Hello,  I have exactly the same issue as into this topic : Kepware Trust certificates - PTC Community Can you please tell me if somebody has some solution regarding this topic ? On my side, I put on the Kepware Certificate Store the certificate of Thingworx Server. We have identified the FlexNet publisher installed automatically with the Kepware install as a cyber vulnerability and want to remove it. We have KEPServer EX6 v6.6.350.0 installed. It is using a lic file for licencing.Can the FNPLicencingService application in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Macrovision Shared\FlexNet Publisher be removed without impacting the running of the KepWare application?

it's a warning in the log of Kepware ,It says "Write request timeout on device'FP_A_U4_Pester.Overwrapper' and 'FP_A_U4_Pester.Overwrapper Unable to write to address on device .Address ='PLC1:.fold_TuT_AlarmInterlock' I use OPC -DA protocol establish communication between Kepware and FP_A_U4_Pester.Overwrapper , and I use Advance tag to write a boolean to PLC ( "PLC1:FP_A_U4_Pester.Overwrapper.fold_TuT_AlarmInterlock") ,I check from the PLC of machine , it's successful sent the boolean from Kepware to PLC1:FP_A_U4_Pester.Overwrapper.fold_TuT_AlarmInterlock ,my question is why I have a warning message when Kepware have a successful sending ? if you want get any further information ,please contact me any time when you are free .thanks a lot.

Is there a Creo Parametric setting that will make the Measure Distance tool launch with Setup and Results both expanded? Every time it launches it has them both collapsed. I want the tool to launch by default with them both expanded.  Yes, this is only a couple of mouse clicks, but this has to be repeated many times per day, and the expand/collapse buttons are really small.  So, this is a non-trivial headache.

If I type the equation using variables, Is there a way to get MathCAD to automatically show the values in the equation before it calculates the answer?For example, I set the variables...A:=4B:=3...then I type the equation...C:=A+B=...then MathCAD automatically adds "4+3=7" so it looks like...?C:=A+B=4+3=7...Then if I change the variables...A:=23B:=45...MathCAD automatically updates...?C:=A+B=23+45=68

Hello. Does anybody know if it is possible to achieve the scenario above? I have created a custom "Problem Report Workflow". The OOTB "Problem Report Workflow" contains a synchronize robot that should result in the state change of the problem report being set to "Resolved" when the associated change request is completed. I have replicated this config with my custom problem report workflow but I have adapted the synchronize robot with the aim of it synchronizing when the change notice completes. This is in ciontrast to it synchronizing when a change request completes. I'm not aware of any issues with my new workflow. However, I've noticed that I cannot add problem reports into the "Associated Process Objects" table when creating the change notice. Consequently, I don't think I have a way of my problem reports becoming "Resolved" at the same time as the change notice completing if I cannot add the problem report to the change notice as an "Associated Process Object".

In my attached program, I'm getting the wrong value. The A value should calculate 6.01 mm... However, MathCAD 9.0.0.0 calculates 15.77 mmI double checked my numbers and ran them through a calculator and I got 6.0086. I presume I have the wrong units somewhere, but I can't figure it out. I attached my program for review, or you can look at the screen capture of the calculations below. Thanks,     Brent 

I have the following boundary and an angle with the origin  Pr and Mr are 1 x n vectors. I need to find, by interpolation, what is the value of Pr and Mr that correspond to the angle. what is the easiest way to do that on Mathcad?I am using Mathcad prime 9.0.0.0. Attached the file

In January 2024 the license file contained following INCREMENT blocks: INCREMENT MathcadPrime INCREMENT MATHCAD INCREMENT 254 INCREMENT 255 INCREMENT 256 INCREMENT 257 Today the license file contains following INCREMENT block, only: INCREMENT MathcadPrime License file belongs to old permanent locked Mathcad license bought in the distant past.   Can someone explain it? Hi Community,   I am working on ThingWorx 9.3 and would like to use the ThingView widget in a mashup to visualize PVZ/3D models    However, I cannot find the ThingView widget in the widget list inside Mashup Builder. From the documentation, I understand that the widget should be delivered with the Creo View WebGL Extension, but I do not see this extension listed under Monitoring → Extensions in Composer.   My questions: Where can I download or find the Creo View WebGL Extension for ThingWorx 9.3? as i have read in docu https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/For-use-Creo-View-widget-in-Thingworx-I-need-a-Pluging-for-my/td-p/512396 and its mentioned here that The ThingView widget is delivered with the Creo View WebGL Extension, which is automatically installed as part of ThingWorx Apps.   Are there specific installation steps I need to follow to enable the ThingView widget?   Does having Creo Illustrate must inst

I'm using MathCAD 9.0.0.0. How come MathCAD is unable to solve these simple equations? 

