Hello,   I've managed to setup the vbapi on my computer, but I still get an error when I want to test my first program. Unfortunately an error occurs which says something like (I've got the german version of Visual Studio Express 2013 - so I try to translate the error as correct as possible) A first chance exception of type "System.InvalidCastException" occured in Creo_VB-Testprojekt.exe

I have a log-log plot. The y-axis range is 0.01 to 1.0. The problem is that the x-axis is labeled at the TOP of the y-axis.Is there a way (as there is in EXCEL) to change where the x-axis labels are placed (i.e. - I want the labels to be at the lowest y value (on log scale) of 0.01)?

Question for the Analysis gurus:If I run an analysis with contact enabled, is it possible for it to converge if none of the contacts are actually required for equilibrium?For the sake of illustration, let's say that I'm modelling a spring device with an 'end stop' controlled by a contact; but in fact the load applied to the spring doesn't (shouldn't) cause it to deflect far enough to make contact with the end stop.Will this converge happily, or does the convergence depend on at least one contact being 'engaged' - will Mechanica try to somehow create a contact condition even though the load doesn't require it?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I am trying to use the student version of Creo 2.0 on my Surface Pro 2, but after i create a sketch and try to extrude it it restarts. Does not happen on my desktop running Windows 8.1 Pro (same version as my SP2). Any solutions? I have tried turing off my firewall and reinstalling and etc.

I am having an issue getting a note with leader to place the text above the elbow. I have the config and drawing detail set to above leader by default but the text still shows parallel and next to the leader line.I am using this note as a custom BOM balloon to add reference numbers to the assembly drawing. We have custom balloons which are underlined numbers so that we don´t confuse the revision balloon symbol with a part number in the BOM. (Number 20 in the image should look like number 4)I have spent almost an hour fighting with the config settings to try and solve this but it seems the system keeps reverting back to text default. Hey friends!I am currently working on Mathcad Prime 2.0 for doing Engineering Calculations. While having to do the 2-D plot, I am facing a very fundemental Issue which seems wierd. I'm defining range for x as well as y. I am also extracting both the values and placing them. While I define the 2-D plot I am getting a strange error saying "There are too many range variables". One of our team member has checked in his parts in the wrong folder. How can I move or erase this parts. The parts have references to other .asm and .prt. I can't erase because I always get error messages that the part is used in an old version of a assambly. (Like A3 is the current and the errormessage is with the version A.1)

Hi, I've searched far and wide for any clue as to how to create a dual port variable connector in Creo Schematics. I can create a single port variable connector with which I can establish the number of ports for an instanced part. But, I'm unable to duplicate a port so that it has the same serial number of "1" to match the other port when I try to create a dual port variable connector, e.g. to represent a dural-row barrier stip. There is an example object artifact under groups in the sample catalog that's provided with Creo Schematics 2.0, called "Dual Port Connector," which behaves just the way that I need (the instance creating the specified number of dual rows. However, the opposing ports are identicle, both numbered via autogen with the "1." I'm unable to do this when I try to create my own dual-rowed variable connector. Hello, i have a question with the weldseam from creo. I use Creo 2.0 and my model have been welded. I would like to knowthe length of the whole weldseam (schweißnaht), like the sum of all it. I acctually want to save the length all the edges that have been welded and then as someone suggested me, create a parameter from the analysis feature. Hi All,I have a model tree questions that I hope someone can help me with....We have a part directory where we (should) store all the fixings and other component parts that are used to build up our assemblies. In the past people have saved lots of these 'common' parts into the working directories for a particular project, creating multiple uncontrolled copies of basically the same part. This is causing me a headache as well as costing time trying to dig them all out.I wondered if it was possible to create a new column in the model tree that would display the file location of each part used in that assembly?? This would make it easier to see which parts needed to be replaced with the part from the correct file location.If this isn't possible, does anyone have any ideas how I can quickly see the location details of parts in an assembly??
