HI all,Is there a way to automatically create reference designators for a part with QTY>1, in the WTPart structure?Iam checking in a CReo 2.0 assembly to windchill , WTParts are created as per the CAD structure, but the reference designators are missing in the WTPart (parent part).I looked up the preferences and there seems to be none.Iam using Windchill 10.2 and Creo 2.0Thanks & RegardsHari

Dear All,I want to make a contour plot from a Matrix 2D which I can do, but the axes X and Y are labeled as 1, 2, 3, and so on. How can I change it to represent the real values?Just to clear the question. The matrix is the result of a Heat transfer analysis on which each cell represent an (x,y) position with the value representing the temperature on that position.All the best

Did PTC decide that Mathcad 11 single user edition is not going to be registered online anymore?Does PTC indicate that Mathcad 11 is not a valid product, or are they saying that they do not offering anymore technical support but Mathcad 11 can be loaded on a computer and then activated?Paul Unmack, PE- ME, CSE

I am changing from Creo Elements Pro to Creo 3. I am recently testing the IDF process. In the assembly we have the ECAD Hint going to our component library. After running the EMN and EMP and getting a assembly of a PCB. I now try to save the assembly it does not save and it stops at a part in the library (for my test I saved as a C3 part with Family table) which does not save my whole assembly. If I open up the part and save with family tables and go back to my PCB it now saves.The issue is in my test environment I only kept 2 library parts. But in a normal condition we would have over 2K of parts.Is there a configuration option that I may have missed from CEP to C3 that help save parts or something else?Best regards and appreciate any information on this.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. hello,   I would need a help with autoranaming exported dxf files according to two parameters. The first part of the name would be name of the top level assembly (for ex.473-4445) and the second one a local parameter of the exported part (for ex. Is it possible to define the file name for an HTML report?

I have a global attribute I created on a Change Request called KPC. I want to see the value of this attribute on a Change Notice. I also need to use the value of this attribute in a workflow for routing.

When creating a new CAD document in creo, how can I change Windchill settings so the number field does not auto populate where .prt is not appended?Per below example: I created a new creo CAD file, file name is 46689090.prt.But the number field will append the .prt to it, how can I make it come in with the just the 8-digit number?

On a Drawing, I go to File > Prepare > Drawing Proprieties > [change] Detail Options > Under "These options control leaders", and change default_leader_arrow_style from automatic to slashBut everytime I make a dimension annotation, Creo insist on putting a goddam arrow instead of the slash. So I have a document soft type that I put in for our test reports. I was wondering if there was any way to change it so that it acts like a Reference Document. The reason why is that we want to connect it to some wtParts as reference type documents and it will only allow us to do Describe By Document. This document will not change when the wtPart changes and that is why we want it to be a reference document. Does anyone know if I can do what I want?Thank you,Brian

Hello, I'm having a problem solving a Given Find cycle with vectors. I'm trying to plot T vs. X1 and T vs. Y1. Mathcad gives me back always the same value for Y1 and incorrect values for T. Using minerr I don't get better results. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I have noticed several issues with rich content in Integrity. I am using 10.5 with no hot fixes though. Have there been fixes for rich content in newer versions of Integrity? I am not trying to resolve each individual issue right now but overall it is difficult to work with rich text in the client.

Trying to test Creo 3.0 M030, but can't get my current licensing to work. Currently using Creo 2.0 M090 but but installed Creo 3 for testing purposes. Just need to know what to do to get my license updated to allow Creo 3 and Creo 2 to be used.I get an error message of "License file does not support this version" and I don't remember having to update my license file before, but it has been a while since we jumped to Creo 2... Opened a support case and haven't even received an email back or had the case assigned yet so figured I would ask here.Thanks,Erik

I have models of cloth covers that need to have different edge profiles for different assemblies.
