We've got a macro for drawing our most commonly used nuts, bolts and screws automatically, but it needs a toolbar with a minimum of 18 icons, most of them just to select options - see the image.It works like this:Choose the options for screw head, nut, washer, length and whether to draw fitted or explodedChoose what fixings to draw with one of the last 4 iconsSelect a hole on the illustration and a point for directionMacro draws fixings in the right orientation and scale, with thick/thin changing to medium/thin or all thin and threads being removed depending on how small the fixings areThe limitations:There's no indication of what options have been selected - you have to rememberAll the options have to be displayed all the time, making more clutter on the screenWhen we add more fixing types, it will just add more iconsThe macro can't prompt the user what to do next - unless we accept the user has to click the screen to remove the promptThings that could make it better:If the toolbars c

I Have fair understanding of Repeat region in BOM Table creation in Creo. I need to know the list of parameters like 1) rpt.index 2) asm.mbr.connprm.name etc.. what all the other parameters i need to add in the table to get the list of requirements such as wire size, color, from, to, connector name, wire length, spool name, marking name, part number etc.... I tried to know by searching "google" and "PTC site".But I don't know well. Just, I saw two posting. one is said that "vector" couldn't integrate the other is said that "vector is possible to integrate"so I felt confused..I need help.

Hello All,My program, for some particular cases, spends too much time on a "genfit" function and finally stops calculation (regression doesn’t converge).Is there a way to ask the program, that if it couldn't find the answer within a time interval (or limited number of iterations), forget about the particular case and continue to the next case?

Hello,I was able to do this in 15 very easily, and that file is attached. However, I was unable to get the routine to work in Prime (unsurprisingly). As my university has removed the old mathcad program (and it will be dropped from support before long according to PTC) I was trying to atleast understand how to get the answer in Prime.I'm afraid the way in my earlier post of using a programming block didn't work as expected, and thus I'm unsure how to be able to get the maximum or minimum of an objective function in terms of varying parameters WITH constraints given that can over define the problem.

I have a user that is working with models that have curves with very large radii. When he does a refit (zooms so everything fits the screen) the part can sometimes disappear since the axis the radius is based on is so far away. We are using Creo to create our Bill Of Materials. We have modified every part and added, Price, Supplier, Rule (FTC Game Rule Allowing The Part), and Description parameters. Then in a drawing, we create the table. This works really cool. As we add parts to the robot, the BOM is automatically updated and it includes the game rules for using the part. It also provides a total cost to the robot. But the number show up as 13,050 and not 13.050. I know this the "European Style". Where can change it so that it is decimal? We just used a Blank A drawing for the drawing template. We do use the metric template as our default template for the robot assembly.Also while on topic, can we have it to two decimal places than 3 so it show 13.05 instead of 13.050.

Greetings,Anyone know a way to modify the URL path so that it always points to the latest version of a document?Background: We are using PDMLink 10.1 but still need to place a copy of the Released file in LiveLink so that the SAP Learning Management app can pick up the latest version. Doc Control just writes over the file in LiveLink each time so the path doesn't change.I would like to get away from using LiveLink but I need a constant URL path for SAP..com/Windchill/app/#ptc1/tcomp/infoPage?ContainerOid=OR%3Awt.inf.library.WTLibrary%3A23145620&oid=VR%3Awt.doc.WTDocument%3A36679008&u8=1This would also be helpful when listing controlled documents on an internal web page (sharePoint), then have the text of the document number linked so that the user would be sent to the current highest version. Hi,I have a model of a hinge which has been assembled with a pin connection that allows for 180° movement.I have inserted this hinge into an assembly where it connects two plates.I can make the first hinge and the plate move together, but when I add the second hinge I cannot use 'Drag Components' to move the plate.If anyone can provide some useful tips it will be much appreciated.RegardsNielsThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Help please! This model will not flat pattern or unbend. All radii seem to be constant and the part is fairly basic. Can anyone see what the problem is? Creo 3.0 m010. HDR (high dynamic range) environment for the model, In Shading with Reflections mode, with or without the Photolux license activated. The HDR image does not show up. Cannot Visualize and manipulate the HDR image.

Hi all.I am trying to write a program that will increment a value of x by a predetermined amount, run through a few equations, and then re-evaluate that condition. If that condition is not met, return the value of x to H_loop.I have attached the program, "loophelp". You will have to change the line in the program "H_loop" from "STDD > STDD_allow" to "STDD < STDD_allow" for it to run.I wrote a program that was very similar in structure to the right of the program I am having trouble getting to work. I am not understanding why that one runs with no issue, but the one on the left will sit and spin its wheels ad infintium.Thanks for any help.-JW

i've attached a picture, the bottom pipe is on a different plane angled at 10 degrees from the plane the top pipe is on.I am trying to either create a joint between the two or, better yet, make the two pipes one.The problem i have is that any joint i try to put on these pipes either does absolutely nothing or creates a strange pipe which would not be able to actually be welded together.Any help on this would be gratefully received
