Hello! I would like to ask the community about the mesh validation. There is a tool for it in CREO Simulate that is useless for a big simulation models (100000+ elements) it is impossible to turn the model while the mesh is displayed. So is there any feature or tool that will help to hide the valid elements and show only bad elements on the screen. Thank you for the response!

Hello, I've been trying to find those files all around Windchill and my local PC but didn't succeed in that. Where does creo simulate save mesh files?

I have a default set of units that are included in my document template. They are there because I use them regularly.  Having a bit of fun, I have attached a sheet with these and about 50 more.  Who doesn't compare area to Rhode Island or volume to a cord of firewood? Feel free to add more.Bob

We have some models that are Creo 10 and some are Creo 9. We are working with another company that can open Creo 9 models and not Creo 10. Is there a way i can save Creo 10 models to Creo 9 without losing features and Metadata?  

Following up on thr thread https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/LeastSquaresFit-usage-for-Foster-Model-parameters/td-p/100070  Why does genfit blow up when provided with the actual Foster Model thermal fitting function and guess values used within that model when fitting to @VD_12953418 digitized plot data?  I would have guessed that the genfit result would have been close to the plot of the model or to the example of digitized data.

Hello I ran the setup.exe file and i get this error message: V:\pim\x86e_win64|installmgr.dll is either not designed to run or Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000020 Does the setup has to be installed in the desktop as opposed to a mount drive?  I am not sure if is the dll file itself or my Windows 11 (i do have window universal c runtime as MS visual c++ Redistributable).  I read somewhere here to download the dll file for creo 2.0 but i havent seen one for creo 10. I am still on the fence if it could be something else thanks

Description: The database table EPMDocument contains duplicity rows for revision-iteration object.For example object ABC has two records in the database for version B.1 First is latest second is not. Object is checked-inI do not know the root case why there are duplicated records so I would like to know, if someone has similar experience. System history shows the records correctly but method .istheLatestIteration can not work properly. Query Report contains the duplicity additional information this EPM Documents are created in Catia and saved by workgroup manager in Windchill Thanks in advanced for any experience.  PetrH

Hello, I downloaded the PSI and tried to run the setup on a fresh VM. First I encountered an error for missing JDK, I downloaded the version 17 but after when I try to run the setup I got:Error: could not find or load main class com.zerog.lax.LAXCaused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException com.zerog.lax.LAXAny idea is there something I have to change in the setup properties or where this error is possible to come from?  

HiI have a question related to contained mashupsI created a contained mashup that holds two buttons, and I want to use it in another main mashup as a popup mashup appears when I click on a row on the grid exists the main mashup.I assigned a service ( deletion row from the grid ) to a button exists in the popup contained mashup, when I click on the button nothing reflect on the grid.Service is working and I tested on another button that exists in the main mashup.What can I do to make the service run on the button exists in the contained mashup ?

Used ipconfig and requested a license for one of the physical addresses.Received license from PTCAfter navigating to the license, the Licensing Error gui said, "If you need to obtain a node-locked license, your machine’s host ID is required. The host ID for this machine is XX-XX-XX-3C-7A-00.” (I put in the "XX's") XX-XX-XX-3C-7A-00 is not in the ipconfig list of laptop's physical addresses, but anyway, I requested a new license using “XX-XX-XX-3C-7A-00.”The license does not work because it is not a physical address for the machine. This also happened to another user a few years and the host ID at that time was identical to the one we are seeing now  - XX-XX-XX-3C-7A-00. Different user, different laptop, different year. PTC sent me a new license from the list of physical addresses I submitted then. Now, they are not understanding my issue and resent me “XX-XX-XX-3C-7A-00.” What am I doing wrong? 

The Windchill server restarts every night. Sometimes the worker on the publisher fails to start and the worker Dameon service on the publisher server needs to be restarted as well which usually resolves the issue. Should I be restarting the worker dameon service nightly as well or is there another issue going on here. Note: I did not set up this system. IT has remove access from all users so troubleshooting is difficult. I sort of need to have a list of things for the IT server admins (who are not Windchill admins) to try.

Hi,I have to create three Datum Axes with name D, E, F, based on a custom Coordinate System ("CS_DEF"), which is rotated relative to the original (XYZ) coordinate system.My problem is that, if I create a Datum Axis based on the axis of the coordinate system, Creo puts the axis name on the opposite side of the direction of the coordinate system's axes.How can I move the name of the axis to the opposite side?thank you 

Hello All,Just wondering how people go about creating simplified models of sub assemblies. The specific thing I am working on is an assembly with several different bearings. While I want to keep the bearings in the assembly and it is nice they look like bearings when sectioned etc I would like to to simplify them. By simplify I mean ideally turn them into a single part. The bearings currently are as downloaded from the bearing supplier and each one has a dozen different parts. For this project I want to keep everything in a single folder and having lots of bearing parts is making it more difficult to see the other parts. Also I have to email assemblies and it would be better if the bearing was then just one part, instead of several. I could remodel the, but this seems time consuming and unnecessary. I also could Shrinkwrap them, but this creates external surfaces only.   Any recommendations would be appreciated.Thank you.

I want to hide a part of an assembly in one of the detail view of the drawing but the parent view must have that part to be shown.Can anyone help me on this.

I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 8.5.As a required project step to upgrade v8.5 to the latest v9.x of ThingWorx, it is necessary to "move" Production ThingWorx due to failing/EOL hardware. As part of the re-cloning process, ThingWorx fails to start after attempting to clone ThingWorx from Source Server to New Target Server with the exact same Hostname. Tomcat starts and shuts down when attempting to start the Windows Service - fails to fully start. Errors in log files are thrown referencing "APR based Apache Tomcat Native library" and "HTTPS protocol". I have a customer who will not be renewing DPM, but needs to continue using the PTC.Base entities from the Solution Framework.  These entities were added as part of the DPM installation.  Will letting DPM expire impact the solution framework extension entities?

hi,can I add media ( icons ) to grid ???I tried several times but the media image is not displayed on the grid only the path like /Thingworx/MediaEntities/Media name only this path appears.Also I made the column configuration Image render.Note : this grid binded with infotable and the column in the infotable which represent the media is string type

Hello, I need a schedule widget. I see the standard one (this one) but I would like to have additional functionalities, like single-day visualization and/or click to open details.   Is there another custom version of the widget or is it possible to customize it?   Thanks in advance

In chipdatafilter, we want to filter one column using multiple values. Example, I want to filter ColoursColumn in grid data using three values like Red,Orange,Yellow. How to do this.   Is there any way to multiselect options of values to filter grid data?

An option to automatically purge features in a model with no internal or external reference. This is for cleaning the model after finish the model.
