I have been confused for a few days. If I publish a bookmap into PDF with my self-defined style-sheet, the book-title and the front-matter will appear twice! They will appear at the start of the book (It is correct), and appear again at end of book (It is not what I expect). However, if I publish the bookmap file with default style-sheet, the result is correct—they just appear at the start. I try to adjust the style sheet many times. It seems I didn’t know where to solve it.I don’t know how to control it – how to remove them from the end of the books. Can somebody help to answer it?

I see downloaded successful and see it in the workspace. The number and filename all show the new name in the PDMLink UI. Even the filename on the content tab updates.

I'm out of options here. I'm running a simple static analysis on a crankshaft (just imagine a solid round bar). I've created a cylindrical coordinate system. I constrain one end in R, T, and Z as fixed. The other end I apply a 1Nm moment. I've created two measures at points on the end where the moment is applied. One is at 12 o'clock and the other is at 6. The measures are set as rotatonal (radians).The results are fine and reasonable for everything except the measures and the rotational calculations. Hi,I'm trying to export a Test Suite and its Test Cases into a DOCX file with the gateway export wizard.I succeed in displaying each test cases of my test suite like this :id - Text - CategoryMy problem is that I would like to display also the field Expected Results but I don't know why I can't do it. I am using <%{Expected Results}%> to get it as I do for id or text (like that <%{Text}%> ) but it doesn't work.Does someone have an explanation for this?Thank youN. Lateral

I would like to edit model dimensions which were developed using Inheritance from the drawing level.   Here is the procedure which I have used for model & drawing creation,   First Model with all Primary Pattern and Machine features. Then bringing first model into Second model as inheritance and creating drawings using second model. Please Refer enclosed snap.   Now I want to edit dimensions and its Tolerances from the drawing level. But these dimensional parameters are not highlighting or not editable from the drawing. Hi.This has turned out to be a more complex transaction than it should be. This is done in Integrity with "Create Related Item", so we know that what we're trying to do is possibleon some level.What we need to do...From a pre-trigger that is invoked on a state-change of an item, we are automatically creating a bunch of "child items". In other words, creating several items that have a relationsip with the item whose state has just been changed. The creation is working perfectly, with one exception. And that exception is the creation of the relationship back to the parent. If we leave that out, items get created. If we keep it in, we get an error message that is:"MKS5380160: The item you are attempted to edit is currently locked by another edit. Please try again later."Since relationships are added to an item being edited by the "Create Related Item" functionality, how do we accomplish the same functionality with this automated creation process that we've created.The code that works:func

Good morning. When I look at the lights (View, Model Setup, Lights) in my models, they have the following lights defined: Default Ambient Default Distant Lightbulb-2 Lightbulb-3 Lightbulb-4 Spotlight-2   Of these, they are all switched on, except the Default Ambient.   Clearly, at some stage I, or someone else, has created this set of lights. What I don't understand is this: Where is this set of lights stored? What is its filename?   I would like to modify the file so that the Default Distant light is switched off as standard. How do I do that? I know how to switch it off, but the off setting does not persist. Hi,I produced a program where there are 10 columns and the resultant matrix displays as a table rather than in the normal matrix format. When reducing the number of columns to 8 or less the normal matrix format is displayed. Is there a fix for this?Sharon

We recently went to new machines with Editor 6.1 installed and when we createa PDF from Print, Print Composer, or Publish to PDF, the text in our graphics is no longer searchable in the PDF. We haven't, as far as I know, ever in the last 10 years needed to make any setting changes other than in the paths section. I have tried changing the cgmprofile in the advanced settings to no avail based on other forum posts but doesn't help.Any ideas?

Hi,I am working on a stylesheet and I noticed that my HTML output has very narrow columns for the tables, when I checked them I noticed that the value for width is set to px. In the source it was set to picas.Arbortext Editor XML<tgroup cols="3"><colspec colname="col1" colwidth="12.80pi"/><colspec colname="col2" colwidth="12.00pi"/><colspec colname="col3" colwidth="13.00pi"/>Styler HTML Output <colgroup> <col style="width: 12.8px; "> <col style="width: 12px; "> <col style="width: 13px; "> </colgroup>Obviously, this conversion of units is way off. I am hoping there is a fix for this issue in Styler. Any ideas?

Does anyone know when / if PTC plans to add this to Arbortext? Or what version, if they already have? I couldn't find anything in a search.

Attached are two photos and the entire robot assembly. Trying to figure out a way to "mechanize" the linear slides. Basically there is a rope/wire that wraps around each pulley. The main wheel/pulley turns to "pull it tight" causing it to raise. And then unwinds to lower. I know in the picture the belt mechanism is not wired correct but it wants to wrap such it is continuous. If Creo can't really draw it, is there a method to control the motion from the motor such that as it rotates, the linear slides go up and down.

I know, I know.... noob question - but I'm not an ACL person, and I'm about crazed out- on trying to find a simple way to lift/extract all of the 'figure' tag contents in an XML file (Mil-Std Tech Manual DTD - Need to create a list of figs by id with titles and graphic boardnos).Was trying the REGEX route, problematic (too many 'workarounds' required - remove all line returns), then looked to XML parsers, (too hard, too long to learn it). It's a long walk down the google rabbit hole to not find a really easy solution to this...Then I thought... "HEY" (I actually said this out loud in the office, disturbed some folks)... With all of you Arbortext Wizards (capital W) out there, doing magical ACL stuff; someone's got to have an ACL command in their pocket to simply 'find' all instances of an XML tag - so that I can 'mark' them, and copy/paste them out somehow, no?Lastly (related Q), is there a 'cheatsheet' out there in Arbortext land of commonly used/abused ACL commands/command strings? Hi, I am using mathcad 15 and am having an issue when using a given/find statement to solve a system of equations. I've constructed my equations and set them into the statement but keep getting a error that says "this variable is undefined". I traced the error to k5 but I checked and it seems to be defined. I am using Creo Parametric 2.0. My Harness Part has 30 wires and 3 spools.Let us consider a) 10 wires belong to spool A b) and next 10 Belongs to Spool B c) and the third 10 belongs to Spool C. by mistake while routing i did not change the spool name and routed all the 30 wire with Spool A. Now if i want to change the spools as per my requirement what is the solution? I tried to go for reroute it will not help. I tried route spool is showing but non editable please give me solution.
