Hello all!I am working on a problem in MathCAD 15.0. I am Trying to find the solution to a system of inequations I am using the given...find() blockI have successfully defined my constants, functions and constraints and at the end of the block I get some result which is partially good with the stress on partially.I have several constraints and some of them mgiht be contradictive. I was prepared that the set of constraints that I have defined could yield a "no solution found" but the solver gave me a solution instead which does not fulfill all constraints.Unfortunately I cannot share my work but this attached picture demonstrates my problem quite well.My questions are therefore: What determines which constraints are kept and which will be violated? (I tried moving the contraint around to see if the order matters but I had no luck)Is there a way to control the priority of contraints? Lets say instead of sin(x) I wanted to have a function square(x) where the function "square" would be the equivalent of x=y^2. Thus typing in a = square(2) would result in a value of 4 for "a".If no one knows how to do this maybe I will fill out an enhancement request for it. When modeling, it would be helpful to see dashed lines (or axes, something else) where the standard planes (Side, Top, Front) intersect. Hi all,I have plotted a angle of the function Omega(x,q). I want to be able to create highlighted contour lines at any given value. For example, the contour plot typically displays angle values from ~60 to 0 degrees and I want to clearly show the 30 degree line. I may want to show the 32.5 or 4.2 degree or whatever I choose. Is it possible in MathCAD 14? Thanks for any help.

Is anyone running this combination? We are running Windchill 10.2 M020 CPS10, but after setting the RMI property we still cannot use Java 8 as it blocks the app.

In some cases when we are using cutaways (local sections) in drawing views, we require to add a new note for the view showing the scale. However the view scale in that note will not be parametric. Is there any way to associate the drawing view scale parameter inside a non parametric note ?? Hi, I would like to restrict the users to use only one config.pro file which is standrad. All, I was able in previous versions to have Creo load with all the datum planes, axis, points, cs, etc turned OFF and the users have to turn them on if they want to see them (this is how my users prefer their setup). I believe I controlled this with the config setings for each set to NO (i.e. display_planes NO, display_axes NO, etc.). Now in Creo 3.0 M030 (also in M020) if those are set to NO, then they do as they did previously with them turned off, but now i am UNABLE to turn them ON at all (the icons in the tab and icon bar on the screen are grayed out and I cannot do anything with them until I change those setting back to YES but then it loads them to be ON when I start my Creo session. I think I have played enough with those config settings, verified my current session config has the right settings, compared both my config.pro and config.sup to make sure they are not fighting each other. Maybe this is just something nobody else uses. Maybe it is a bug. Maybe it is a known change

I would like to eliminate superposed portion of two parts assembled together. For example I would comebine a rotor and the control volume which looks like a cylinder. Then they will be superposed by aligning central axis of two parts and constraining top datum planes of two parts to be equal. In other words, the assembly will be looks like a rotor emersed in control volume. Our school has got Microsoft 2012 virtual server standard R2, and am trying to install the floating license server. Tried to install using the instructions provided: Download media 2. I have a format made and use it everyday, but for a multi-sheet drawing is there anyway when you create page two you do not have to input repeating blocks. For example I do not want to create formats for all the companies we deal with, but would like to somehow fill out page one of the drawing and then on page two have the company the drawing is for not have to be typed again and again for every page. I just downloaded Creo 3.0 and set up the license I got. It worked all fine until the point where I had to install the Creo parts.I am using a two hard-drive setup on my PC. I have a fast SSD for Windows and a normal HDD for everything else. The SSD is almost full.The problem is that Creo wants to install itself to the SSD (path is C:\) but, as I said, it's full. The Installation manager won't let me switch the directory where Creo has to be installed at (I want it to be in D:\....).Is there a way to change the installation directory?I already tried typing in the path manually, but it didn't help. I also tried running the installation as admin, but also no success.I hope someone can help me

Integrity will not allow access by an Admin user to edit any Requirements Documents. I have checked that server is LDAPing correctly, that permissions are OK at global, project and type level. What else should I investigate?

I have a feeling this a bad question, but can someone please explain to me the difference in prescribed temperature and a heat load? Other than the units involved. It seems to me they are both applying heat in one unit or another to a object. Why not just have both of them under the same button, with the ability to change the units. Thanks for the help.

Hello, I am a new Creo convert from Solidworks. I am trying to better understand Creo's thermal analysis. I am looking for a new more informative definition of "prescribed temperature" in Creo. I am running a analysis on a cattle brander to see the heat transfer from the logo heated end up through the shaft to the handle. To see how long I need to make the shaft. Can someone please verify I am setting it up correctly. Right now I am applying a heat load to the logo end of around 650 F. I am then applying a convective boundary condition on the rest of the part with a convective coefficient of 25 w/m^2K, and a bulk temperature 75 F. Then I am applying a prescribed temperature at the end where your hand holds it of 75 F simulating the end where there is no temperature change. What do you guys think? I would like to add Creo designated parameters to show up the column display in Windchill. I have found where to add the parameters in Manage Global Attributes screen in the Type and Attribute Managment Utility. What else do I need to do?

In Wildfire 5.0, I have created a drawing Format and applied it to a lot of drawings, but on a few of them the fonts in the title block get hosed up when I export it to PDF. Somehow, the fonts are 3 times as large as they should be. For the life of me, I can't determine what is causing this to happen. There must be something in the model that is causing the issue because even if I recreate the drawing, the problem persists.If I change the format to an older one, the problem goes away. This particular format has a table with parameter codes like &description in it. If I make a note on the drawing and export it to PDF, the parameter code is generated fine. But, the parameter codes in the title block table are 3 times too large.Has anyone ever seen this issue? Hello!I am faced with a math problem using a system of several inequations. A colleague suggested to use MathCAD´s numeric solver for the problem.I am new to MathCAD and fell that I am making a silly mistake but I can not find what exactly.I would like to simplify my equations by defining some values but this in turn will mess with the solver.I have attached a very simple example of what I am trying to do.Please tell me my silly mistake so I can move on to solve my real problem Thank you!