See attached. I'm using MathCAD 9.0.0.0 and am having a few problems...Is there a way to put a bar above the variable Yf so it looks like ? I found something online about using the Windows Character  Map and I can copy the bar symbol, but it won't paste in MathCAD.The last few equations are showing values with a long trail of decimal places following "explicit,ALL." Is there a way to limit it to displaying only 3 or4 decimals? I set it in "Math Formatting > Results > Display Precision," but that seems to have no effect.Alternatively, is there a way to break long equations to have them continued on the next line? The following values are off...T=19.76*10^3 and it should be 19,786 N-m. That's only slightly off.P=1.3*10^6 W and it should be 207,201 N-m/s(W). That's way off.HP=1.744*10^3 and it should be 278 hp. That's way off. Is that all because of a rounding error, Something I did wrong, or is MathCAD misinterpreting one of my variables?Thanks,      &

In Mathcad 15, after selecting a portion of an equation with the spacebar, you could hit Insert on the keyboard to toggle between inserting before or after the selection. It doesn't seem to work in Prime. Is there a way to accomplish this, or do you just have to click closer to the beginning/end before hitting the spacebar?

I have a table that we use to capture Rev History.  Whenever we add a row to this table, the text size and text alignment does not carry the alignment from the previous row.  Is there a way to set it the text size and alignment (or even style) for each column so that newly added rows don't need to be specifically defined? The first row under the headers shows how I want ever added row to behave.  The second row shows what I am currently getting in regards to Vertical Alignment, Horizontal Alignment, and Text Size. Currently using Creo 10.0 

I purchased the student edition of Mathcad for a class I am taking this semester. I was having issues with the download on my laptop, and there was an assignment due, so I went ahead and downloaded it on my PC. I just tried to download Mathcad on my laptop, and it is saying "You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type." I was unaware that I would not be able to use the software on multiple devices, and it is much more important for me to have it on my laptop than PC. Is there a way I can get the software on my laptop without having the purchase another license?

I have a number of updates to do for about 100 parts so want to make use of the import from spreadsheet. The OEM parts, Mfg and vendor parts all exist. What I am looking to do is have each part of 2 MFG parts and those two MFG parts have a vendor part which is basically the same part. Also, in some cases, the AML exists partially meaning that the MFG parts are already linked. We are just adding the additional vendor part relationship.  The sheet validated ok but import failed with "Sourcing entry already exists".  Resorting the sheets ... I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 9.2 and DatecodeSP12We had an issue in one of the production site where we are unable to write the property of one thing which has been created to communicate with the kepware server and updating the kepware tags.Please assist us further on this case and it is impacting the production as well as business application.We have attached the error snapshots which was captured from the thingworx application logs and script log while we are trying to update the property.

While working on an answer to a question here in the forum, I noticed two bugs in Prime concerning the symbolics. I could not be bothered to report them the "official" way (too complicated, I am too old to be forced to jump through that many loops) so I post them here for your information and of course for PTC staff if they really are interested to improve their software (just joking...) Both bugs are already present in Prime 6 and still are in Prime 10.   Bug #1: Simplification of an expression using "floor" and the Heaviside function returns a wrong result! BTW, the bug is due to the 'new' symbolics. When we switch back and use the legacy symbolics (only available in P6 and below) we get a correct result     Bug #2 "clear.sym" does not clear a range variable. It should make it undefined for symbolic operations. "clear" works OK, but it also makes the variable undefined for the numerics. Interestingly the operation works as it should when a second variable is added

I have a vector of data points, and I'd like to be able to selectively plot just a portion of that vector. For example, I have a vector value:=[2 3 5 8 13 21] and I want to plot just elements 2, 3, and 4. I created an index:=[2 3 4] and tried to plot value[index on the vertical axis. I've tried both the chart component and the native plotting tool, and neither worked. The only way I've figured out how to do this is to write a mathcad program to fill a third vector with just the portion that I wish to plot, then plot that third vector. That's awkward. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I have tried multiple times to download the current version of MathCAD Express, but the system has never sent the promised "installation" EMail. I have requested help from sales, but no response. I've been using MathCAD since version2 in the 1980s, but lost access to the "home use" license when I retired a few years ago. I just need MathCAD now for hobby use, with no commercial or professional usage at all. The computer that the home use version was installed on is no longer functional, so I need a copy for the new computer. Most of my hobby stuff is in MathCAD15, some is in Prime 5-8.
