I'm having issues making Mathcad 15 remember unit redefinitions, this is especially a bother when using the explicit function.When I calculate a UDL from a pressure load (kPa x m = kN/m) Mathcad defaults the answer in kg/s^2. I redefine the units as kN/m which is okay, but when the variable is recalled, Mathcad returns the units to kg/s^2, this makes using the explicit function ugly. Any help?I've tried making the variable unitless and then reassigning it on the next page over but this doesn't seem to help either.Example doc attached

Hi all,I have inherited a very messy drawing which has lots of custom symbols associated with it. As many of these are no longer used on the drawing sheet, I would like to perform a housekeeping exercise and delete them. Got some problem with obtaining licence during Creo install to new workstation.Description:- PCs connected via site (don´t know more informations about site )     - my PC called K620     - INTEGRA is the PC where licence has been saved (should be like server machine, but it´s regular PC)- K620 and INTEGRA pings are ok from both sides (see cmd window below)- Firewall was turned off- ESET end point antivirus was turned offINTEGRA PC informations:- Creo is running corectly ---> flexnet is OK and licence file is OK tooQuestion:Something is blocking communications and l don´t know what is it?Could you give me some tips what to check, please?l´m solving this problem with local PTC reseller too, but more heads know more... Hi Everyone...     Starting tomorrow January 22 through the 24th, PTC/User is holding it's bi-annual "face to face" Technical Committee ("TC") meetings. These meetings are held twice a year- once at PTC Headquarters and again at the PTC Live World Event (or whatever we're calling it this year).   Volunteers from PTC customers and other interested individuals comprise the membership of these Technical Committees. I know you can highlight it and choose edit, fit elements. This will center it but it will scale it to fit the square. Is there an automatic way to center the object on the page without scaling it?

Hi,I use Windows 7 operating system and PTC Integrity 10.6.0.7337, API Version 4.14.7337I have some text files where the line separator is \n (0A hexa).I see that after checking in these files and then checking them out, the file size is larger ?!The difference is given by the line terminator which appears to have been suddenly changed to \r\n (0D 0A hexa)So why has the PTC Integrity client changed the line terminator of my text files ? I want them stored as they are originally.Thanks !

Hi all,I have been using  MathCad Prime 3.1 for some weeks: I recently implemented a solve block in which I defined a system of ODEs with guess values and initial conditions: the solution is calculated via "odesolve" function. Since I need to have the time and initial conditions as parameters, I was wondering how to define the solve block as a function, in order to recall it wherever within my worksheet.Does anyone know how to do this?Thanks a lot!Domenico

I have found that sometimes the value is set, sometimes not. Where can I define the value? Has anyone received the following error trying to open a flat cable file in Creo 3?"Cabling harness cannot be opened in isolation. Please open the cabling assembly which contains the harness."We are currently working in Creo2 and M200 w/WC.  A client asked us to modify a cable, but we were missing some of the cable files (MFG).  The sent us the missing files, but they were all in Creo 3.  Unbeknownst to us, they migrated to Creo 3.  We installed a single seat of Creo 3 to modify this on cable, but we keep on receiving the error above.  We've never run into this error in Creo 2, and it has us a bit perplexed.  We're pretty green at the cabling extension, and was hoping some one could shed some light on what we're missing or doing wrong.  This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I put this out to the modeling community, but thought I would share here as well. How do you manufacturing guys get around this? Is there any Pro/Wire guys in this group?   We come across this issue every once in awhile in our Wire EDM Department. The wire needs a straight line radius because the wire should not bend. Is there a round feature that will give us a point to point constant round between these two primitives. A cone being intersected by a tapered cube.  When we add a constant round the resulting (long) edges of the round become bent. When looking from the top they look like this. Here I created a boundary blend (yellow edges) between the upper cure and the lower cure (short edges of the round) to shot what result we are looking for. You can clearly see the bend in the long edges. Is there a round feature that will give me the straight long edges of the round. Or, is this just impossible. Thanks in advance for your help. Am I right?When update a WTPart (or insert) we want to mask some (for us not necessary) fields. Unfortunately I can´t find the layout in the "Type- and Attributeadministration"."Gemeinsame Attribute bearbeiten" (translation something like "Edit common attributes"). Hi Guys,I have a following scenario. I have Thing Template based on generic template. I have assigned a value stream on Template level. I have created a several Things with several logged properties from that template. Now I would like to purge an entire ValueStream. I cannot run the service on a Template level, so what I would have to do is to call PurgeProeprtyHistory service for each and every Thing. This is not very efficient. Is there any other way how to purge an eintire ValueStream? Thanks a lot.

I'm trying to create a title block for a calculation document, but whenever I create my heading with multiple lines the lower lines don't show up in the print, only the top one. Has anyone encountered this issue before?I've attached a little document showing the issue

Just wondering, have a guy working on some S1000D screen FOSIs, but not being a FOSI guy or having ready access to styler, is there a way to open, for instance, the crewSchema.xsd as a doctype, and allow for opening a test doc to use the FOSI panels?Been goofing with directory structures, URI catalog entries, the closest I can get is doc arch will open the crewSchema without error, but errors when trying to open a test doc.Is this just a limitation of doc arch, or is there another way?thanks,-Jason

Anyone run across this before?We created a part model and drawing in a project.Sent both objects to PDMWant to create a WTPart and associate it to the drawing and model.Get an association back to the ProjectLink version of the model.  (See screenshot.)I know that the ProjectLink object is coming from the drawing.  I can associate the WTPart to the PDMLink model correctly.Any thoughts?-marc
