Is it possible to import multiple XML files, from Creo Schematics, into a single Creo Parametric Cabling component? In the past, my attempts to import multiple XMLs has caused the the new one to overwrite the old one.  I figured out it's possible to manually copy and past information from one XML into another using Notepad++. It's an inelegant solution and prone to error, but it does seem to work. Does anyone else have any better ideas?

As per the original post.    Well passed a decade on this one... have you figured out how to get auto-checkin to auto-create a wtpart? It still behaves that way out of the box. 

Is it possible to edit a Change Notice Description after it is created? Is there a setting or preference that I am unaware of that allows for this? Picture shows my created Change Notice with nothing entered in the Description. If I Edit the Change Notice there is no way to edit the Description. The fact that I did not initially enter a Description is not causing this.

We are currently trying to enhance the functionality of the Approval Matrix which is generated by a trigger script called MKS_ALM/CreateApprovalMatrix.js The script generates a basic HTML string for display. Since we want to enhance the funcitonality and add more data to the matrix as well as use this type of depiction for other use cases we are concerned that the clarity of a simple table will suffer greatly. Therefore we had the idea of creating tabs (html buttons) and change their visibility via some custom JavaScript code and custom CSS. Contradicting to this article it is indeed possible to make this work within the web client, because by default a scripts/custom.js is loaded. I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0I am running Creo Installation Assistant. Every time I enter the sales order number under "Node Locked License Generation" in the License Identification section, I keep getting an error message.Here are the errors that I facedError! Dear colleagues,Mathcad 3, Windows 10. I resolve the system of equations. I defined the function named "Pt(I,I2,...,Cbb)" which consist solution (''n'', and ''p") of these equations.  In the next solve block, I try to fit experimental data - two rows - N33, P33 (where I1 is X). But unfortunately, minerre algorithm does not work giving me the error. The program is a bit busy, but the main problem is only in the last solving block. Probably someone could identify a problem in the syntaxis of the last solving block which tries to fit data by function "Pt" and parameters "Nt" and "Et". Probably the problem is that "N" and "Et" are vectors.

with the VB API on Creo 5 I am using model.Erase()followed bywindow.Close() But the window remains open, though the model is erased.Is there a solution for this? Q: What is the equivalent API for 'Erase not Displayed'? I also tried window.Clear()but that was of no use. Regards,~Tushar

Hello everyone, I would like to simulate the stress vs. load angle in Creo. Instead of creating individual load set for every 20 degree, I would like to see if there is a way to define the load with the parameter relation, and make Creo run the analysis for with a new load for every 20 degree.  The load magnitude will stay the same, but the direction will change. I installed ThingWorx 9.1.1 (Postgres, Java 11, Windows) using installer. After the installation, I can't see ThingWorx-Foundation.exe in tomcat/bin folder. 

Greetings,  I have several sets of data for the tested strength of a material. The maximum number of data points in each data set is 5, so I really don't have a lot to work from. Also, I'm not as handy with statistics as I would like to be, so I'm throwing this to you guys. I need to take this data into a function and output a single value that represents the predicted safe lower limit of the data set for which 95% of all future tested samples will be higher. I'm basing this function on the Kolmogorov–Smirnov statistic and Student's T test.  The intention is to determine the safest strength of material based on tested data, but not be too conservative. I wrote this to do what I intend, however I'm not 100% sure if what I'm doing is based on sound statistical thinking. Below is a screenshot of the function and attached is the worksheet. Please, play with it and inform me of your thoughts.

Dear community, I've added to Studio some custom widgets from here https://github.com/steveghee/OCTO_Studio_extensions .In particular, I find very interesting the 3D-ListWe configured a Thing in hingworx to send to this widget the list of models that are saved in the server.i can then load a specific model on fly.My issue is that I want to also change the path where I look for different models. To do this there's a custom parameter to be filled.What I can do is change this parameter during the experience, but the widget is loaded only at the start at the experience so it'll look only in the path defined when the experience is launched.What I'm looking for is a way to reload the whole widget sending again the request to thingworx for new data.I tried the "Reset" and "Refresh" services but it doesn't seem to work

Hi, wondering if someone can help me out with this one please? Mathcad Prime 7 I have a vector [A], which could have any number of rows, each element can be either zero or one, and the origin element is always one. I have another vector [B], which has the same number of rows as [A], and contains data (forces). I would like to create another vector [C], where each element in [C] should equal the corresponding element in [B] if the corresponding element in [A] equals one. If an element in [A] equals zero then that value in [B] gets added to the last element in [C] that related to a one in [A]. That continues until another one appears in [A], and it starts again.
