I have installed Creo 3.0 student version but yet the program is not running, Please help me resolve this issue

I currently have a FOSI that is failing to compile/print most of the times (but not all of the time).In the "formatter messages" window, the warning is "An empty page fault occurred."In the event log, the warning is "Error: Failure post-processing for composer type pdf.  FATAL ERROR: Operation terminated."and"ERROR: Runtime error formatting document: main:: Error='[A12627] Error: A fatal formatting error occurred.  Refer to the formatting faults log file "file name here"."The log file has been of no help.  I am unable to consistently get this FOSI to compile or fail at the same elements or point in processing, nor does it repeat with any other FOSI.Any ideas?

When I use the automated chamfering sequence I have a problem. If your chamfer angle doesn't match the tool even by a few minutes or seconds of the chamfer angle it won,t cut the chamfer.When dealing with molds this happens a lot of times for me with drafted surfaces. Here is an example of what I am talking about.the surface circled in blue has a draft on the side wall so the chamfer will not cut it and throws the error message circled in red.I think there needs to be a setable angle tolerance for the chamfer sequence because it is just used to break edges and is not a precise cut by any means. If I want a precise angle chamfer I will surface it with a ball end mill.the work around is to cut it with a trajectory tool path but that is not as easy as just selecting the chamfers with the chamfer sequence.I was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem before I go to tech support?  This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I want to know is there any command in Creo Parametric similar to Project Cut edges in Autodesk Inventor or Intersection Curve in SolidWorks. If not a specific command so how it can be done in creo. I have conflicting license keys on my desktop at home, I just installed Creo 3 with a new set of license keys and my old ones expired. It does not work anymore for some reason, the error that comes up says a lot about licenses and redirects me to a folder which is where the keys are stored. I deleted the old ones manually in the file folder, but the same error pops up again, just with a much shorter message and the same directory, even though the old files are gone. Could someone help me with this as I desperately need to work on something before Monday (3 days).

Hello,I am trying to copy all of the part geometries of an imported part, into a protrustion.  So, for example, the lighter blue in the photo are just two faces of a much more complex part that I need to copy and paste into the Protrusion (the darker box).Instead of going through each and every surface, edge, corner, of the part inside of the protrusion, how do I select the entire thing and then Copy and Paste it into the protrusion?For example, the front face and top face of the light blue, I selected -> Ctrl+C -> Ctrl+V, and then validated with the check mark.  I do not want to do this for each little surface in this part that I imported.  And I am looking for a way to select it all -> Ctrl+C -> Ctrl+V.Thanks!

Hi all,we are facing a challenge to use an upload mechanism in a distributed windchill environment. For that we want to use as much ootb interface technology as possible. In one approach we have implemented a solution for WTDocuments using the Generic Web Service, which is based on SOAP. Our users can click in an authoring application to send files to Windchill as WTDocuments.This is fine and working, but it is not respecting our fileserver infrastructure. We have multiple remote sites with their own fileservers. If now a File is send to Windchil via the Generic Web Service, this file is transferred to the central Master Server and than back to the local Fileserver.Are there any approaches out there to avoid this not needed network transfer for WTDocuments?Thx in advanceRobert

Hey I'm a student and at school we use mathcad 14. I decided to download the free mathcad express prime to try and be able to work on my homework and class problems outside of school. I've tried typing in exactly what we did in class (which worked perfectly) into the free mathcad express and nothing seems to be working and can't figure out how to type some of the functions into the program. Here is the part that was giving me the most trouble. the left is what we did in class (on a word document) and right is my attempt at inputting it into mathcad express.Thanks

My user wants to roll back a member to a previous version.  I know there is a way to do this in other tools.  Can PTC Integrity do this?Thanks,Ginny

The first script peeks into the XML - a parameter of an HTTP POST service request (REST API) - to identify the thing and service that needs to be invoked to parse out the data. Then the script calls the second service passing the same XML object as the first and only parameter. ThingWorx throws the following exception (that is returned in the payload of HTTP 500 Internal Server Error).Wrapped java.lang.Exception: Invalid parameter type for serviceNow what? Is this just not allowed or is the XML object in some state where it cannot be used in another script?

Hi everyone! We have been having issues modeling the Tetrix motor (tetrix_739083_2012). Whenever we add it to an assembly, the part doesn't show up and we get a notice that the part failed to regenerate. We tried downloading the part again, but that did not help. I am running Creo Parametric/Simulate 3.0 M070.  We recently upgraded our PCs and we now have 16Gb RAM, 500 GB Solid State Hard drive running Win 7 64.   The processor is an intel i7-4790 @ 3.6 GHz. Hi,have some trouble using PTC Integrity ... hope it´s due to my beginner status Usecase:(0) setup a sandbox(1) have a binary file member(2) make working file writable(3) apply some changes in the sandbox (to the working file)(4) do a CheckOut to bring the changes under source control(5) the CheckOut always (regardless of any settings in the UI, e.g. "overwrite working file if changed") overwrites the "local" changes in the sandbox with the content from the server! (similar as Resynchronize command)If I do the same workflow on a ASCII/Text file, then the CheckOut keeps the local changes in the sandbox, which is absolutely what I expect and want.To me it seems that Integrity behaves totally different for binary files as for ASCII files.How can I change the behavior to always keep local changes in the :working file on a CheckOut?Integrity Version 10, Build 10.5.0.5479Thanx in advanceMarkus

Running Creo 3.0, build M020 with Wildfire.We do large aircraft assembly and modification models and drawings. What happens is we can complete a model and then complete the drawing. If anything changes on the model it can cause views on the drawing to move. In the past we were careful to compartmentalize drawings and models in unique stand alone directories. With Windchill that is no longer possible.What I am faced with is I spent close to 100 hours doing a complicated drawing with lots of fasteners depicted by symbols.I completed the drawing and checked it in. Recently I went back just to review something and every view is scattered, because work had continued on the master model. Livid doesn't begin to describe how I feel. It happens to everyone in the group. Locking View movement doesn't stop  it. Associating draft entities doesn't help. I was even told to put a blank view off the format and erase it, then it wouldn't happen.Is there something really simple we missing to preven

This assigns a Work Item to each group member and completes with ANY vote.
