solve some equations using command odesolve and all i get is error "too few initial conditions". After using ctrl+f9 it shows, that the problem is caused by constants K. I believe all "start" conditions are included. The document is about chemical reactions and i want to represent on a graph the change of the concentration of the elements in time. I'm using Mathcad 14.   Any ideas of what may be causing this problem?
