Hello all, I am using Creo 2.0 (M030). We are working in Imperial. I have all drawing with two sheets. one for all part information and second for machine i.e., scale 1:1. for machine drawing I want to set origin of part to 0,0. I tried using bellow steps but didn't help. I select part>RMC>PROPERTIES it opens 'Drawing View'. In Drawing iew I select Origin and set X=0.00 and Y=0.00. We are exporting all drawings in dxf format. In dxf file while I am checking origin to 0,0 its off on both x and y direction. Is there any way that I can set origin to 0,0 in creo and while exporting to dxf it remain same?? All,For a while I have been struggling with the fact that PSM client.jnlp will only work with the 32 bit version of the Java JRE.Recently JRE 1.7 update 71 came out and the client.jnlp will no longer start up and run.I use a 64-bit HP workstation and load both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions of the JRE routinely.I contacted PTC tech support and they inform me that their PSM client in certified for Jave 1.6 32-bit. So we went through a lot of trial and error to get it to use the latest Java 1.7 update 71. Nothing would get it to work, so on my one I started the arduous troubleshooting process:I did some testing and found the following: I uninstalled all Java from the computer and rebooted. I installed JRE 1.6_38 32-bit Ran PTC’s PMS client.jnlp and it worked fine. I installed JRE 1.7_55 32-bit Ran PTC’s PMS client.jnlp and it worked fine. I installed JRE 1.7_65 32-bit Ran PTC’s PMS client.jnlp and it worked fine. I installed JRE 1.7_67 32-bit Ran PTC’s PMS client.jnlp and it worked fine.

I would like to have the Category field displayed for ALM_Test Obective items. It is already on the presentation but for some reason doesn't show when you create or edit a test objective. Also, it's not available when I search for it under visible fields. Could someone fill me in on what I'm missing?

Working on a project, I incorrectly named my parts, so i went back and renamed them all correctly (Manage File --> Rename --> part name). The Assembly worked and opened up, but the drawing came up with errors for every part used " ____ not found in this directory". Is there anything i can do to recover my drawing in this version of Creo?

Afternoon AllIs it possible to unbend a sheet metal cylinder with a profile? I have fiddled with this all day and tried a variety of options with no luck.The attached picture shows the profile I created when revolving the cylinder. Hi,I have tried to do some fixed-step equation solving for power converters, and I have encountered a very weird phenomenon : a unit assigned to "0" without being asked. here is a file that reproduces the problem. The "physical" model is a boundary-mode buck converter. The switch is on (PWM=1) for a fixed duration (ton), then off (PWM=0) until the current in the inductor reaches 0. When the PWM is set to 1, no problem, but when it is set to 0, Mathcad strangely sets it to 0s. If I specify a unit, this units "overrides" the s. If a unit is set to the "1" condition, it applies automatically to the "0" condition too (???). The only way I have found to get rid of this is to do PWM:=PWM/SIUnitsOf(PWM), but it would be much better if it didn't force some unwanted unit in the first place. Any idea where that comes from, and how to prevent that from happening ?Thanks

Hello Everyone,I'm trying to activate the Option Structure Show Parentage checkbox on the Gateway Export Wizard.According to the Gateway User Guide the <show-parentage>true</show-parentage> is required in the appropriate <export-configs> of the gateway-tool-configuration.xml file, and that requires <filter-query-definition> to exist. Below is one of my attempts. The Gateway Wizard does not complaint about anything being wrong, but the option stays grayed out. Hi everyone,I am having a ton of troubles with trying to use data points from any kind of file to create a curve or set of points. The idea is this: I have the coordinates for an airfoil shape in a .xlsx, .txt, .pts, .sec, you name it, and I want to import that data into a sketch. Then, using that sketch, I would extrude a very simple wing. The trouble is, every time I try to either modify a spline and import a file or do any other kind of fix that I have searched online for, it just does not work. Mostly with these fixes, the bottom-left message bar says, "the spline points have not been changed." I would love to know if anyone has any tips for this problem whatsoever. I can't believe it's harder to do tasks like this than when it was Pro-E still. Thanks for the help. -John

I am new to windchill and while exploring this tool , i was trying out some basic activities in participant administration. I just created a user and the next time i went to participant administration i could not see the same user in that table, i had to perform "Add participant to table" to make it available in that table.What is the relevance of this table?i personally was expecting the participants created to be retained in that interface, so that the user could easliy make changes like edit, delete etc to the participant data.

How do I create a macro for IsoDraw CadProcess 7.2 to be able to edit the object id of the assembly group and then copy that over to the object name so that both the object id and object name are the same? Also I need to truncate the object id and name to only show the characters to the right of the hyphen.

Dear All,please check the images that i upload.Problem is that : 1. first image : I create pipes in model by using family table and then use it in the assembly by calling different part of family table so that the center point what i choose should be same in all.2.second image : the parameter length is very important for me to be supplied the information in the drawing so I use the formula for calculating length in each family table configuration (image third)3. When i working in the session (see image 4) problem some same length pipe shown in different item nos. like item 6 & 7 and 9 & 10 and some same length of pipe shown in same like item 8 quantity 2.4. Hello there,I have try to calculate a volume of a torus, and for that I use a function of z and two integrals, but I got error "unknown error".I believe my formula is right, also expression. I'm stuck using Wildfire 4 and I'm finding that the Mfg side of Pro/E|Creo is an exercise is frustration.All I want to do is mill several bores with Helical toolpaths and that option isn't directly availablein a Trajectory sequence.The help file is about as useful as screen doors on a submarine.This is a basic production type tool path and I'm finding I have a Rube Goldberg mazeto get through to produce something that should be intuitive.Facemilling with only 90 degree corners available is another pet peeve.Don't get me going on how weak the Lathe portion is.It's as if no one at PTC has ever set foot in a machine shop.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team.
