Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I have created a new synchronization robot within one of my workflows. I am trying to make use of the synchronization robot to identify when the object that make use of the workflow is manually assigned to a specific phase within its life cycle. However, I am struggling to identify what syntax the expression needs to be in to achieve this.Description: I have been using the Javadoc to try to get an understanding of what syntax the expression needs to be in but have had no success. I have a basic understanding of API classes, objects, members of objects, properties of objects etc. However, I am still struggling to get my head around the documentation. Please can anybody who can help offer a suggestion as to what my expression should be and how the Javadoc can be used to develop the suggested expression?

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I am looking into how best to take advantage of the "Policy Administration" functionality to govern access to Windchill objects and am trying to understand how "Domains" behave within Windchill. I have looked at a lot of the resource in Windchill Help Centre but I still have a few questions.Description: 1. I am an Administrator but, when I look at my user account, my account is described to be in the "Unaffiliated" domain. As an Administrator, I would expect my account to be associated with the "System" domain. Can anybody explain? 2. Evidently, groups and users can be affiliated with certain domains. Does this mean that rules contained in one domain would not apply to a user if the user is not associated with that domain, even if the domain that the user is not described to be affiliated to lists a rule that would apply to one of the user groups that the user is a member of?

I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 9.2 and DatecodeSP6Hi,When I open http://localhost:8080/ its not connecting and giving me popup The site Cant be reached, but in services Tab tomcat services is running. While I upload a Thingworx.war file in Manage apps the localhost was just loading.

We’re working on a work instruction mashup in ThingWorx where the user needs to drag and drop a marker onto an image to indicate the specific location where an operator should perform a task.Is there a recommended way to implement this functionality within the ThingWorx Mashup runtime?Are there any widgets, extensions, or best practices that support drag-and-drop interaction over images?Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated!

We enabled sso in our Application, in our application we have react  page it redirects to new page without asking authentication.while we put the url to the new tab also it doesn't ask authentication

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: See the generated numberDescription: Hi, My request is to set autonumbering for objects while giving the user the ability to modify, for that I'm following this article How to Turn on Autonumbering for CAD document but also allow override the number during Save As or Rename in Windchill PDMLink. This is working and Windchill shows the label Generated, my question is it possible to let the user sees this number (during creation)?Because the user can modify the number, it's worth letting him see the one generated to decide whether to modify it or not.  Thanks in advance, #autonumbering #autonumber #numbering #numbering_schemes 

Tested a solution block in Part 1 of attached with scalar variables. Works just fine.However, when I change to column vector variables in part 2, I think that my element-wise array multiplication and division is not working out.Suggestions for correcting part 2 will be appreciated.Using Mathacd Prime 10.0.1.0.

Do We have to buy illustrator as an application addon or separate install or how does it work? Is there any way we can get a demo to try out before buy? We do a lot of installation drawings for military, and we are challenged with 2d drawings of interior assembly systems instructions. Want to see if Creo I is a good candidate and  helpful.

Hello, I am unable to change the width of a fiber shape. No matter what value of "width" I put in for shape properties of that fiber, the width remains the same on the diagram. Any help would be appreciated!Example: One of the fibers here has a width of "10" and the other had a width of "1" but it does not change the appearance 

How to change Windchill logo

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: I need to extract the check-in and check-out details of parts from Windchill data base. I located the table (EPM Document) and the column (State Checkout info) which has below values: 1. C/i 2. C/o 3. Wrk 4. Wrk-P I assume C/I & C/O mean check in and check out respectively. But what do WRK & WRK_P mean? Please advise.Description:  

I added a task out change task that is shall we say a good idea but not critical to the overall execution of the release. I notice that the these tasks are still running long after the change notice workflows are complete. I can manually go in and close them out since at this point, their need is no longer required. What is the best way to automate this?   I was thinking of adding a sync task that would spin up in parallel and when the change notice hits released state, close out this task. If the task closes first, it would close out the sync task and there by complete the workflow. Is this the only way to do this?

With Microsoft ending Support for the HoloLens 2, are there plans to Support Vuforia Studio Experiences on other devices like Apple Vision Pro or Meta Quest 3?  

Hi, I have used Kepware with Siemens WinCC SCADA in the past to communicate with Rockwell Control Logix PLC's but did not create any static tags within Kepware.  I created a tag database within WinCC and the WinCC SCADA tag addresses contain the path to the OPC topic and the controller tag within the PLC.  I am now looking at an existing FTView SE application that is using Kepware to communicate with Mitsubishi PLC's but has created static tags within the Kepware configuration so the FTView application uses the Kepware static tags directly without having to create HMI tags in the FTView application.Are there any performance advantages by creating static tags in Kepware and using them directly within the FTView  application as opposed to creating the tags within the FTView system ?  How does the Kepware comms driver handle comms in these two situation ?

It seems that with 2.0.0.5 version the posting of items no longer works with the REST API?We know that the future is with Swagger but it was never announced that REST calls would be disabled. Hi, In a child mashup I have a grid with rows. I exposed a grid parameter (selectedRows) and bound it to the mashup parameter which is also of infotable. But when I try to use this parameter in the parent mashup, I don’t get any data.   Instead, I see developers usually create expressions then bound that mashup parameter of infotables singe value like field in it... to extract single values (like Id, State) and pass those to the parent.  Is this the expected behavior? Why can’t the parent directly consume the InfoTable parameter? Is there a clean way to expose the whole SelectedRows to the parent, or is best practice to always send only the needed values? Thanks!   my expression which i bind from my mashup parameter(infotable type and use that single field to bind with input parameter of this expression ) to get the value and then bind the output again to the mashup parameter which is of string type to get that value in parent mashup....    

Hi Community,   I’m trying to get the part name when clicking on a component in the ThingView widget (PVZ model).   What happens   SelectedOccurrencePath updates (e.g., /0/3/4), so the click is detected. SelectedParts stays empty → no part name or ID is returned.   Question   How can I resolve the occurrence path (e.g., /0/3/4) to the actual part name like 30702722.PRT? Do I need special PVZ publish settings or a widget option so that SelectedParts is populated with part metadata? Expected output when clicking a part: Name: 30702722.PRT Path: /0/3/4   Has anyone implemented this or any idea how to get it?   Thank you

Article cs366586 refers to creating 2 mapping xml files. When I run the windchill wt.org.util.ReconnectPrincipalsUtility command below, it errors with mapping file not found. I assume that both the dnMapping and adapterMapping files need to be placed in a $WT_HOME directory before running the windchill comand. Hello, I often find the floating dashboard that appears when selecting something to be located right over what I am trying to work on in both the drawings and models. Is there some way I can simply dock it to one location? like the corners of the screen? See below picture for an example of the menu I am describing.

After installing codebeamer 2.1 with psostgresql, codebeamer is running and the homepage http;/localhost:8080/cb is up but when I try to login using the credentials entered during installation there is an error: Invalid User Credentials!   Lost password does not send a password reset email.   Can create new accounts, but a admin account is needed to compete post-install config.
