In the Creo Part File, I have a Part as a body, <A> In that I have created 2 appearances (1. Black[Which is default], 2. Green[New one])<B> In Combined State, has 1. Default All (referencing Black Appearance), 2. Paint (Referencing Green Appearance)<C> I can switch between them in the part, and it does what I need it for In the Creo .DWG File, I reference the same Part as above, <A> Sheet 1 references some views that have the Combined state Default with Black Appearance <B> Now I have a new sheet(Sheet 2) that has some views for the (At least that is the intent) Combined State of the Paint with Gren Appearance<C> Keep a note that all the Vies are shading with Edges But the Problem is that I never show black and green on sheets 1 and 2, respectively; it always goes to the default appearance that the part has, so if I change the part's appearance/ combined state, that drawing force changes for all sheets Do you have a

My objective is to machine the internal contour using tool radius compensation (CUTCOM) and to ensure smooth ramp transitions between Z-level passes or using helical folling the profile to avoid marks on the final surface.I have tried the following approaches:The Cut Line strategy allows helical movements and smooth transitions between passes, but it does not support tool radius compensation (CUTCOM). This is a requirement for my process.The Profile Milling strategy does support CUTCOM, but it does not offer ramp or spiral entry between Z-level cuts. As a result, the tool plunges vertically at each level, which causes unwanted marks and steps in the internal diameter of the part.I've tried to explore all the SCAN_TYPE parameters. It works great, but sometimes users forget to add the attachment, which results in none of the necessary attributes being populated. Is there a way to throw a warning (or error that can then be bypassed) to the user during check-in to tell them they are missing the attachment? I created an assembly representing a commercial ball joint, called SKF_GE-4-C. This assembly is composed by a housing mounted by default and a sphere mounted with a "ball" connection type. If I drag components, everything is working fine at this level.Then I used this file as a component for another assembly called SUB, mounted as rigid. If I drag components, everything is working as expected at this level as well.However, when I insert SUB in another assembly called MAIN and try to constrain the hole of the ball with a fixed shaft, everything locks in place. I am not able to move the beam with drag components as I intend to do.Is it possible to get it to move preserving the same (or a similar) structure of assembly? What do you suggest? Using Creo 9.0.9.0. Files in attachment for reference.

I have the excel in that some type are there for e.g. frame size and its W,A etc. is there, I am trying to create this in Mathcad when I type the frame name it will automatically shows the all parameters related to that how this is possible in Mathcad for this I am using lookup function if anyone done this in past or have any suggestion how to achieve this pls comment on this I also attached the sheet and excel file.

Hello, I am adjusting the size of the dimension arrows in the detail options to make them smaller since we have many drawings where they are packed full of dimensions. I found the options to adjust the arrowhead height and length, but I can't find one to shorten the length of the tail. (see attached picture). Any help would be greatly appreciated.  

I have created two attributes in Windchill that makes use of enumerated value lists. I have introduced cascading attribute rules against the object type which is associated to the two attributes. My cascading attribute rules stipulate that if a value for attribute 1 is set to X, then the value for attribute 2 should be set to Y. I have configured the "Create New Layout" for this object type to contain these two attributes. When I set the value of attribute 1 to X, attribute 2 does not display a value of Y automatically. Instead, the dropdown list of values associated with attribute 2 decreases to two to select from - a value of Y and an option to set the attribute value to blank. I want attribute 2 to be set to a value of Y without giving the user the ability to select between a value of Y or blank. I am aware that it is possible to specify that attribute 2 should not include any blank options in the dropdown list it is associated with. This file is in MathCAD 9, but I'm experiencing the same issue in MathCAD 10. I believe MathCAD is misrepresenting the units. See attached. "Hmp" and "TH" have the wrong values when comparing with example 11.2 at the bottom. I rewrote them as H and T next to them. I substituted "m" and "Ump" for the actual values of 100000 and 1035 and the answers came out correct. So, something is wrong with how "m" and "Ump" are represented.

I have a mathcad 14 file made by someone else and I am having difficulty to get it to calculate properly I select 'Calculate now', 'Calculate Spreadsheet' and 'Automatic Calculation' and none of them actually seem to calculate. For a colleague it seems to work and we were unable to find the reason. for example, my colleague gets a plot here perfectly and I get this:  what could be causing this? the file is attached 

Hi,  How do I install the XMCD/MCD converter on PTC Mathcad Prime 10? Is the only way to uninstall and reinstall Mathcad and select the extension? This is on a work computer so is there any other way to install it without doing that? Thanks 

Hi, Is it possible to set the model accuracy of all components in an assembly to "Absolute" at once?I tried creating a mapkey, but it requires opening each part one by one, which is a tedious task. Any tips would be appreciated.

We have created combined views in our Creo start parts which are used for MBD purpose. Now we have a requirement to update the previous Creo Models with the Combined views created recently. That is why I would like to know if these combined views can be imported from the models which have the combined views.The other option that we could think of to achieve this is to create a Mapkey. Our current Creo Parametric version is 10.0.6.0. Any suggestions would definitely help.

The MathCAD code generated by Chatgpt is pasting as text instead of Math input, and due to this issue it need to be manually typed in MathCAD. Is there any solution exist for this issue.

After test installing the latest Creo 9 Platform Services Update Patch and the new PTC Universal Browser Utility as documented here (Creo and WWGM CEF Patch Table | PTC), I notice a new PTC executable running with Creo Parametric when signed in to Windchill, located in the Creo Platform Services load path.  I cannot find any mention of "ptc_uiservice.exe" in the PTC Knowledge Base or the PTC Community.   I have opened a PTC Support Case to add it to CS245546 and CS110511 with further details. Does anyone have any information on this new executable? 

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing fine!I recently calculated soil friction resistance force along subsea pipeline using Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0.However, when I was inserting chart components to visualize the force along subsea pipeline, I got the message "This value must be real." in the chart component.Can someone please help? What are the practical differences between Always, Read Only, & Only Design Study?I have a weld fixture on a positioner that handles three parts and I'm trying to figure the cg from rotation for the fixture itself, then one for each of the parts. I'm also trying to do this without using a family table so I can have the dimensions all in one view.

Hi Community,   I want to design a mashup where Products are shown as columns and Machines as rows. Inside the cells, admins can add or remove “Errors.”   Example mockup:   Both Products and Machines are dynamic (number of columns and rows can change). Hi Community,   I have an InfoTable with several fields, and I would like to use one of those fields as the source for a Dropdown widget. The issue is that this field can contain duplicate values, but in the dropdown I only want to show distinct values. Right now, the only way I see is to create a separate service that takes the InfoTable and returns only the distinct entries.    My question: Is there any way to achieve this directly in the mashup (e.g., via Data Filter, Query, or some built-in option) without having to write an additional service?   Thanks in advance for your ideas!
