I had bought a license in August, I still can't get it activated. Now I'm trying again after giving up.

Hello, in my BOM I can see that a specific part appears twice, so it has to entries in the BOM.I used it in total 24 times in my assembly. One entry has 16 parts (qty), the other one 8. It is for sure excatly the same part (.prt), still I am not able to combine it. I saw the following article: https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/BOM-not-merging-part-quantities/td-p/571318   I did excatly the same, still the problem occurs. Let me know if you need some files, but the file is quite a big assembly with many many parts.   Greetings Spedex

Hi Expert Community,I have an application that requires to read data using Modbus serial at a fix rate (for example every 5 minutes). The complete data read by Modbus should be published using IoT Gateway MQTT. However an additional requirement is that using the System tag for DemandPoll, the MQTT client should trigger a new Modbus acquisition and also get the new set of values published immediately.Can you suggest how the scan rate in Modbus and in IoTGateway should be configured?Regards,  

ModelCHECK is telling me that I have views that do not have scale assigned, but my views DO have Default scale assigned. Is VIEW_SCALE working as intended here? I would think that Default scale would count as an assigned scale.

Although I can create a plot, I am not able to format it. The Symbol, Line Style, Color Scheme, Trace Thickness, and Surface Fill options are all grayed out. Only can change Trace Color.

I am trying to create a drawing template that uses a simplified rep for a view and a bom table that only shows the items shown in the simplified rep.  My template uses the simplified rep but the BOM table still shows all the items and qty's in the entire assembly.  Any suggestions on how to acheive this?   Thanks, Brian    

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS M020-CPS08In my workflow, the email notification does not send an email to the user assigned to a role when that role is in the Recipients. I recently added a group also to that notification and the group gets it, but the user does not. Here are the errors that I faced None

I work for Sconce and we have several Customers that I cannot service until my account is returned to its previous state, currently someone at PTC chnaged my account so that it looks like I am working for one of our Customers (ABS shipping) it wil be two weeks wed since this was changed and I have contacted the person on the case who requested it to be chnaged but nothing has been done yet

Some background, we were having some issues with properties connecting that do not change often. We changed the push type of the property to "Always" and this allowed good quality. According to best practices though, we shouldn't do this for many properties. In the same article, it mentions setting the Cache time would pull from the Edge device so we tried this in hopes these properties can pull these static values and connect. Issue: We're having trouble with setting the cache time of a remote property via service. I am using Creo Parametric 7.0 7.0.4.0What is the difference in assembly functionality between Creo Design Essentials and Creo Design Essentials Plus? I can see that Creo Design Essentials has ASSY_PERFORMANCE module compared to Creo Design Essentials Plus has ASSEMBLY module. Existing PTC Article CS58879 has a great list of Top Down Design functionality but it is not clear which functions are available with the new Creo Design Essentials licenses.

I have an instance where I am making a Swept Blend between several sets of sketches. The resulting solid has very poor curvature.  I know that if I could move the edge of one of my segments in a sketch that I would get a better looking Swept Blend.  The only problem is that the 2 adjacent sketch segments are a line and an arc.  I can split both of these segments but can not to my knowledge join them together. Is there any concatenate functionality within a sketch, just like there is outside of sketch using the copy and paste command? Below you can see the edge of curve that I would like to move, but not add a split.  

Hi Community, We created a grid using collection widget, which is working fine for us and is showing data as per expectation.But only two users are facing this issue that no data is loading for them on screen, but service is returning data in response. Although, I can see child mashup name in headers of network with Request Method as GET and Error code as 404.Is data loading on response and not on runtime because of this 404 error or can this be due to something else?Permissions seem to be working fine for user.

Hello,today I tried starting Creo (9.0.0.0 Student Edition), but it did not work.Also tried running as admin of course.So i decided to uninstall it and reinstall it. Now the setup.exe does not want to start.When i copy the files in a virtual machine (Windows Sandbox), the setup.exe does actually run.I also tried deactivating Windows Defender, but also this did not work.Absolute path is: C:\Users\chris\Documents\MED-100WIN-CD-460_9-0-0-0_Win64Restarted the PC multiple times.All drivers are updated to the newest version.Does somebody know what could have happend? GreetingsSpedex

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0Totally new to Creo. Trying to open up the ability to edit the configuration settings in ModelCHECK (Check Files, Start Files, etc.) so that we can create custom defaults- currently these options are greyed out. Can these settings be unlocked or what is the procedure to accomplish this? Thanks!

Hello,I develop a thingworx application and our application is in a site that publishes us as an iframe. But in this way, the cookies do not work anymore. Indeed, the domain name on my browser is no longer the one of the Thingworx application. And I have the impression that it does not fit anymore. Is it possible to configure the cookie domain name so that it works as an iframe? Thank you for your help.
