How do I install MKS Integrity 2009 GUI client and PTC Integrity 10.6 GUI on the same Windows 7 workstion.I recently upgraded one of our servers from 2009 to 10.6 and want to test it in the GUI client.Thank you,Dan

I installed MKS server and MKS Client on the machine. I started the Integrity service but in the server log I am getting below error:Unable to startup Security Service: Service mks:name=ServerTimeZone not started due to errors: Timezones and/or daylight savings settings don't match. Database: America/New_York, server: UTC” Can anyone provide suggestion on it .

Since upgrading from AE 6.0 to AE 6.1 we have noticed that when cleaning the Windchill workspace the objects are not removed from the AE 6.1 browser workspace. The objects remain listed under the workspace name. We have to go into the browser and select "clean workspace". It appears that the both Windchill workspaces and AE 6.1 are no longer in sync. If The users do not clean the AE 6.1 workspace, they receive the following message when they try to check out an object. "The currently active workspace contains an out of date version of the document that you requested to open. Do you want to open the out-of-date version in the workspace?" Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a solution?

We are going to use a reverse proxy between the Desk Top Integration client and the Windchill server. Therefore we want to know if DTI only use port 443 to communicate with Windchill.When we ask helpdesk, they say that DTI uses port 445, but if we close port 445 DTI still works fine.

Hi all! it is a basic question, but i have a problem with my projcet T-T How can i painting at once? for example, If i made a 12-tooth gear and wanna painting green color, i have to click all the sections including curve and boundary(it might be more than 60 clicks).   No matter how i find a similar painting function, i can't found it T-T Could you help me? Is there any way to get a progress of an attachment download when im extractattachments is used? Basically I am trying to find out when an attachment has finished downloading. Do any of the different response types give this? (IResponse, ICreationResponse, IActionResponse, IBaseResponse, IViewResponse)I am using the API for Integrity 10.5.

Hi All,We currently have our Windchill set up to prevent duplicate part numbers from being created. I'm looking to further evolve our systems to remove the need for an external part number database altogether. Are any of the following achievable with Windchill 10.1, please:Preventing duplicate part descriptions;Setting a custom field for an abbreviated description that can also prevent duplicates;Setting both fields up to prevent inputs over a certain length.Many thanks,Andy

Hello!   I have encountered a problem with mirror feature ( I'm using Creo 2.0 M150 ).I've got a plate with a simple hole on it.   Now I mirror this hole over plane right - dependent copy.   Everything works as I would expect it. But if I now edit the definition of a hole from simple to standard hole the change is not regenerated.   End result:     Is anyone else having the same problem? Is there a config setting to make Placement constraint Coincident the default as Normal or distance seems to be the current defaults? Taking time to drag a part and orient it prior to placement in a large assembly is not efficient. I have two users who are reporting that when the client is not maximized, F5 is not refreshing the window. When it is maximized, F5 works just fine. This doesn't happen on either of my computers. They are using Windows 7. I am using 7 and 8.1. Has anyone seen this behavior and found a fix for it?We are running Integrity 10.5 with no hotfixes.

Hey all...quick question. I have a small composite clip for which I am doing a 2D Plane Stress analysis. I have cut the clip in half and have fixed it at one end. The other end is being forced to deflect 0.030". The analysis runs great, but now I would like to know how to calculate the 'equivalent force' that would be required to produce that given deflection. I tried creating a measure but didn't really know what to do with it once it was created. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.   The file clip_main is the whole clip. Why is security marking grayed out. I added two symbols to a model and only one can be chosen as a security marking. The other is grayed out. I even removed the one that worked and I still can't select the other.

When I try to break a lock or drop a member I get the following error:"The Source server cannot communicate with the Integrity server because the Integrity server version is too old. Please contact your Source administrator."Why? I am the administrator.

Hello,I am using the solve block Find function to find the two unknown from two given equationIf my guess value is not close enough to the correct value it give a error message "The variable is undefined"Please refer the PDF attached.I have a curious question why to define the range of the unknown just above the Find function if function can not use them to find the correct values.May be I am thinking wrong !I have attached the Math CAD file when opened please input the same as referred to the attached "INPUT DATA" so to have the similar results.Is there a way to instruct the Math CAD Find function to do the increment between the given range instead of guess value as I am finding it difficult Because for every problem I have to enter the close enough guess value to get the right results.BR,J.Randeep

hiim very new to this mathcad programming stuff.What im trying to do is since im working on a proyect in which i have to program complex equations im trying to use mathcad to simplyfy those equations for me and just programming the most simple expression with all variables so that the user can input those values.Maybe im doing something wroing, i dont know. I have Creo 2.0 M080 and won't be upgrading for a bit. In the mean time, I have problems with parts lists that are taller than the height of my page. If I use paginate, I have to clear and reset the extent every time I regenerate. This is fine for tables on the same page, but tables spanning multiple pages really have issues. I have an idea for a workaround for the time being by adding additional parts lists tables and filtering out what the other lists show. I would like to use rpt.index to filter sections at a time; for instance I tried to use &rpt.index<28 in one and &rpt.index>28 in the other to imitate a single paginated table. Hello everyone, first of all, thank you very much for the help! Here is the problem: I am doing some modeling works for my client by using creo and saved the file as a copy in "creo view ed" type (it is an assebled model). I sent the "ed" type file in email to my client, but when they opened it, there is only model tree and when try to active the model tree, there shows a red cross in front of the step. something like this,   I am thinking if it is because there is related files missing, so the model can not be showed. My teacher suggested me just save all the "prt/asm" files as a backup and send them to the client, I did, and this time it works, but what is bothering me is that there are too many files if I saved as backup, it is not convenient for the client to download them all.   So I would like to ask if there is any other solutions that I can save my model as a more simple file type that the client can also open it successfully?This thread is inactive and closed by th
