I got advice to use "vectorization" But I wonder something.I saw the book and I knew that "vectorization" is just possible to calculate about same raw and column.But I need to know total calcuation values. For example a=0,1,2,3,4,5 b=1,2,3,4,5y=ax*bif I caculate by using "range variable", I get total calcualtion values. in case <a=0,b=1> ,<a=0, b=2>.....<a=0,b=5> <a=1,b=1>, <a=1, b=2>.....<a=1, b=5> . . .<a=5, b=1>, <a=5, b=2>......<a=5, b=5>I want to get values following.I couldn't have used "vector" because I thought that I couldn't get it.

We recently upgraded from CreoView 2.0 to CreoView 3.0 (Lite version) I can not find a way to set CroeView 3.0 as the default program to open .DXF files (from windows explorer, for example). I have tried right clicking the .DXF file, open with-->choose default program-->navigate to the folder where 'pview.exe' is located and try to select. I select the file, but it will not set as the defualt. When CreoView 2 was installed, it worked fine to set as the default program. I can open CreoView then navigate to a DXF and open it fine, but I am wanting to be able to have CreoView 3.0 Launch when a DXF is opened. I could success to express theta look like "range variable"But I can't get "alpa"I guess the reason why I can't get values is due to "beta" I got error. error said me that the unit is not compatible.so I don't know which is wrong.

I am doing some strain evaluation for dents in natural gas pipelines. I am looking to interpolate matrix to generate a larger matrix with more points. I am not sure how to go about doing this in mathcad. My Matrix can vary in rows in and columns based on the user input. For this example 18 rows and 85 columns. Essentially I am looking to have more data points in order to evaluate the dent geometry.

Hallo.I have some trouble with this.I have to find the polar notation and rectangular notation.I can find the answers from my normal calculator. But how can I type it in mathcad, and solve it there?The answers are 340∠-10.9 and 334-j64.3

Hey,at the moment i´m calculating the massstreams in a powerplant.For the calculation there is a for-loop necessary because one of the last streams is going back to the beginning of the calculation.My problem is that the for-loop will not be calculated while using Units (like kg/hr or mol/hr).I added a simpel example which should discribe my problems more accurate.The output of for-loop should be a Matrix with different Units like [kg/hr] for the Massstream and [ ] (no Unit) for the iteration number.

Hi @all,in the attached picture you can see a structure, how items in our changemanagement could be linked via relationship fields. All items are the same itemtype, and its also always the same relationship field. Items can have different specifications, so the item at the top is in most cases a "library" and in the middle there could be "packages" and at the bottom there are "modules". The following relationships are possible:library -> packagelibrary -> modulepackage -> packagepackage -> moduleSo how we can build a query which returns all libraries, which have a relationship (direct or not) to modules with a certain state? All what i found is the possibilty to filter over direct relationships to the next level in this structure, but not over 3 or 4 level. And also i didnt see a way to do this with subqueries. I got a yellow error while regenerating an assembly. It said Hole_105 lies outside the model or something to that effect. My problem is I don't know how to search for Hole 105.And a side note, when I hit regenerate again that error doesn't come up again since my assembly has a green light. Does anyone know of a way to assign a double quote to a string parameter via relations? I can manually create a new parameter and add a double quote to it, but not programmatically.My current workaround is to manually create a parameter with a value of " and then use this parameter any time I need a double quote character.DBL_QUOTE = " (manually created – doesn’t work in a relation)STRING_PARAM = DBL_QUOTE + "BLAH BLAH BLAH" + DBL_QUOTEYes, I NEED the double quote in the final string. Hello everyone,I am trying to create a plot to find the critical phase angle affecting a pipe.When I created the calculation in Mathcad15 everything works fine. See the file attached.When I reproduced the calculation in MathcadPrime3.0, I am getting errors such as "the variable is undefined", "plotting failed", etc. See the file attachedCan someone please let me know how to fix the MathcadPrime3.0 calculation?I am having trouble calculating the lift of drag force for several values and then using these to create a plot. If input F(4) or F(6) everything is fine. But if I say F(x), and x is a matrix with several values, then the equation crashes.I would really appreciate your help.Thanks!-Ritchie

Hi guys,Can you please help me with the following problem. Hi,   I have a drum I want to weld (to do calculations), so I need to make 2 welds on it, to weld together the core and sides in the assembly I did try to make a part(s), but I get a “Reference restricted by Environment scope was selected. Confirm to copy entity”. This is going to create a circular reference, if I’m not wrong. So therefore I wonder what I can do with that, if anything. Are there other solutions I could use, since I’m looking to make this as reusable as possible next time I want to copy/use the project? This project had circular references and I had big problems copying it from the last project in windchill/workspace.   I have looked into the weld-tool, but as far as I can see, the weld does not add mass, and since we make very large equipment, I need the weight on the weld, and I also need it to make calculations later on. Hello,I'm wondering if it is possible for MathCad to do an optimizing routine using max or min but with a given set of parameters. An example is one of the attached in where I use u(x) and g(x,r), where I want to allow for the input of r during the optimization. Additionally, would it be possible to graph the optimized set as a function as well in terms of a variable x & r. (for any given r, the maximum x is a set value as the rest of parameters are just scalar values, thus I would like to get the optimized value of x as a function of r) I'm assuming the opt x for a given r can be done via a vector output from a solve block routine as a function?
