Dear all,I met a problem, when I using the styleshhet(.style file) which is customized for publish a document, the image is over the table and the page, but when I change to use the default stylesheet (for example: ditabase.style), it's ok. Hijust looked over some old custom functions from Tom Gutman.He sometimes uses substitute in his functions, but I cannot fiugure out how he types it IN the programm.looks something like: if I try to explicitly type subsittute (ersetzen) it gets interpreted as a variable, if I use the symbolic -> subsittute it gets writen besides the funvction-definition.Cannot figure it out for MC 15 and MCP3?What's the trick?Need this to define a gradient function in MCThnkxWerner

A few of my team's members have not been able to get Robotalk working.They downloaded webex and have ptc accounts, but the stream either refuses to open or is blank.One is on linux, the other mac.Does Robotalk only work on PC?

Hi,I'm having trouble with units when using exponentiated variables. I'm trying to assign a variable a value (fck) while having another variable depend on the first one (fctm). It works fine if I only multiply the first variable with a constant, but if I also try to exponentiate the first variable my units (MPa) get messed up (see fctmERROR). However if I replace the first variable with the numerical value I assigned to it my units works as they should (see fctmWORKING).Trying to forcibly remove the messed up unit only breaks the whole thing (fctmERROR2).I have attached an image to better understand the problem:Also attached is a file with the error in question.Im using MathCAD Express Prime 3.0 F000 (2013.09.12.003/3.0.0.194) running on Win 8.1 x64

HiI'm trying to make a 3D plot, but gets the error "The function did not evaluate to a pure real value".I don't understand this, since the function seems to work just fine, when I enter values into it.

I need to be able to created destinations in my PDF output that are named based on the value of the ID attribute. Does anyone have a way of determining the currently active users in Windchill?Site --> Utilities --> Server Status --> Current Active Users will list the number of active users, so there must be some way to get this information.Query builder?Direct database access?Log file parsing?This discussion said to look at ptcstatus, but that only works if the users are running Creo. Users connected thru a stand-alone browser session won't pull any licenses.Thanks!

I am new to QuerySpec and SearchCondition. I have an SQL query that uses the LOWER() operator. Is it possible to use that operator in the wt.query.SearchCondition?I have an array of usernames, but they are all in lowercase. I wish to query the database with the usernames, but in the database, they are stored as mixed case. Hi,   I have created a format and a template for creating new drawings. In the format I have created a BOM table with 2D repeat regions, so it automatically populates when an assmebly is added to the drawing. I then created a template that uses that format. The problem I am having is that the BOM table will not populate when I create a new assembly drawing using the template. If I create a new assembly drawing using the format the BOM table populates like it should. In my attempt to figure this problem out, I have tried adding a table to the template separate from the format and I still am not getting the BOM table to populate. Hi,I have just installed the Windchill Desktop Integraton tool and am trying to connect to my Windchill Server via Microsoft Office 2003. In the "Configuration" menu, I enter the server location as https://myserver.mycompany.com/Windchill/app and assign an alias, "Windchill." So far this is the same steps I would follow to register a server within the Creo 3.0 environment.Next,when Im trying to connect it prompts me I get the error below.

As the robot/assembly build becomes large, when you add a part it is quite far from the area of the assembly being worked on/viewed. Is there a way when a part is added, it is "close" to the current view so you don't have to constantly view our move the part reasonably close to where it is going to be connected?

Morning fellow 'Creo' users!I'm wondering what methods or software people use to clean out the multiple file versions that Creo creates when you repeatedly save a file??Know a quick way of doing this? Way back in the days of the Collaboratory there was a thread http://communities.ptc.com/message/45030#45030 discussing how to get longer animations beyond 999 (or 9999!).The main point is that the dialog box is sized in one (microsoft) way and the characters being typed in by some (microsoft) font size. As the versions have come and gone the available space for the ### characters has reduced, limiting the animation length.Unfortunately the pictures have been lost, so I'm wondering if anyone knows the right settings for changing the screen DPI (if this is what is need) to get a bigger dialog box, and also to change the system font that Mathcad is using (to something smaller) so that I can get at least 9999 (four) digits of animation.Ideally I'd like to be able to animate at regular display DPI, yet get at least 1100 FRAMES (i.e. enter 4 characters in the dialog box)I'm using V15M030 on XP (home) and on W7 (work).Philip

Hello PTC community, thanks for taking your time to check this post out. I dont know if mathcad can do this but im pretty sure it can for what Ive seen. I want to make the sum of multiplying a component of a vector with a component of a matrice in an especific column, then with the next component of the vector with the second row in the same column and so on. Details are attached in the document. Thanks for all!   PS. If you are familiarized with chemical engineering, the problem I want to solve is a multicomponent destilation tower with the rigorous method ( I think its the Amundson-Pointnen method)
