Helloi have an equation. lets saybut if i have less arguments i want to do a different operation, lets say:(of course defining the expression like this will say that it was already previously defined)I dont want to create a new equation with different name.   how can I modify my original equation to understand that the missing argument is null  the closest i have reached is using an IF operator and checking if the other arguments are 0something likeif z = 0 and y = 0     return xif z = 0     return x * yelse     return x * y * z then I need to wrinte something like this --> F(5, 5, 0)if the ecuation is more complex i dont want to write 0 on the argument i would like just to writeF(5, 5) and the equation should understand that Z is missing so just do x * y hope you could help me  

With my previous student's license on MathCAD prime 7 I was able to use MAthCAD on my Laptop and on my Desktop Pc. Now with my new MathCAD prime 10 license for this year, which looks the same, it is not possible anymore. When I activated the license last year, it was possible to just use it on both my devices, but now when I try to do this it tells me that I have reached the maximum number of license requests available for my product type. Is this because of MathCAD 10 or was this generally changed?

Hello I was wondering if I may be doing something incorrectly or if anyone else has ran into similar issues.I am attempting to modify existing SimpReps in a Creo assembly. When I go through the process there is no change to the SimpRep in the Creo assembly. We have suspected flags/links to Test Sets and whenever there is a change in any system requirement it triggers a suspected flag (red color) shown below.This kind of "Suspected flags" are visible in other test sets as well. We want to clear all the Suspected flags in one go with bulk/mass edit. Is there any possible way to do it? 

Hello All, I am attempting to find the percentage deviation of the calculated output.However, in Mathcad Prime, the calculation using matrix indices is producing incorrect results.What could be causing this issue? In the attached screenshot, the output calculation in green font is correct and was done manually, while the output calculation in red font is incorrect and was done using the matrix indices formula.I have attached the .mcdx file with my calculations for your reference.I would greatly appreciate a quick resolution to this problem. Thanks in Advance.   

Solving ode's I have run into this error before: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Return-Value-of-this-function-must-match-the-problem-size/m-p/727295/highlight/true#M195799 I managed to get around it by switching solvers from Radau to BDF, but I still do not know what the message means and changing solvers does not work this time. As shown in the attached (MCAD 11 - converted from MCAD14) worksheet, the denominator of dv does get small but never reaches zero because of the damping factor eta (Increasing eta does help but does not eliminate the problem. and eta should by ~10^{-12} on physical grounds. Setting p0 = 0 in the denominator does eliminate the problem,  although I do not see why. So, it does seem like the denominator is the problem, but, if so, I would have expected to get a "calculation does not converge" message. Tried playing around with other parameters to no avail. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Creo Parametric 8. When an unlocked dimension is toggled to lock, the dimension automatically changes accuracy to be 2 decimal places, and also appears to round the original value to the rounded value. This is causing large unintended geometry changes. Is there a config.pro setting or other setting that can be modified to fix this? The list of options I've already modified is below: default_dec_placeslive_dim_precision_decimals (appears to have worked for linear dimensions but not radii)default_ang_decimal_places

I am using CREO 10.  How do I change the dimensions (shown in red boxes) to be half (like the second example)?  I have looked in parameters, played with the bottom witness line, but past examples are not working.

Hi,I'm writing to this support to understand if and how could be possible to reduce the usage of CPU when a big configuration of Kepware is running.The configuration it is composed by almost 80 device configured to query each 10 seconds 2000 Modbus registers for each device, values are archived in a Microsoft SQL Server through Data Logger triggered each 10 seconds.Actually only 2 devices ramps the CPU usage to 10-12% for the server_runtime.exe almost and I don't know what happen when I enable all the 80 devices, how can I reduce to the max the usage of CPU.Which are the information that you need to support me in this issue?Let me know and I can provide the screenshots or logs or config... KEPServer EX V6.11.718.0Modbus TCP/IP Ethernet V6.11.718.0Data Logger PlugIn V6.11.718.0 Best RegardsAlb

Are suspected flags/badge visible in the excel when we do excel roundtrip export of a tracker/tracker item ?

I have simple SQL query: SELECT [column 1], [column 2], [column3] ...   FROM [table] WHERE [column1]= 31. In my case, conditions are chaning, sometimes I have no WHERE part of querry, sometimes I have 1 column, sometimes 3, depending on operators behaviour.So in query, I added variable filter as parameter, and make a querry like: SELECT [column 1], [column 2], [column3] ...   FROM [table] [[filter]] and filter would generated by external service and can be empty if all data needed, but can be also WHERE [column1]=31, or any other combination of WHERE. Unfortunatelly, no matter if I keep filter value empty, or I do put there my WHERE conditions, I receive   "Unable to Invoke Service ... on ... : Execute Query failed. Please check Database logs for more details."Have tried to call this service manually, have tried to call by other service, changed name of variable to be sure it's not forbidden word... no changes.  Have tried with filter as both, String and Text t

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: We have 2 use cases, the first one is creating some kind of costing BOM, in which we set the quantity to a negative number, so that we can calulate the price based on the 'default' price. In another case we would like to have the unit of the 'raw material' and it's unit in the BOM, so for a certain profile or tube we would like to have the length in meters instead of just each.Description: How to handle non positive/whole-integer quantities in combination with Creo Parametric or other CAD application? What's the best practice? Every component of an assembly coming from CAD has each as unit. But then we can't change the unit to m or 'as needed' to change the quantity to a non-integer value or even a negative value. It's possible but then you first have to remove the occurrences to be able to change the unit/quantity. How should this be handled? Better to do this using MPMLink and made from? I’m using the exact same commands from the PDF to write it in my own worksheet, but I’m running into multiple errors and mistakes that I can't seem to understand.I’ve attached both the original PDF, my Mathcad worksheet, and error screenshots for reference. Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: As a developer I need to figure out which versions of 3rd-party libs are being used in different versions of WindchillDescription: It used to be that you could download the Software Matrix for Windchill and in that document read about the software components bundled with Windchill. You could for instance see which version of commons-codec that was included. For version 13 this no longer sees to be the case.Does anyone know if this is still possible?
