If i create a part(.pkg) i get a geo resolution of 1.0E-6 mm.But when i import a part to creo, for example in .step, always get a geo reolution arround 1.6E-2 mm.The company that i work for as a module that allows me to compare the active part to the database, and returns me the part with more similarity. But this only work if a the part has a geo resolution of 1.0E-6 mm.Is any way to work arround this? i want to use this module with imported parts, but i cant becouse i have a geo res of 1.6E-2 mm. Creo Elements Direct 20.2.1.0

Is there a way to show offset lines in exploded views in Creo View 5.1?  The Exploded view seems to publish fine, but the offset lines do not show up even when all construction geometry features are checked in the config settings (see below).

I have a dynamic repeater which has checkboxes. I also have a nonrepeater "All" checkbox that I want to use to check or uncheck all items in the repeater. Clicking each repeater item turns on/off model parts.  Is there a way to get data from the repeater and do something like "for all items in repeater, check box". It looks like all the items are just called "checkbox-1". Hi all, By reading the WRS manual I can see that some tables can be expanded: CR's can be expanded to show AffectedObjects.   /Windchill/servlet/odata/v5/ChangeMgmt/ChangeRequests?$select=Description,AffectedSystem,LastModified,Name,Number&$filter=startswith(Name, 'Foo-')&$count=false&$expand=AffectedObjects   Also the manual shows these available to expand in a Parts query:   $expand=Uses/$ref $expand=AlternatePart $expand=Alternates($expand=AlternateFor $expand=Alternates($expand=Alternate) $expand=Alternates($expand=AlternatePart $expand=SubstitutePart $expand=PartDocAssociations($expand=RelatedCADDoc) $expand=PartDocAssociations($expand=RelatedPart)   These are shown in example code. Create a views folder in the C:\CB-2.2.2\tomcat\webapps\cb\WEB-INF\ path to register a .jsp file to that folder2. Deploy code to use as a custom controller in the C:\\CB-2.0.2\tomcat\\webapps\cb\\WEB-INF\\lib folder as a JAR file3. Add settings for my-applicationContext.xm in /tomcat/conf/server.xml and /tomcat/webapps/cb/WEB-INF/classesIf you call the .jsp file through the controller (for example, http://localhost:80/cb/custom/myCreateProject) in the browser, you will get a 404 error. You will be wondering how to set up the class file to be used as the controller and where to locate and use the .jsp file.

I have a requirement to format a mashup widget's tooltip with certain information on separate lines in the tooltip.  I'm using the value display widget but being able to do this with other widgets would also be useful. It looks like chart widgets already have this capability as described in https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx/Help/Mashup_Builder/Widgets/CreatingCustomChartTooltips.html# Example image from the link:The link describes built-in variables available for the charts (like #title# and #newline#), but these do not seem accessible to other widgets. Is there actually a way to get a similar tooltip result for other types of widgets, or is this a new wish list item for ThingWorx?Currently developing on Thingworx 9.5.2. 

Martin,   I am trying to setup IFX on a network.  I believe I have everything setup correctly but get a similar error to the one above.  Using your solution and running IFX through the creo load point, everything works fine just like in this post.  The problem I have is when I point the IFX configuration PATH_ABS_LIBRARY to my network location I get the hole_com.cpp error.  Can you help with this?

I am developing a sheet to calculate section properties of steel sections using Mathcad Prime 10, however I find the integration gives zero value for web thickness less than a number for my specific example.  see below screenshot and attached file. The Ay gives correct area, however the Ax doesn't. I have tried different values for tw which gives a correct result when it is larger than a certain number. For example in the I section if changed to 30mm, the integral gives correct answer.  Appreciate any help please. 

When you select a single cell (you can't select the whole row) for an item in the list, and then right click and select "delete record", the resulting pull-down has all entries greyed out.I saw someone else had the same question on 3/30/2015, and had gotten no answer.

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: I am trying to create a report showing all Change Notices together with their associated Change Requests. The CR's are associated in 2 different ways: - Associated Process Objects - Associated Reference Objects I want to create an overview were both associated types CR's are shown. If possible it would be nice to show the association type in the overview as wellDescription: I can't get the report to include both link types in one overview.If I create two reports: 1 for the Change Process Link and 1 for the Change Reference Link and merge the two in excel I get wat I want but I think this should be possible in 1 report....  I also found out about the option "Outer Joint Against" you need to set this correct to also show CN's with no CR's associated to it. So when importing large step assemblys as parts there will always be lots of errors and it will take hours.If its not a complete faliure meaning  "could not construct geometry",  there will at least always be transitions between parts that doesnt work,, and  the model will be a mix of solids and surfaces and very heavy to use.But when importing step as assembly keeping the parts intact as they were make from the source. There is almost never a problem.Is there no way to import as part and make the individual parts as bodies so Creo doesnt have to construct new impossible geometry ?For example Assembly with 10 parts will be Part with 10 bodys.

I'm working in Creo 11 and I have a fairly simple part, but I was trying to demonstrate a few concepts.   I'd like to have a family table of a part.  This part has 4 dimensions that will vary between nominal, MMC and LMC with the tolerance being a parameter.   I was hoping to write an expression that the MMC part was nominal + &tol and the LMC part was nominal - &tol, and I'd like to change the tolerance as a parameter.  I've used the excel table in the family table - but I wanted to verify that I'm not missing a better option.

Creo 10 I have been tasked with providing restricted values for parameters based on my material selection.Example, if I select 1018 CRS, I only want my "finish" parameter restricted values to be powdercoat / black oxide If I select 6061 aluminum, I want my "finish" parameter restricted to clear anodize / black anodize. My 1st attempt, your able to create material parameters for individual materials. However, if you create restricted values for material parameters, the restricted values do not save with the material file. If this worked each material would be able to have its very own set of "Finish" parameter values and this is all I'm after. My 2nd attempt, was to have each material having its own special parameter. EX.... 1018_Finish, 6061_Finish. Then have a restricted variable file grab the appropriate information. This worked, however I need my drawings to be populated with a &Finish. I need to generate a table with the styler that will grow according to the count of a specific element within the document.  For example, the table with header (Column1, Column2, Column3) will have 2 rows if the content of element  EnactAuthority has 2 Identification elements within it.  It is not a problem for me to count the elements using an XPath predicate.  It's more in the way of injecting the content of the Identification elements content inside that table that is my issue. XML content : My target table withing styler : The content of the 2 rows will come from Identification/LongTitle, Identification/Id and Identification/EnablingIdentification/Ref You have been so far very helpful, once again thanks for your help community !

Trying to get Creo View 11.0 to publish on our Windchill server. Proeworker will not start automatically, but that is minor as I start it manually and then disconnect from the server. The real issue is the 'generated' PDF and thumbnail are blank and the worker log says they were not generated, even though WVS Monitor says Job Successful. Checked the error in the worker log and it points to Article - CS161913 - Creo View Adapters: Failed to generate drawing output in PDF format when publishing a Creo Parametric drawing file Removed Creo and Creo View and reinstalled on Friday. Ran the recipe editor and set it up for PDF. Still fails to publish. Ran Proepublish per the CS article and it generates the PDF in the CVA setup folder. This is a Windchill 13.0.2.3 installation with Creo 11.0.3.0 and CVA 11.0.0.0. I have Windchill 13.0.2.3 running with Creo 9.0.9.0 and CVA (.0 on another machine just fine. These 2 machines are not connected. Anyone have any ideas before I open a call with P
