Hello,   I have a problem with cotation of holes made by a group pattern around axis.   I would need to use linear cotation of those holes but after the pattern is done it will switch to radial cotation. What is the best approach to finding all Drawings that are required for a certain high-level assembly to be built ? I can generate a +/- 5000 part structure and request for the CAD documents to be shown, but Windchill freezes on this one.Since we're not sure of that drawing's number, folder or even context, we require a really generic solution. A Search based on number, attribute, ... is no option.I've started looking into Query Builder, but I'm not really familiar with such tools to find a quick solution for this. I'm not even sure if QueryBuilder is the right tool for this...

I'm trying to model similar indentions on the side of a part using surfaces but it is not going to well. I came somewhat close to what I wanted a few times but I'm never able to put rounds on the indention I create. And at this point I would be happy just to be able to take the model I have and put rounds on it so that it can be machined with a 3/16 ball end mill(minimum 3/32 rads)Any help or pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi All, I am using Windchill 10.1 M040 with Creo Parametric 2.0. When I am pulishing to create a new representation using windchill it always fails with the log. Whenever I checked in from Creo Parametric its successfull. When I bring some models into a drawing, all then vendors datum tags are displayed. (First off, I don't own the piping and cabling extension. This is pretty rare work for us, so it's isn't worth it to buy.)One model, two questions:1. Why are there circular references in this model? Initially, I created STRAIGHT_LTI_1, repeated it as needed, and replaced each "STRAIGHT" by copy. This created a circular reference for every STRAIGHT. I eventually built them each from scratch just to relieve the loops (I can't stand unintended loops in my models, even if they aren't causing any issues). I had to add a couple different STRAIGHT pipes in the run (5 and 6, currently) and I got the same problem using the repeat and replace method. I've tried checking everywhere I know to, can't figure out why there's still circular references with those 2 pipes.2. This assembly is a good example of an issue I'm having. I saw a video recently where a shell of a car was created in Creo parametric by pulling out shapes from pictures imbedded in the planes. The setup was started with the front, back, top and side planes containing the appropreate pictures. I would also like to do this, but i have no idea how to insert a .jpg image into the respective plane. Can anyone help?

i am not able to insert a cordinate system into datum graph. Our company is new to Windchill and were still climbing the learning curve. Currently I am attempting to upload a PDF to windchill and I am getting a bunch of errors. I have looked around for a solution but I cant find anything. This is what happens:1. As soon as I click "New Document" this windows error pops up. I click install and it loads 1/4 of the page2. After it loads a small amount of the page the same error pops up again an I click "Install"3. After that the screen looks correct except for a black X where a "browse" icon should be. When I click "Browse" This error pops up and when I press OK it kicks me back to the New Document scree, not letting me browse for a file.4. If i manually input in a file location then try to "Finish" I get this error.If anyone has seen anything like this before or has any ideas for how to help I would appreciate it!

I have been using creo parametric 2.0. when i go to help it asks for only customer login. is E support available only for customer account or what???

Hi All,   All of a sudden we have lost the connection to our Creo 2 server with this licence error.   I have tried to reconfigure the installation on our server using the reconfigure.bat but all instances of inputting the licence number are greyed out, I have tried disabling the Antivirus etc but without success.   Any ideas??   We are using the student Academic edition.   Many thanks in advance.

HiIn my Custom Object logs I found some errors that I can't make sense of (see below). I also don't know which Custom Object is generating this error. Can someone tell me what could result in such an error? Hi,we would like to do a project checkpoint, but only if there are no member deltas - like for the sandbox snapshot.I thought this could be done with a trigger.A server side trigger however does not seem to have access to the sandbox data and so cannot be used.A client side trigger seems to be much less flexible and powerful.In addition, I really do not know if there is a checkpoint project client trigger event that can be used.Does anybody have experience with project checkpoints only if there are no member deltas?

Does anyone have a valid link to the PTC plug ins so I can download the latest files for integrations?

I have a job that has many assemblies/parts/drawings that have alot of external references to each other. I need to copy these files and change the name of all the files.Files right now have the prefix 12775 and I need to change the prefix to 12776.I'm guessing if we had Windchill this would be easy but we do not.
