I am running CREO 3.0 M090 I have a large assembly with multiple sub-assemblies. I have a total of around 2000 parts in this large assembly. Of the 2000 parts, 1500 are reference only and 500 are real, or new, parts.   How can I run a Mass an CG analysis on only the 500 real parts and not include the 1500 reference only parts?

When is the isConnected property in the remote thing will update? Is it the time websocket connection established or it will update when data reaches the data from sdk or based on the alwaysOn protocol which will keep on updated by the pings?   -thanks, Abhiram

How do i make the Layout portion scrollable?I mean.., lets say i create a mashup. On which i put a layout of 2 columns. On the left column, i put a map widget which should not be scrollable. On the right column, i put some 2 tabs. And under each tab i wish to have some 24 time series charts in 12x2 pattern. So, i wish to make the right column scrollable. How do i achieve this?

Hello, It seems to be happening more frequently that while working on a more involved AR Experience in Vuforia Studio the window suddenly goes blank, except for the message "not enough memory" or "something went wrong" (see attached). I'm using the latest version of Chrome, and my PC is quite powerful with 50GB available memory.   What could be the issue? It keeps interrupting my work. 😕   Thanks! Wes

I try to create a symbolic matrix (in my example, the matrix RES  ).  The problem is that I cannot have the result in the form of a matrix, the only way to obtain what I want is to say that RES is not a matrix and is depending on two others variables corresponding to the indexes of the "matrix" (RES2 solution in the attached file question.xmcd). However, I need to use this result after and I need to have the result in the form of matrix.   How can I do to obtain my result in the form of a matrix ?   Thanks !

Hi,    I have connected a KEPServerEX6 to ThingWorx and the isConnected property reads TRUE.  When I try to add properties to the Remotething from a remote binding, no properties are available.I have blurred out some parts of serveradress and thing names due to company resctrictions. I think my main question is why does Creo 5.0 not let me use angle offset in combination with a distance mate? I want to have an angle between two faces, as well as use an edge to fix the part in a distance from the base of the assembly. But I cannot select the edge to do a distance mate, it makes me select the whole face. And when I select the face it says the constraint is invalid because the distance constraint makes it parallel which takes away the angle constraint I applied. How do I select the edge in assembly mode? I have searched all over the internet for the answer and cannot. Apparently in Creo 3.0 assembly mode you could select an edge in a dropdown window when you are placing the part but Creo Parametric 5.0 does not have that.   I am very experienced with Solidworks and have only about a month into Creo. Creo is very un-intuitive to use and doesn't flow quite as well as Solidworks. Also there's not much documentation on Creo which isn't helpful at all either.

I have a project on HoloLens, I've been working on since a while. All of sudden the voice command won't work! When I tried to say "help" Vuforia view would list all the commands available, but I cannot access one. The commands also have a response which I expect to hear whenever my voice recognised, but it didn't. The commands linked with gestures, which work.   I tried an old project, voice command work as expected. But the current project I have no idea what the problem is!   Any clue what the problem could be?

In a sketch, I've drawn a spline between two straight lines at the ends, with a couple of control points in between. Tangency and curvature continuity constraints were applied to the ends, and the control point locations were fixed with dimensions. Then I made a symmetric version of the straight lines, joined them with a new spline, and applied the same end constraints to the spline. I made the control points symmetric too. So the conditions should be exactly the same, in mirrored orientation: The shapes of the splines should be perfectly symmetric, but as you can see if you look closely at the curvature plots, they are not.   I tried mirroring the spline itself, with the same asymmetric result. I also tried to delete the constraints and re-apply them, to no avail.   Is there any way to fix this? I have a feeling that it has to do with the influence of the curve connections, although unlike with Style or Round there is no influence length number to adjust. It's weird becau

Hello all, whenever I try to solve this mathematical equation, it always gives me an error.  I am pretty sure I am doing osmething wrong or not writing the equationj ina proper way, but until now havnt found out any solution to fix this problem.    It will be very kind of your experts to kindly help me out in this small issue.  The file is attached, in this file you will see "b_limit", which always shows an error for bing_bent, can anyone help me out to solve this please?   Best Ashutosh Mukherjee

The newly introduced question "Do you want to open a case with PTC Cloud Services?" when opening a new case defaults (in my case) to YES. I think the default should be NO, as this is the majority of cases. Any thoughts?

Hi,    The header of the tree grid doesn't display correctly after the page get loaded .  Only after triggering data binding ,for example, by click a certain , then the header can display well .   Version: ThingWorx 8.4,  grid-advanced-4.2.0.   Regards, Sean 

When I set the whole model's opacity to 0.1, and start animation the model will show -by default- animated parts with opacity = 1. Which is good, i'm expecting my user to see only the animated part, not the whole model.   However, the animated parts are not all of them will be shown (opacity = 1) only some of it.   for example, in creo illustrate   on this step, I started by flashing the highlighted parts, then followed by unscrewing the nut and bolt. In Vuforia Studio/View, while the model is transparent it only shows the unscrewing with opacity = 1 (while flashing is not shown following model's transparency).   - I'm not sure what is the exact behaviour I'm expecting? - What is the best practice for only showing the animated (instruction related) part?     Regards,  

Attached is a little problem in 4.0 that has me stumped - not sure how to set it up to solve.   The problem is for a pump - which we know performance of.  I need to find the speed to deliver the required flow and pressure must exceed the requirement (it can be higher) and the speed should be such that the consumer power is lowest while meeting the flow & pressure needs.  Since efficiency/flow/head curves vary it's possible that the lowest power speed delivers more pressure than necessary, but does so efficiently.   Everything works up to the solve block, and despite many attempts I can't figure out how to formulate it.
