We need to costrain a part to a part added later but when we select it, there is no option to constrain to that part.

Does anyone know how to convert an audio file, like a wav or mp3 file, to a data file, like a prn file of voltage vs. time, that can be read by Mathcad? And then after manipulations in Mathcad converted back to an audio file? Or an audio file to a csv file?

Hi all, I just downloaded Creo 2.0 and when i try to enter the license in the 'simple license entry' box, I am unable to select the box itself to type anything in. I was wondering if this maybe a local issue or if there is a fix. I am also having this problem when i try to install 3.0.Thanks in advance.

I've searched and haven't found a solution to this problem. Just recently "upgraded" from WF4 to Creo2 and dimenison displays in models SUCK. Depending on your background and part color, you either see your dimension or not depending on whether your dimension is on the background or on the part. In WF4 the dimension had a box around it that always matched the background color so no matter where the dimension was, you could see it. I can't figure out how to do that, if possible, in Creo2.If anyone has a fix to this, I would appreciate it. Hi everyone,In one of our new manuals, I’ve been trying to set up our revdates to show up in the LEP and in our footers at the graphic element level. For some reason, our document keeps using the overall revdate for the overall document and not the revdate that is specific to each graphic. Can you help me set up the document where it will use revdates for each graphic instead of the overall revdate?

I have asked previously for PTC support to provide a workaround for lost functionality but they have not been able to find a solution. In the pre Wildfire UI there was a Select by menu last feature function call which would always select the last feature created in the model. This functionality is no longer supported for mapkey use as the new UI uses a filter "last feature" but forces the selection of a unique feature from the pick list (which is by definition a single element array). To have the user use the mouse to select an element from an array of 1 is redundant. I suspect it was done for UI coding consistency but they unwittingly killed a really useful function for automation.   The old mapkey sequence that would allow one to truly select the last feature lookes like this: mapkey smm #sel by menu; mapkey sml %smm;#last;   Has anyone figured out a workaround for this that would work in a mapkey? I'm trying to code a table with a continued title to float across multiple pages. I have all this working correctly however the customer wants the word continued to appear on all subsequent pages except the FIRST page. Right now I have it to say Continued on all pages except the LAST one. Any help would be appreciated. In Arbortext Styler, I am designing a stylesheet from a blank sytle. When I tried to edit GenText and insert the division reference, however, this menu is grey. While I chek the standard stylesheet, the division refernce menu does work. Is there any setting I should do before editing the GenText? Thank you in advance.

I was, and possibly still am an accredited Creo trainer based in Norfolk, UK. Since the pre-summer changes, of which I only heard secondhand despite being listed on the PTC Academic site as a trainer, it is very difficult to know if PTC considers the UK as a viable academic user of Creo. It would be nice to receive some info from PTC and therefore feel part of the PTC Academic community again.

Hello All,I have a document in Doors which has been converted to RIF via Atego Requirements Synchronizer 2.4. This RIF file has been now pushed to Integrity using RIF Utility 2.5. In the meantime the Doors requirement document has been updated; now I would have to export Doors document again and update Integrity. In these scenarios it would be very helpfull if all affected requirements will be marked as suspected, so that we can export only the affected requirements and update only those in Integrity. Could someone please let me know if such a flag exists in Atego or on RIF or if there is a way to do this in Integrity. Thanks in advance...

Morning All,I'm struggling with the pattern function in Creo 3. See image below.Basically, I'm trying to pattern a hole feature along a sketch line on the face of this component. But no matter what I do or what settings I change the hole pattern runs off the sketch.The base component is 2.8m long, its a ø6mm hole and the spacing is 150mm pitch. The first hole is bang on the sketch line but by the end of the pattern it looks like this....Any ideas what I'm doing wrong????Thanks. If there is a requirement 1.1.1 which has some comment inside a field, can we create an additional requirement 1.1.1.1 to that in the xml mapping file?Something like the attachment... Here 3.13.1 is a requirement with some value, now can I create additional requirement to that 3.13.1.1. Is this possible? How can this be achieved?

Hi.We have code for creating web links that works "kind of". See the code snippet below. When a user is using the Web Client, and they click on a link created by the interntals of Integrity, the user sees a page that allows them to view the item and switch to "edit item" from the left hand menu.When a user clicks on an link created from the function below, the browser forces the user to login again. Our users want all links to function the same - whether those links are created by the internals of Integrity, or created by our custom scripts. Hello,Is there any possibility to locate where a member is shared using CLI commands?For example, we have member1 located in project1 archive.But member1 is also shared in project2 with variant DEV_Path_1.Somehow, when using CLI commands for CP's the only information I get is that member e:/project1/member1 was changed on DEV_Path_1, but my need is to have the information member1 is located on e:/project2/member1 (if for example I want to use si co CLI command in parallel with CP info manipulation).Is there any possibility to get the location where a member is shared? for example, using a command such as si locate member1 that returns not only e:/project1/member1, but also e:/project2/member1( location where the member is shared)?
