I use Creo 2.0.Under ProE, you could apply the front and back with a different color on a surface (not a Solidsurface). This was particularly useful for complex/detailed construction tasks. How do I get this under Creo 2.0 ?Stephan

Hello there,Listen, I'm try to use a 3D function to describe a path of an ant in a surface.The surface rotate at 2*pi/ sec and the ant walks in line from center to away 1 cm/s. The surface is a circle with 1m radius.After all parametrizations, i have problem to draw it. (you can see document attached)This is the function that indicates the position of the ant dependent on time:Then I CreateMesh and this came:From 0 to 50, it should draw a spiral with 50 lines, or I'm I wrong? And how can i chose Step size in CreateMesh?I want like t:=0, 1, 2, 3 .. 100. How can i do that on CreateMesh?Regards,L. L.

Hi I am fairly new to mathcad and I'm having a problem creating a graph of an equation, which describes the transient behaviour of the torque generated by a moter during a fault condition. The datasheet where the equation comes from states that the maximum value (-295.4) occurs at t=0.016s and so I have been able to check that the equation is giving the correct answer for a single value of t.I now want to create a graph of the function, but when I try to do so, I get an error stating "Plotting failed. Replace complex values and NaNs by real numbers".Can anyone tell me why this is going wrong? Hi,I would like to export the values of the pre-defined measures for fasteners from the first load step in a non-linear analysis in Creo 2.0.The background is that I analyze many flanged assemblies with numerous fasteners. When I have added the fasteners to a model I run an extra analysis to calibrate the preload force before I run the actual analysis with loads applied. When the design changes significantly I need to re-calibrate the preload forces for the fasteners.I currently perform the extra analysis for calibrating the preload by making a separate contact analysis with only an insignificant load (I suppress the real loads). Based on the results from the first analysis I then adjust the preload forces of the fasteners, un-suppress the real loads, and run a new contact analysis to get the results I need.Instead of using this procedure I would like to apply my best guess for the preload forces and run a contact analysis with all loads applied. From the second load step (Time = 1.0)

When I try to use TestVerdictName(LastResult()) in the Compuatation Definition of a custom field, I get the below error.MKS131372: An unhandled database exception has occurred. Please contact your administrator. The error supplied by the database is: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected CHAR got CLOBIf I just use ToText(LastResult()) then I can at least get the number value of the last result but as soon as I replace it with TestVerdictName I get this error. I think I understand what the error is saying but I don't understand why I'm getting it. Currently I am trying to work through the embedded if statements. The field type is shorttext. Hi,I was wondering if there was any way to use find given a set of differential equation. Here is a (simple) example : charge of an RC system.input voltage, and capacitor value are known. I want to find the resistor value such that, after a given time Tx, the capacitor voltage is Vx.Obviously, this example is simple enough to solve manually, but could this be applied to much more complex systems where manual solving is not an option.

Hi,I am developping a specific Jar file to enable an interface between Integrity and an other tool. To use this jar file I have created a custom button.This Jar works fine but I have to use a pop-up in which the user writes his connexion data (username, password, server and port). I would like to know if it is possible to recover the connexion data of the user who is currently using integrity.Is there a way to do it or do we must asking the user each time he clik on this button his username, pasword.. even if he is already connected to Integrity.And can we use the jar file in an other way that the custom button.My "dream" should be to right clik on a Test Session, to clik on a specific line of the shortcut menu, recover the user connexion and the id of the Test Session and then do what the jar file have to do.I hop to be clear.Thank you !Nico

For ease of permissions management I put users in groups.I then put those groups in roles in libraries.In a PDMLink 9.1 setup participants workflow task, I could assign a task to any user in the applicable role no matter which group they were in. I can't even see the groups.In a 10.x setup participants workflow task, I see the groups in each role and users not in a group that have been added to roles but no users if they are in a group.There is no way to expand the group or any setting that I can find to allow me to select users that are in groups.Without groups, my permissions management is shot.This work well in 9.1 but has been completely reworked in 10.I submitted a case to PTC TS and went round and round, before and after escalating the case, trying to explain the issue and they all acted like they had no idea what I was talking about.Eventually one of them said that it was probably impossible but he would make sure with R&D.This functionality is necessary for our processes an

I'm a FRC mentor who recently got a new computer, and want to install Creo on it. I tried using the product code from the first time that I got it (as told to do over in the FIRST forums - they told me via PM that the product code is the same for all students), and when I put the product code in to to the installer, it asks me to login to ptc.com, and then simply tells me "Error!". If I hover over it, it says to please contact PTC license support.   What do I need to do to get Creo on this machine? FWIW, I downloaded it again from https://www.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/academic.jsp and still no dice.

Hi!,I want to know if there's a rule or a way to upload specific file on spefic folder automatically?For example: I have CAD FILES folder. This folder only accept (.prt, .dwg, .asm) file DOCUMENT folder. This folder only accept .doc, .pdf, .csv) file If the user upload .doc file in CAD FILES Folder it will not accept it and point to the DOCUMENT folder.Is that possible?Thanks in advanced!

Hello,Could somebody help me to set the parameter "ROZMER by relation using part dimensions?I often use a frame that consists from square profiles and created a template where i just change dimensions as on pic below. The parameter ROZMER appears in BOM and this i would like to be changed automatically.ROZMER should look like "(real dimension d39:3) x (real dimension d40:3) x DELKA_RAMU" in this case "100x10x2000. I'm trying to understand the Intergrity release schedule for WIN8. Currently using revision 10.4

I'm having an issue with the "Readexcel" command in Mathcad Prime 3.0. I have an Excel spreadsheet that contains several cells of data that I'm importing into my Mathcad worksheet. My problem is that once Mathcad reads the Excel file I can't enter a new value in the Excel sheet and get Mathcad to import it without deleting the existing readexcel input and reentering it. I've tried closing and reopening the document to no avail. Is there a way to get Mathcad to reevaluate the input without deleting it and starting over?The cells I'm reading are part of a larger Excel worksheet and it would be easier to leave it as it's own worksheet rather than an embedded object in Mathcad. When I open an assembly I have to go through and retrieve one component from each of the folders inside the working directory. I've been searching and have not found an answer so I'm creating a new post.   I'm working on a drawing in Creo 2.0. I use Show Model Annotations to include a dimension which then appears on one side of the part with correct offset gaps between the witness lines and the part geometry. Then I drag it to the other side to fit into the overall dimensioning plan better and the witness lines don't snap to offset properly to the new side. They remain connected to the first side and I need to drag them individually. Is there any way to change how this works? Hello,I am trying to set up a mapkey that would the following .- If named view "Iso_01" exists in the list, then activate this view- If this view does not exists yet, create it with standard angles and then activate it.I know how to activate a named view, I found some hints concerning "If then else" commands in mapkeys, but I can't find a way to test if the named view exists.Anyone can help me ?Thank you !
