Hello,Lets say I am drawing a washer using a revolve. I draw a rectangle above the axis of rotation. The only way I can dimension the washer seems to be by dimensioning to the axis. I feel dumb for asking this one but I cannot find it. I am trying to move the location of a shown datum like "B" shown below. It is not an annotation feature but a shown datum. I can change it's anchor point of surface, flip direction, but can't move it. Eons ago this may have been move attach. Hello,I have a helical sweep and a swept blend that show up in my drawings regardless of what layers I hide. Ok, so I have a section of flexible hose with free length running along a set of offset datum points. Afterwards, I wanted to make segments of the hose straight. However, when I go to the environment button and switch a segment or two to straight, nothing changes. Tried regenerating, but no luck. Does anyone know if there's a way to search for multiple part numbers in Creo View (.pvz) at the same time?Yes, you can use the find tool (binoculars icon) for individual part numbers but it would be nice if you could search for multiple part numbers at the same time. Something like comma separated would be ideal (partnumber_x,partnumber_y,etc). I've seen other program where you can use a regex format (partnumber_x|partnumber_y|etc).I want to avoid multiple searches (and all the button clicks that go with them), when I can easily define a search string ahead of time for multiple parts.Is there any other way to do this in Creo View? Maybe a script perhaps?In essence, I'm looking for a quick way to filter a large structure and select only some of the parts.I have Creo View/Lite 3.0Any help is appreciated. Is the Category field somehow constrained to only be available to Segments and Nodes? I have a new type I've created that can be associated with test results and I want to add a category pick field to it. Do I need to make a new field for this?

Hi everyone. I need to add lead weights to the holes in the solid models. How do I add physical weights to it? Do I simply extrude up and change it's properties? I'm pretty confused. I've attached a picture of the holes for reference.Thanks in advance!

Hi Folks,We typically use EPS files for publishing documents to PDF. However, we also produce RTF versions for some users to work on new versions.The issue is when rendering to RTF, EPS files are only linked to the resulting RTF - user need to manually break the link to embed them in the resulting file.I was hoping to eliminate the need for this manual step by having Arbortext convert the EPS files to PNG or JPG so that they embed automatically.I use the following command prior to rendering to RTF:set graphicrtftransform=epsngHowever, the resulting images are very poor in quality. I have EPS files that are 400-500K resulting in 1-2k PNG files. Are there any settings for the image converter that can be tweaked to produce slightly larger files that are a better resolution?I have noticed the same issue with HTML output too. Hi, i suppose my problem has a easy solution, but I cant find it.I define a simple operation k(B), I got the results but by some circunstance I got a solution that I need to change, so I want to create a new matrix with the modified results and call it back to use it on an equation but I wrong results... (image attached)..As you can see in the image, when I select the new matrix, I can not change the Math Properties (Tab).Hope you can help me.

When I switched to Creo 3.0 from Creo 2.0, my colors all seem very dark. When I render something bright yellow, it shows up as a very dark yellow. I have an excel spreadsheet of a little over 2000 objects that need to be added to the affected objects table of a change request. Does anyone know of a way to do this that doesn't involve searching for and adding 2000 individual items? Is there some way to "mass add" part numbers, maybe by copy/pasting them from somewhere? As you can see in attached image, PTC did a BIG regression with Windchill 10.2For more then four years we have created SAP equipment (MPMTooling in Windchill) with Manufacturing Resource Explorer, in conjunction with PartsLink for further classification.With 10.2 classification attributes are no more displayed and, even though we have open a call to support, the answer we got is “No plans to fix”.I’m thrilled!PTC take away a functionality we use to create more than 10,000 equipment, we pay to PTC a fee for maintenance with FIVE zero and the answer was “No plans to fix”.A question for PTC: WHAT WE ARE PAYING FOR?For PTC Product Manager: how can we solve this BIG problem?

Hey everyone,I use Creo 3.0 (student version). I want to add an image in a plan. when I go to View> image, then there is no " Add" option to insert pictures.What should I do? !!
