Hi,   I have problem with my Creo Parametric 3.0 - student version. When I run program I always get this window and Creo don't started. Any ssuggestion or advice? Please. Hello,   I use multiple sheet drawings and would like to automate part numbers on all sheets according to a relation in parts and subassemblies (the part number must be same on each sheet). We have a lot of document domains that have a lot of associated metadata which is required to understand the context of the document.This requires the document view to show very specific columns for each domain, with the view also changing between an authoring vs. an approval vs. a tracing task.IE. A system requirement domain should have 5 specific columns when authoring, an additional trace status column for tracing, and 3 additional approval related columns when approving.These columns change from domain to domain as I mentioned earlier. The given example is a simple one, some domains have upto 12-15 fields that are necessary to understand the document. In the beginning, it's impossible for our users to know which fields matter, how they have been configured and what those fields are called in Integrity, so I don't want to depend on users to be able to choose the columns themselves.I understand that I can pre-configure column contexts, but is it possible to go into the level of detai

We recently upgraded to creo 3.0 m060 from creo 2.0.One problem we are facing is that some mapkeys added to the ribbon stopped working.The mapkeys work if we type the text on the keyboard, but adding them to the ribbon nothing happens. The buttons don´t do anything.What the mapkeys do is open a config file and open a file.This only happens in two computers. Hi all,I made a file in Mathcad prime 2.0 a few weeks ago andnow that I try to open it I get the error message "fie type is not supported"I already searched the community and found out that it happens when there is tiff files in the filewhich is not the case for me.Please help.The Mathcad file and error log file are attached below.Best Regards,Mahdi

Hello community,I'm trying to figure out how does the property synchronization mechanism work.I'm using TW 6.5 and the Java SDK.If I understand well VALUE,TIME; QUALITY property is associated to each property update EVEN IF you don't specify them explicitly. I assume this because you can always invoke the "/Thingworx/Things/ThingName/PropertiesVTQ" REST API method on a Thing property.In particular how does the setPropertyValue() method work?I guessing this: setPropertyValue()  assumes currentTime taken at the invocation time of the setPropertyValue(), and it assumes quality GOOD.Am I guessing right?Giuliano

Hi..   I have created a pipe by Pro-piping module, and in drawing need repeat region table with information of point information of X, Y, Z co-ordinate and Bend angle, But We need bend angle with round figure value i.e. if angle is 56.223 then it should display 56 or if value is 56.895 then it should display 57.   Or at least I can able to show only value without decimal. i.e. if value is 56.223 or 56.895 I need only 56 NO after decimal. Hello,I have worked since a few years with Creo2, but I never had to use the Creo Toolkit before.I want to create a tool for Creo, that automatizes the construktion of a blend feature.Unfortunately, I don´t know much about the use of Toolkit and the Information aviable on the Internet is very rare. Hello,is it possible to restore a deleted member revision on MKS2009?one user just delete revision 1.x. we wanted to add it again using "add member from archive" but integrity tell that the member already exist.Thanks for any suggestion

The way I communicate the simulation results is most often to make a screen clipping and paste into a PowerPoint or email. Starting with 3.0 the results viewer is more difficult to capture a clean image out of.  The small on screen menu is distracting and clutters the image. The same for the "quantity & component" that are now in shaded boxes.Also when doing screen captures it is difficult to always get the same size, area and not get the framing.  Autodesk MoldFlow Advisor has a very nice "copy to clipboard" button.  This captures the active window and puts a nice clean image out, so that if you paste 20 images into a report they are all the same size and shape - Much more professional looking results.  I would like to request a "copy to clipboard" button. Additionally it might be nice to have a "copy to clipboard or save image as fixed size" button where you always get the image on screen at the preconfigured 1200x800 pixels [you configure size].I know you can

Hi all, I am not new to MathCad and I always seem to figure out the little tricks but this one I cannot. I have also given up searching online for an answer. I have run into this problem before but I just replaced constants with values. My point is I'm not dumb I just can't find the button that fixes this problem! HahaQuestion is: Is there anyway to graph by the constants of the function? I can't think of a good way to phrase this question so here is an example.I uploaded a graph of the mass of a particle in the theory of relativity as a function of v. What I want to do is not assign m0 and c to values, but I want them to be constants so that the y intercept would be m0 and the asymptote would be c. So on the graph on the y-axis would simply be a mark m0 and on the x-axis a mark of c.Is there anyway to do this? If not can you use the markers to mark m0 and c on the graph? Seems like there should be a way to do this other than assigning m0 to a value and c to 3*10^8. Would something lik

I've had to switch from the Neo4J ThingWorx to using the PostgreSQL version of ThingWorx. I de-installed the current version, deleted ThingWorxStorage and ThingWorxStoragebackup and installed the PostgreSQL version.When I started ThingWorx again I got the message "Failure to return license click check".I read this document, and IHave plenty of disk spaceHave plenty of memoryHave no Neo4J storageHave deleted all previous storageWhat might be causing this problem?

Can some one with Dita knowledge (that is not me) answer my question. What should be displayed in the rev column?If I set the rev level on a topic that is a procedure. Why does it not show up in my Ditamap. I can change the rev level in the Ditamap but that rev level has nothing to do with the actual topic itself. It only changes the referenced files rev level in that particular ditamap. So If I use the same topic in two Ditamaps. According to the particular Ditamap, the topic could be rev A in one and rev B in the other, becuse the rev level is set in the Ditamap. But when opening the specific reused topic it could be a rev D already. We don't have a CMS, which I would expect would make this easier. How does one without a CMS manage rev levels of individual topics in a Ditamap with no way to see the rev level in the Ditamap.ThanksBryon

I have a very large data stream where a typical query of 1 week of data results in tens of thousands of entries. At first, I had an issue with the chart not displaying all the data within the date range but I remedied this by setting a high value in maxItems of the QueryStreamEntriesWithData service. Unfortunately, this results in slow-downs in the mashup.I am wondering if there is a way to query entries in such a way that I can set some maxItems value and will ignore certain entries but will retain a meaningful display of data of that date range.For example, if I had 50,000 entries within the date range of 10 days and a maxItems at 500, the query will skip 100th entry.Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, I am trying to use the blend tool and as you know it will ask for a sections then you do your thing and it makes it happen. however when I go and press Section the little drop down menu dose not aper and I cannot then use the feature. when I split the screen so I can see all windows on my desktop I shows the window is open but when I go and select that sections window it still dose not aper. and one point the window sis show but It was huge had to drag it along over and over just to find the button Any ideas?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I would like to apply orthotropic material properties to a single part in my assembly model and have created a coordinate system for this component.   When I try to edit my material to apply orthotropic or transversely isotropic properties, I cannot find a way to link these to my component coordinate system.Is there a way of doing this?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello all,We are running Creo 1.0 M050 w/ Windchill 10.0 M030.After Creo crashes, I restart the application and it will then hang on the "Retrieval" Window ("Creo Parametric was not closed properly...Click retrieve or continue"). I am pretty sure it has to do with Windchill - in particular two lines in my config file. I know this because if I remove these lines from the config, Creo will not hang on the retrieval window upon startup.The config file lines in question are:pro_format_dir wtpub://Windchill/Libraries/Library/Formatsstart_model_dir wtpub://Windchill/Libraries/Library/FormatsIf I start Creo after a legitimate shutdown (not after a crash), everything loads just fine with no hangs.Any ideas?Andri
