Hi,When trying to encrypt the database password in Thingworx I get the following error: No configuration setting found for key 'security'. My keystore.conf is attached.From what I can see, security is defined, so what is happening? This all started with Thingworx not being able to start, due to it not connecting to postgres in the middle of last week. This without anyone changing anything. The error when Thingworx do not start: CRITICAL ERROR ON STARTUP: Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database!KindlyOskar Berntorp

When I run Resources["ContentLoaderFunctions"].GetJSON(params) when I logged in as a developer, the data is returned.When the user on the floor logs in and runs the page then get an error  [content loader functions] does not exist]. Why does it exist for me as the developer and now for the user on the floor? Thanks

I have a new font that i want to set to rows text of my grid,"font-family": ["ZCOOL QingKe HuangYou", "cursive"] I tried the css and grid configuration, may be somewhere i am getting wrong. css is working for labels, but how shall i write css for grid rows font?Can anyone please try this and help me set this font to my Grid Row Text?Thanks in advance.

This issue happens in Windchill and Windchill WGM. When I select the PDF in the Content Tab of a CAD Drawing item, the only option is to download the PDF. This started a couple days ago. Previously, If I click on the PDF, it would open in a Windchill window to view. Alternatively, if I shift-click the PDF, it would open in a separate window.  I don't want to have to download a PDF just to view it.     

Hello,   I am attempting to access Article - CS69429 (link: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS69429 ) but unfortunately can not. I called PTC Technical Support who referred me to this email instead. I believe the issue that is occurring is that since I am using an academic license, the PTC website says I do not an active subscription to CREO. I called the technical support phone number and spoke with a representative who told me to email academic.support@ptc.com but the email does not seem to exist.   My team is using CREO to test the harnessing & cabling tools. Our test case is currently very simple at only two harnesses with associated four connectors. We are attempting to export our design in the .xml format built in to CREO but are then trying to parse this information and store it in an .xlsx or .csv document that represents the information better. Hello I have an issue. I currently have to create painting & labelling drawings for our products, which have to show where to paint, where and what type of sticker to apply, and what color stripes to paint on the OD. The problem is, the surface is round and tapered, I have tried to wrap text to the surface but not very successfully due to the tapered surface, and the same with the stripes.   I am doing the drawing, outputting as PDF, then importing into PowerPoint and wrapping shapes onto the drawing and resaving as PDF. it works but I would like to do it within Creo if I can. I was thinking if I create a sticker as a part then assembly it to the model, but can I wrap the part to the round & tapered surface. Does anyone know a better way to create stickers & stripes on a part. Thanks Peter

ThingWorx 8.5.15 Hi there -We have several use cases in which we need to perform a search via Windchill REST Services and present the paginated results in a Thingworx mashup.  Until now, I've focused on just getting the service and mashup combination to work.  Having done that, I wanted to add the ability for the end user to sort and search for data in the grid - similar to a DataTable.  I struggled with this for a while (documentation could be better) but finally got it working in a mashup and test service that returns a hard-coded list of seven rows of a simple Musician DataShape.  I now understand that sorting and searching of a grid must be done by way of a call to the source service used to populate the grid.  While that's not a big deal when using a tiny test service, it is noticeable.  And if it's "noticeable" with my test service, I have no doubt that it will be a performance killer when the service attempts to repeatedly search Windchill

For quite some time we've been able to publish pdf files of CAD drawings as an additional file type pdf.  Just recently the publish to pdf is failing, the plt file does publish correctly. I checked the two wvs.properties that PTC originally provided us that are required for publishing the pdfs, they are correct.  PTC also provided an xml file to place in the CreoView Configuration utility. The file is still there. The error message in the worker log file is as follows:proe2pv Error:2033: Failed to add file "C:/ptc/pv_share/w1i1j1/PDF_test_drw.pdf" to zip file - sopenI've looked at PTC tech support for this error, can not find this specific issue.  There are a few topics regarding error 2033 for publishing other types of formats but they don't mention any specific fixes regarding the zip file failure. Would appreciate if anyone out there has any ideas of what to try next.  

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.8.0Creo is sometimes loading the incorrect workspace cache. This is resolved by closing and reopening Creo but this is slowing down productivity.

I have an imported image (company logo) saved in a generic drawing format. When I attempt to copy that drawing format (using "Copy from Other Drawing" and "Entire Sheet") into a new drawing, the format shows up WITHOUT the image. Is there a way to "lock" the image into the drawing so that it will accompany the drawing when it's copied into a new one?

I'm not sure if I'm reading this CS134024 table correctly. We have Creo 8.0.6.0 and NX2007 (2027 minor version). Upgraded from Creo4 and NX1926. Creo8 can open (as in File/Open, change file type to NX *.prt and select "Open") an NX1926 saved file. It cannot do the same all NX2007. Does the "Open" without Unite read off of the import column compatibility? We don't have Unite but do work with both NX and Creo. Since our PLM is Windchill, Creo has to be the top-level assembly CAD for the multi-CAD projects that sometimes have to consume NX files. We definitely don't want to import and create a Creo .prt from the same existing NX .prt.

I am currently working on a mechanical flower where I will use a linear motion to create a radial motion from 0 to 90 degrees. The linear motion will be 40mm from a crankshaft and I am now having problems designing the rack and pinion. Is there any easy way to calculate or think about how the degrees and distances should be between the gears? I have done some research but have not found an easy way to calculate it and I would like some input on my current design. Right now I have the problem that the further the pinion moves upwards the more problems I get (see pictures). I would highly appreciate any help with this problem! Thanks in advance.     

I am using Creo Elements/Pro Release 5.0 Datecode M070I am a new user and I am working on a assembly print and I am having some difficulty displaying (what I believe to be) the top level assembly.My current BOM displays every component that is used in that final assembly. The final assembly is composed of individual components as well as a another assembly. There is an interesting note: my table does not display the name of my sub-assembly (only the components that used in that assembly). My current repeat region table attributes are: No Duplicates, Recursive, Bln by Part, No Cbl Info. This is how the table displays:Item number (4) and (5) belong to a sub-assembly named 1F-SOMB-14-1-S. On this BOM, the sub-assembly 1F-SOMB-14-1-S is not listed.I have performed some searches on this website and on the PTC.com knowledge base and I changed my attributes from Recursive to Flat. The results were not what I expected. Items (4) and (5) were simply removed from my table even though I did not r

So evidently, it is not out of the box functionality to be able to see a list of all the Windchill users? I am not sure how you can manage users without seeing who has an account on your system....So what is the best practice to get a list or report or ??? to see all the users of a Windchill system?Ideally, I would like to have first and last name, userid, email, etc... -marcCAD / PLM Systems Manager
