Hi all, when in the mesh there are more of one type of element (generally tetra) we have a different color of the elements: a different kind of blue. in creo 2 we have the possibility of generate a more detailed mesh, so we can use also wedge and brick elements. But I think wedges and bricks have the same colour.     It would be nice to have the possibility of deciding the colour of each element. Hello,   I am using PTC Creo Parametric 2.0 and I really need to edit an .igs file! I can import it and open it but i cannot modify the geometry or like modify the original sketch...I am just able to move the parts.   What I need to do is to create another sketch over the geometry and the 3D I import, cause I need to draw and add another "piece" to it.   If anyone knows how to do it please reply!   Thanks in advanceThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi,We have got the email notification working and we would like to include an URL link to the item that triggered the sending of the email notificaiton within the email message. Is there a field we can use, or function that we can call, to get theURL link for an item? This feature exists in reports, but we have not found a field or function to duplicate that functionality in scripts.If there isn't a functional available, could someone provide an example script of how to put build a URL link for an item?Thanks...-Sean

If there is a sheetmetal expert out there, could you open the attached file and tell me why this sheet metal model will not unbend or flatpatteren. Hi I am using the student version of PTC Creo 2.0 i´ve installed the software new because of new operating system but now my old license isn´t working. How i can get a new one. I would be grateful to get any solutions.

Hi,I have Matchcad Prime 3 [ACADEMIC] and Mathcad 15 [ACADEMIC]. I can use the Signal Processing functions wihtin Prime but not within Mathcad 15. I'm guessing the pack isn't installed for 15 due to the Academic license. What I don't quite understand is why I can access the functions in Prime - are they built into Prime by default but need the extension pack installing for 15?Is there anyway of installing the pack for 15 - I've been on the PTC downloads site but I can't find anything for 15. I'm guessing though that my license level determines whether I have it or not...

Hi,In Arbortext Editor 5.2 version, the ACL function com_attach("Sepe.EditSupport") returns a non-zero handle, but in 6.0 M100 version, always returns zero. How can I solve this problem in version 6.0?

Hi, we have an Integrity Source server trigger script that gets a user- or groupname from a member attribute.Actually, it identifies this string as user or as group by the command Server.getUsersOfGroup(Server.getGroupBean("string"));and if the size of the return value is 0 (string is username) or not (string is groupname).This works pretty well, but we get many errors in the logfile like2014-04-01 11:31:40,732 ERROR [mksis.IntegrityServer] * * * * ERROR * * * * (0): MKS125524: Group <string> could not be found in the realm.So my question is:Is there another way to determine if a given string is a valid user or a valid groupname?Thanks,Stephan

Hello all,How can I add a zero before the decimal when dimensioning a part in a drawing? For example, I am getting ".57" for a dimension. How can I make it appear as "0.57"? Is there a setting I need to get to to change this? Also, is there a way to make this a permanent feature, so I wouldn't have to keep changing it for every dimension on every drawing I make?I am new to Creo, so forgive me if this is a silly question. Hello, i have a question with the weldseam from creo. I use Creo 2.0 and my model have been welded. I would like to know if there is a tool that can measure the length of the whole weldseam (schweißnaht), like the sum of all it. Hello everyone,I have some trouble with a function dF(x, d1, d2). I would like to aquire this way p value from F distribution for a known sample with identified F value. Number of independent variables: 2Number of dependent variables: 1Sample's size: 20F value: 16.8833I implemented data to formula: dF(16.8833,2,17) and got a result 3.064 *10^-5. But this is not correct for my needs, because the desired value is 9.15*10^-5.When I calculate it in reverse way through formula qF(1-9.15*10^-5,2,17) I got 16.8833. Can you explain me what I am doing wrong?

Hello there, how are you?I have a problem with math graphics. the equation of a cilinder is cilinder(roh, teta) and the shpere, like this: and th final plot, with wrong equation. I need to draw a sphere with a equation of a cilinder, so I try to z:=-1.5,-1.6..-4.5 instead of Z:=-1.5But funcion CreateMesh gives error becouse Z is a array of numbers instead a number? I was having problems with 2.0: http://communities.ptc.com/message/260223#260223 so i saw 3.0 in the academic area as downloadable, now it says license doesn't work. I used the same license I got in the mail for 2.0.I am falling behind without please ASAP
