Hi, Will the thingworx foundation not run without the license installed? The ThingWorx foundation is installed in our server but we have not applied the license. Whenever we start the tomcat and try to run without license, the tomcat automatically stops. Is there a dependency of license for apache and thingworx foundation to run? Is it not possible to up the thingworx foundation to run as unlicensed version and import entities and apply the license later?    Thanks & Regards, Shalini V.

When a user clicks an option on a drop down on a mashup when using an iPad , the tool tip appears at the top left corner. (see image) This only seems to be an issue with drop downs. Tool tips appear to work currently on other widgets using the iPad. Any fixes? I need tool tips to function, so I can't hide them.  

Hi TW Gurus, Need to know, How to connect to SQL server from a thing, I have created using base thing as database. I was using trial version of TW.   Driver Class: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver Connection String: jdbc:sqlserver://XXXXXXXX:1433;databaseName=XXXX Privided user and password   in the log - I am getting this below error: Unable to start thing ConnectSQlServer, JDBC Driver Class Not Found: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver   am I missing anything? ~PC  

I am attempting to create a repeat region that sums the mass of different material types in an assembly.  The issue is I have different common names using the same material in the table.  I know I can do this through filter, but I am being asked to provide a different solution.  Oh yeah - I don't know how to write relations!   Appreciate any guidance, Helena

Hello,   when I use solve, is there any way to hide/format the solve output? Namely, printing "->  24.109V" in the following example instead of the crazy fractional output that bloats the document and reduces it's readability?     Thank you all.

I am trying to solve a system of equations but I have 3 knowns. When I try to define the knowns, if I use a subscript, I get the error message: "these units are not compatible" or: "the variable is undefined. Check that the label is set correctly."   I've defined variables and knowns with subscripts before and I don't know what I am doing wrong. Thanks for the help.   PS: This is a continuing post from an earlier problem and I keep on running into new and exciting problems 🙂  

Hi, I have 10 licenses ptc_navigate_author_named. But the problem is that I can't use any license     If I see the User Groups, I have not a group "navigate_author_named_group. This group should be created automatically from LicensingSubSystem, is it right ?.     Can someone help me, please? Hi All;   Is there a way to expand Vuforia Chalk capabilities to add monitoring features? It is possible to merge Chalk with spatial toolbox? It would be very nice to be on a Chalk call with marks and at the same time have the capability to monitor KPI and even modify logic as spatial toolbox does.   Thanks for all.

I was trying to add some new mapkeys to our custom tab in the ribbon in Creo 4-m090 and I discovered, much to my consternation that it's propagating those options to all modes of the ribbon. GRRRRRR!!!!   I've finally saw the help doc and David Martin's video on this subject. I suppose some would think this is an enhancement. I don't, it's an irritation, and it wasn't obvious how to change it without referring to additional documentation. A radio button in the UI to propagate or not propagate would have been helpful instead of hiding it under a right click.    My mapkeys are mode dependent. I don't want to add mapkeys to the ribbon in a mode where it will fail. Right clicking on each thing I add to limit it to a specific mode seems like a lot of extra work.    I'm hoping there is a hidden config that will restore the behavior to the old method where you have to be in the mode to add things to that mode. Is there such an option?   I didn't see one in the st

Hi, This is the second time I'm facing this issue.I've tried parcticing Thingworx manufacturing and imported extensions related to it and then tried to delete the but weren't able to delete. Moreover, they are creating lots of errors in Application logs and I'm afraid that it's affecting also the performance of ThingWorx platform. Hello everyone,   I'm new to the front-end side of development regarding ThingWorx. Recently we had an issue on our Mashups.   We use a 'Master Mashup' (Header Only) to create a 'Navigation Bar' so we can navigate between our dashboards.    The 'Master Mashup' Header (Flex Container) is set to Grow and Shrink all nested containers. And this is working accordingly (child containers are resized accordingly). However, we have some 'Label' widgets inside those child containers whose dimensions are set in a static manner (for e.g. Width and Height '50' px).    For some resolutions (For e.g. FULL HD) we have no issues. However, if we keep decreasing the resolution we note that the 'Label' widgets do not Grow/Shrink accordingly, and this is causing some deforming to occur.   Any pointers on how to make the 'Label' widget resize itself accordingly?   Best regards

Community, Is there a way to make a leader note that contains a non-leader balloon note that has a number?  For example, you have a leader note that contains part number and beside the part number will be a circled item number.  I want to combine the two so if I need to move the view, the two will float with the view.

Hello folks,   I'm trying to get the AfterLoader set up...  when following the instructions for running the following   javac -classpath %CLASSPATH%;%WT_HOME%\srclib\tool\Annotations.jar -d %wt_home%\codebase AfterEDRloader.java   i get a invalid flag error... I'm a touch new... I don't think there are environment variables set on my install.  What would my %CLASSPATH% be set to?   Thanks for any help.

Hi All,   I have an infotable to store marks of students which has a field named "marks". Can I get the count of students who got 90,75, 35 etc.... Example 7 students scored 90, 3 students scored 50.   I need the percentage of students that scored particular mark. In above case 70 percent scored 90 marks, 30 percent scored 50 marks.   I am trying to use Donut chart to represent the percentage of occurance of each mark.   Thanks and Regards, Bhanu.   @CarlesColl

Blank screen is coming after login with Thingworx user on Form Login page of my organization   My user is part of user group and user group is a member of Organization   Home mashup of organization is already assigned with landing mashup and that mashup is being given the required permissions, Application log is showing error Entity Not Found : [PlatformSubsystem] but platform subsystem is present in my Thingworx 9 environment   Thanks in advance.
