It turns out that I want to plot a root locus.It turns out that I have to solve the equation [1+ K G(s)* H(s)= 0] for each K.For a given K I can do it with solve: for example:G(s):=10/(s^2+2*s+10) and H(s):=5/(s+5) for a k:=3 gives me the following result.R:[-7.75;0.375-5.07i;0.375+5.07i]how do I get the same within a program by varying k by different values? 

In a Creo Illustrate Figure, is it possible to have a section view only displayed in the inset? I do not want the section view on the main parent model in the figure view, only the section view.

Hello Community, In our ThingWorx Mashup, we have implemented a date range selection feature. When a user selects a date range and confirms, an Excel file containing the corresponding entries is generated and downloaded.Each entry includes approximately seven photos, which are stored in the File Repository. I would like to enhance this functionality by allowing users to select a date range and download all the associated photos in a single step. However,  there can be a large number of photos (e.g., 100+), I would prefer to provide them as a ZIP file to streamline the process. My question is:Is it possible to implement this functionality within a ThingWorx Mashup? If so, what would be the best approach to achieve this?Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Thank you.

Hello,I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.23I would like to programmatically create Variant Specification. As far as I can see in the documentation such customization should be possible.e.g.Sample Code for VariantLoadNavCriteriaBean API but the problem is I cannot findVariantSpecLoaderHelper.service.loadVariantSpecs(beans, partConfigSpecBeans, atoConfigSpecBeans);The classes for 'VariantSpecLoaderHelper' are not present in the Windchill installation and I do have license and I am able to manually create Variant Specification in the system.Can you help me to resolve this issue?

I have stored few files in thingworx repository. And also iam giving download link to download files. Customer only wanted to see files in creo view by clicking the link provided in thingworx mashup.

Version: Windchill 12.1 The goal is to compare what licenses are in use, and what the user have.To do that I'm planning to compare what is assigned to them to the list from the Detailed License Usage from license management report. But I only could find a way to get that for users who are directly assigned to a license group. For those who were assigned to a new group and then this group was assigned to a profile group, I couldn't manage to get a report on what license they have. I'm trying to to do that with the business report. I've looked the QML repositories but still haven't found a way to get those indirectly assignment. Does anyone know a how to have that info?

The CAD data is saved on shared drive. When we open the drawings and click on Table Menu, it shows the spinning logo initially and creo goes in not responding mode for around 20-30 min. I am using the Creo 2 M120. I have tested this issue with M070 and it shows the same behavior. This happens on Dell and HP hardware.   Any idea or suggestion will be helpful.   Thanks in Advance.

Hello,   I am facing a weird behavior with grid. I am population grid with an infotable, I call it 'data_IT' . 'data_IT' is a property of a thing 'Thing_A'   In the mashup, I associate the 'data_IT'  to the grid using the service getproperties. and i check 'Automatically update values when...' so, when a row is updated,  it's replicated automatically in my mashup.   Everything works fine until I added a new field of type 'Image'. The automatic update stop working ! When i remove the image field, it's works fine again!! Is there any solution for this bheavior ?   Thank you for you help

How can you propagate layer status of a subassembly into a parent assembly. In other words, when a certain display selection for layers is made in the subassembly, I want the layer display to appear the same way when this subassembly is assembled in its parent assembly. Even with the "propagate status" checked in the layer tool menu, this is not working as expected. It used to work fine in Creo 4, I'm currently using Creo 8.

Hi,We have just updated our TEST System to 10.2 M030 CPS10 (only released today) and I am trying to compile the CATIA V5 Abstraction dll's for the WGM.I have successfully compiled dll's for CATIA versions 18 to 24, but version 25 fails with the error saying "ERROR - Abstraction or loader files don't exist"It seems a bit strange when setting up the compilation environment as the CATVBTsetup command does not show a Visual Studio checkbox, only showing an Eclipse/IBM Rational Applications one, which I think is indicative that something is wrong (presumably with the CATIA / API / RADE) software - but I have tried this with both GA and SP3 versions of the CATIA software and get the same issue. In which case, others should be seeing this problem too.I have logged a call with PTC, but was wondering if anyone else had seen this?RgdsGary

During Assembly when I pick surface -Surface it should be Coincident automatically not Normal. PTC needs to fix this OR let me know the benefit. This is very inconvenient additional multiple clicks which are not needed.
