Hi,I'm trying to print a list off all non-members within a sandbox into a textfile. I've tried 'si viewnonmembers' but got this error message in return:MKS124814: Cannot show view information: MKS125335: Out of tree members and subprojects (not located in the project directory or a subdirectory of the project directory) are not supported.The errormessage doesn't seem to fit my sandbox so I would be grateful if anyone has a clue what went wrong. By the way, if I am using the GUI (Sandbox -> Views -> view non-members)   this works fine.Thanks!

I am looking to perform a "Save As" operation on an assembly. Certain parts of my assembly have already been saved as the file name I want to use from previous "Save As" operations on similar assemblies.Ex. PartA needs to become 123-PartA. 123-PartA already exists in WindChill.I need WindChill to offer the override to create a new iteration of 123-PartA using my source file or allow me to substitute the existing 123-PartA into my assembly. Experts, I was working on a code for fetching WTGroups and I saw some strange values being returned by the code. On checking the DB I saw weird group names in the database as well. These groups are not present in the UI. Any idea what these are? I also wrote a query builder report to query all WTGroups. It also returns the same.

I need to perform a "save as" operation on a large assembly, complete with multiple sets of drawings, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. I cannot do it while connected to WindChill due to errors with pre-existing file names (Intralink allowed an override but that feature is lost in WindChill).I know that while working offline in CREO, I can rename a top level assembly with the File - Save As command and receive the prompt to rename the rest of the parts of the assembly. I need this command to work but include the drawing attached to the top level assembly. Performing a File - Save As command on a drawing only renames the drawing and does not change anything with the rest of the files.I think CREO has the functionality to do this because the rename command will update everything in session and on the disk, but I do not know how to tell CREO to save the entire package to a new set of names.Thank you for any input.

Hi, In a mashup, I have a tree and container mashup. On selectedRowchanged event, I am passing mashup name from tree to container mashup. Basically I want to load different mashup or refresh same mashup when parent node or child node is selected. Also I want to refresh same mashup when different node but at same depth level is selected. The refresh event is associated with selectedRowChanged event of service that populates the tree.  My problem is that refresh event gets fired only when node at different level in tree is selected. If I select same level different node, then it does not get fired. Any idea how to solve this? RegardsSatish

We have a number of wtDocuments that require "No Content" & others that require a template to be selected. Our users continually make the mistake of not selecting the template, and complain why we can't make "No Content" as a default for documents.

How can I vertically split a surface to draft in opposite directions? I have a feature that intersects a surface that creates an undercut if I pull the whole surface. I need to draft up to the feature and split it so the area above it will pull in the opposite direction. Is there a way to copy sheets from one drawing to another drawing? (It's really deleted sheets from an old revision into a newer revision of the same file, but if we need to do it outside of a workspace we've no problem with that.)This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I have been running a fair amount of analyses in Mechanism lately and the average time it takes to run these ranges anywhere from 1.5 to as long as 6 hours. What I don't understand is my CPU usage rarely goes above 15% and I have plenty of RAM (32gb) to spare.  Are there any config options to make this process a little less painful in terms of run times?  Do I need to upgrade my PC?  What are the usual bottlenecks when running analyses in Mechanism?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I am having trouble getting believable results from simulate while analyzing a simple spreader beam.I am new to simulate, so I don't know if I am constraining and/or loading it correctly. Any advise would be appreciated.The beam is very simple. It is just a piece of 1" thick plate 147" long by 12" wide with 1-3/8" holes spaced 6" apart along both long edges for rigging.2 pieces of 2" x 4" x 1/4" rectangular tubing will be welded to the sides for torsional support. See attached picture for a visual.For the worst case scenario, the beam is to be picked at the top center hole with the load hung from the two outer most bottom holes.It needs to hold 25,000 lbs, but so far my results have shown that it will not. Not even close. I don't believe these results because the man who suggested the design has been rigging for decades and would build this thing and use it without a second thought. Hi All,We have recently updated our approval process to include publishing a viewable at a state change as we have the status (In Work, Under Review or Released) in our drawing border. This means that if, during the approval process, annotations are saved, they are not visible on the "default" viewable (screenshot from the "Content" tab in Windchill below):I can manually go into this tab and select the version with the annotation to be the default (last in the list above), but this is onerous. Can it be set to occur automatically, somehow? Is there a line of could that runs an if function to search for an annotation? Hello all,I am trying to import a large number of historical sensor data.I am using a self written service to import stream entries from csv files.The largest csv file has 2,6 million rows. During the import, the service takes some minutes and the execution was successful. But counting the stream entries returns just 2,1 million entries.I got the same issue by deleting stream entries. Using the "PurgeStreamEntries" serivce on the stream to delete all 2,1 million entries returns a successful result but it just deleting 1/5 of all stream entries.Could it be a tomcat memory issue?I am running my test system with max 8GB memory for tomcat.

helloIs there an analysis in creo or some addon that can simulate if a component is possible to assemble without interferences with others parts in real assembling process?E.g. I have an assembly (machine). and now need to assemble a part into the assembly.
