Hi everyone!!I need your help. In my work usually need technical illustrations, this illustration come from creo, in vector files. But in the future i'll need obtain this 2D models from creo view. My problem is the export options in creo view. I try to export in PDF files, but the image is not a vector graphics. Hello.We want to update our long-outdated installations to Creo 2.0 as soon as possible, but wonder if there is a way to output Wildfire 3.0 compatible files (models, drawings, etc). Hello! I am having trouble adding drat to the left side of the "g" feature on this part. I use this same extrusion on other parts and it drafted fine. I don't know what I am doing different... I need to add 2° draft in the same direction as the right side of the "g". Can anyone tell me what the problem is? Hello Friends,I have solved a set of equations to find two unknown values by using Find function. But I couldn't able to use the values which I got as result for further calculations. I think its because I have defined the unknown variavles with assumed values.Can anyone help me to resolve this?Thanks,Venu

I'm trying to solve a system of equations for a 4 bar linkage for all the geometry and the forces. For some reason the comparitor functions are not actually constraining the system as they should. For example all angles inside a triangle should add to 180deg (pi). ProE does this. MathCad solve block allows this is float slightly off (therefore giving incorrect geometry).I modeled it in ProE and locked down the geometry I wanted fixed. The main input is 1 of the angles and everything else should be solveable from that.I've attached 2 MathCad files. 1 for the geometry (using law of cosines and basic trig). Another for the FBD using primarily law of cosines. And a 3rd trying to solve the geometry using only angles and basic trig.I also attached the FBD sketched out...Anyone have any advice (specifically on how to "lock down" constraints, if possible)?Thanks,Pete

I wanted to download the Creo Schools Edition. An email was sent to me, providing the Product Code and an installation guide. I followed. However, after downloading the setup file which creates a valid license and inserting the Product Code. It said error. May I noe why is that so? Can someone help us?

Is there a way in MKS SI 2009 to perform atomic checkins?For example, I'd like to add, drop and edit files and check in all of those changes as a single, atomic repository change action so that others can't resynch, check out (or create devpaths or variant sandboxes) for inconsistent repository contents between the individual actions. Also, if a long check in fails or pauses partway through, for example due to a "do you want to branch that" dialog, missing file dialog or file I/O error, I'd like none of the preceding actions to go in. This is also to protect others from acting on inconsistent repository contents while I fix the issue.Obviously, defered actions come close, but are they truly atomic or can partial commits and checkin/checkout race conditions occur? This is aggravated by an occasionally slow VPN-checkins can take minutes at times due to large numbers of files and some large files.Many thanks,Barrie

By tweaking the OOTB OIRs (to remove the GetServerAssignedConstraint from the "number" AttrConstraints) and setting some Preferences, we have almost got what we need, but not quite. As shown on the screen grab image below (if it is legible...) we have got the CAD filename driving the CAD Doc Number (which has to be unique, and it goes into CAPITALS regardless of the case of the filename), and similalry CAD Doc Name is based on CAD filename but dropping the extension - so it is quite literally becoming the "common name" for associated parts, drawings and WTParts (and these are being autonumbered). The CAD filenames come from an external system, that generates document numbers in CAPITALS. All of this is what we want except the case being used for the CAD Doc Names.The discrepancy we are left with is due to the different behaviour or Pro/E and SolidWorks, where Pro/E always puts the filename into lowercase, but SolidWorks preserves the case of the filename as it was entered in the UI. I have several very old drawing files, which were readable in Mathcad 4.5 (probably, since they are not readable in v5.0). I have long since upgraded, one version after another, and dumped all my old version install floppies, although I still have v5.0, for what it's worth. The Mathcad files in which these drawing images were loaded no longer display the images in any version from v5.0 on, of course. The drawing files are .dwg files, but Autocad products no longer read them either.I had a fellow look at the image files who is familiar with lots of old formats. He said they must be old GenericCad files, from before Generic was bought by Autocad. The early dwg's were not the same as what the standard format eventually became. The drawing files are loaded into the Mathcad files by marking the beginning and ending of the file name by "?". Hello everyone,I would like to know How and why to use WinDU and WinRU? I understand you would want to use it before an upgrade, but how about monthly maintenance? I would think that it does a great job of scanning the system and looking for issues. I looked for some decent how-to's but didn't find any. Using it is not rocket science at all. What I really am after here is a good explanation of the use cases and then after it is ran do I then execute WinRU? Do I run it on each node of the instance if it is a clustered install or is it ran once for the whole system?Thanks for the response in advance,Andy Delk

OK, help files are going to come soon, but I have started to use the program for nice simple calculations together with explanations very similar to working on a Word report, but with actual Math capability. It looks good and all on the computer in the program, but when I tried to print the pages, I got truncated graphs and placeholders instead of a formula or nothing at all (blank space where a simple formula is on the screen). What am I doing wrong? I looked for anything to adjust or change, but did not find anything. Printing to PDF does also not seem to be an option...Peter

Now I only use non_spec_driven model for drawing flexible pipe in pro/piping. but in Pro/e 5 help file I saw it may use spec_driven model too and need set "flex_pipe" in MCAT file, who know it how to set?
