Hi thereThis is a weird problem. Basically I downloaded the setup.exe for the Vuforia trial version and I cannot install the program as Windows Defender views the program as a threat. I've tried disabling Windows Defender, adding an exception and even trying to install the program through Command Prompt and I've had no such luck. Every attempt and this image surfaces. Typing in the URL in the image prompts me with a login that refuses to recognise my credentials, even though I have a login. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello PTC Community! I would like to copy a specific view from one drawing file to another drawing file. NOTE: I am aware of "ADD MODEL" into the current drawing. My requirement is only view should copy from one file to another without having any link between those files.   Please help

What does the following line mean? "[INFO ] 2019-04-17 00:18:48,841 CrewRover1_wwong: Attempting to GetPropertySubscriptions from server failed. code: 500, result:" I keep getting this line in my LSR log, but i'm not sure what it means.   Another line I'm not sure about is.... "[WARN ] 2019-04-17 00:19:11,60 thingworx.server: Could not set properties on server. code: 500, resp:" What is causing these lines?  Does it mean that my EMS and LSR are not bound correctly?   How can I fix these? Please see the attached LSR log file for the full log.

Hi,   I have an issue in deploying war file on the server. whenever i deploy war file my tomcat server stops after few second automatically. I've tried reinstalling everything again, but I still have the same issue. In application log file it shows the license expiration issue. for this i have regenerated the license ,but still i am facing the issue. Here is the log files attached of my last try.   Below is screenshot of an issue i am facing whenever i deploy my license file and restart my tomcat and trying to load it.       Thanks in advance. how to upgrade version of from Thingworx 8.3 to 8.4

Hi, I was upgrading the license of 8.2 in a machine as it was expired. When I generated a new license and replaced it in Platform folder, it got ignored. After multiple attempts, the licensing was not successful. I formatted the whole installation and re installed ThingWorx 8.2 and when I tried to put the license , keyword password was generated but license request file was not generated.  How can I resolve this? I have attached the application log.

I recently installed Creo 6, and after installation created a shortcut on the windows 10 taskbar.  The target is my install ("C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 6.0.0.0\Parametric\bin\parametric.exe") with the start in set to my working directory.  Creo 6 launches with all the correct configurations, but shows up in the task bar ungrouped with the shortcut and shows up as "Creo 5".   If I right click on the open windows icon in the task bar it says "Creo 5" and if I click properties on "Creo 5" I get shortcut properties listing the target as "C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 5.0.0.0\Parametric\bin\parametric.exe".   Where is this coming from?  I did a full uninstall of Creo 5 prior to installing 6.  I cant find any system/environment varriables pointing at this path, or any registry entries pointing to Creo 5.  The Creo 5.0.0.0 directory does not exist either.

We have a use case where we need to publish documents managed in PTC Integrity to external cloud FTP Sites (Box/OneDrive etc.). We want to know if we can use ThingWorx Flow to connect Integrity and ensure document has been published upon release

Hello, our customer is starting using MPMLink on productive system and they are going to work with with the MAPS Browser. Let`s assume we have on the right hand side an eBOM and on the right hand side the corresponding mBOM.   The eBOM looks like   Product - Assembly_1 QTY 4 --Part_1 QTY 3 --Part_2 QTY 2 ...     The mBOM looks like   Product -Assembly_1 QTY 2 --Part_1 QTY 2 --Part_2 QTY 4   -Assembly_2 QTY 1 --Part_1 QTY 8   So in total we have the same quantity of all parts. The discrepancy search will show differences in the quantity. Is there a way to handle such uses cases?

Hello Everyone I have a mıtsubıshı automation education set which consist of servo motors-drivers, asynchronous motor and I want to create an Augmented Reality application which shows motors rpm and errors but I am not sure how to do this. I have a work-flow  like this; First I have to connect this set to IOT gateway via ThingWorx Industrial Connectivity so I can able to reach motors rpm data and errors. And to show this data(motors rpm and  errors) in my Augmented Reality application I think, I should use Vuforia Studio.  Are these steps right? Thank you for all respons.

Just downloaded the trial to test Vuforia Studio. What does PTC recommend that I use as a replacement for the validator widget in TWX 8.4? Seems that the validator widget has been removed in this version (or, at the least, it's be renamed to an unobvious name).   Thoughts?

Hi, We are deploying Thingworx 8.4 on Azure VM with connectivity to Azure managed Postgres. Our production would comprise of 3 instances of Azure VM running Thingworx platform and all of them connected to one DB (with geo-redundancy soln) Could someone clarify following questions please? 1. All logs are stored in ThingworxStorage folder. As per the details given in post below, "If ThingworxStorage folder is accidentally deleted, entities and data are secure in the external database". https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS257403&source=snippet           a) Which DB tables are these logs stored?           b) Can I configure two postgres DB such that transactional logs are pushed into one DB while Thingworx configurations go into another postgres DB? Hi All,   previously with Windchill 10.1 we where able to checkout only the instance and generic when editing an instance of a family table part - which constists i.e. in adding / changing a number/letter in a parameter (which of course is contained in the family table). But now on Windchill 11.0 I found no way to do this. It always happens that the whole family table is being checked out! We are also using ModelCHECK Gatekeeper since years, and this has never been a problem becaus only the edited variant needed to be verified then. What am I doing wrong? Did you also come across this problem?

Hi,   I have studied REST API example given at https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/thingworx-rest-api-quickstart .   It uses command line tool HTTPie for GET/PUT the property value.   Is there any way to by using web browser instead of using command line?   Thanks, shreekant
