Hello, We've been using MathCAD 15 for years and have many calc's made using Combo Boxes.  I recently upgraded my machine to Windows 10 and get errors when opening our programs.  We got a new computer for a new hire last year with Windows 10 and everything worked seamlessly.  I think I may have figured out the problem, but I have no idea how to solve it.  The ComboBox that we use is apparently the Microsoft Forms 2.0 ComboBox, it shows up as below on my co-workers MathCAD under the Insert Component.  However when I go to the same location the option for Microsoft Forms 2.0 ComboBox doesn't exist.  How do I load or install the Microsoft Forms 2.0 Objects?  I've searched online everywhere and can't find anything that works.   

Trying to see if AR will suit a particular use case, which has an image inserted into the model (View-->Model Display-->Images).  When I publish the model from Creo and subsequently view the experience in Vuforia View, the model displays, but not the inserted image.  Is this simply not supported, or is there a clever solution I'm missing?

I just installed ThingWorx platform 8.4 with MSSQL as a persistant provider. The installation has been done with success. No error in the Tomcat as everything as stated properly. However, whenever I tried to import an Extension, I am getting a generic error like: Errors occurred during the validation or the import. There is nothing showed in the application log. Any idea how to solve or troubleshoot this issue?

I've done this in models, but in the part drawing when I add a drawing view, the view states dialog box is grayed out for simplified representation.

Good day All,   I am having difficulties with getting the Google Maps widget to work in Thingworx 8.3.4. From the extension documentation I must use the Google Maps version 3.0.3 (for Thingworx versions 8.2.8+). A prerequisite for this it seems from the support documentation and the Google Maps guide on the developers portal (https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/google-map-widget-how/configure-google-maps-widget-extension) is to add a "Required string to connect with Google for Google widgets" under the PlatformSubsystem. In Thingworx 8.4.0+ it seems to be available, but for version 8.3.4 there is no such property to add this String field and then the Google Maps extension does not work.   I tried then reverting back to the previous version of the Google Maps widget (3.0.1) and I added my API key to the metadata.xml file as previously done and described here (https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS188314&posno=1&q=google%20extension&DocumentType

I'm trying to display a PDF in the mashup. I know that most people suggest using Webframe and either linking the files from the FIleUploader Widget or create a repository. Is there a way to have a list of PDF names and once its clicked it shows the different PDFs in the Webframe widget. 

I'm planning to include a hide feature in my experience, giving the user the ability to hide a model to perform certain instructions. Showing the model all the time will block user's sight.   I managed to make the whole model invisible using this code   for (i = 0; i <= length; i++) { modelitem="model-1-/0/"+i; tml3dRenderer.setProperties(modelitem, { hidden:true } ); }   However, even though the property 'hidden' set to 'true'. When animation started some of the animated parts will be shown. Not all the parts! which makes me wondering why? how to prevent it from showing, or at least how possibly show all the animated parts? I'm stuck in between.   Thanks for the help in advance.

Imported "MSSQLConnector_Extension" and copy the file "sqljdbc42.jar" into the folder ...\Tomcat 8.5\lib.   For the configuration of Database Thing based on the ThingTemplate from the JDBC extension  JDBC Driver Class Name: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriverJDBC Connection String: jdbc:sqlserver://localhost:1433;databaseName=thingworx01;applicationName=ThingworxconnectionValidationString: SELECT GETDATA();   Ensure the admin and password is valid. When testing service "GetAllRecords: select * from table01", failed. "Unable to Invoke Service GetAllRecords on MSSQLDatabase : null"  

I was trying to figure out an automated way to make punch of parts assembly of my model to be transparent. My model consist of 150 parts and it makes no sense to drag and drop modelitem widget for every part.   I used the following code   modelitem="model-1-/0/"+i; tml3dRenderer.GetObject(modelitem).GetWidget().ApplyOccludeOpacity(0,0); Everything works good in preview mode, but surprisingly it doesn't work at all in HoloLens. Waste much my time on preview while not all function are supported.   Any help of alternative way to make this work this out?

I added a model widget into the canvas with  xyz co-ordinate as say 0,0,0 (center of canvas). Now when I add the resource (.pvz file) into that widget, those co-ordinates changes by itself say (0,0.35,0.254). On what basis this is changing. When I import the components of a sub-assembly individually into the canvas, it is not sitting on the correct position. What is the best way to assemble your components inside your canvas. This may seem like a silly question, but I can't figure out a simple keyboard shortcut. I searched online but to no avail. How do I select the math range that I my cursor is in?? Say I want to delete a math range. How can I do that without using the mouse. Say I want to move a math range around, how do I do that without the mouse?   This would help my flow in mathcad tremendously since I wouldn't need to pick up my mouse and make a selection box to help organize my work.   Thanks a ton for taking the time to answer my simple question!

Hi,We are now using ThingWorx studio to modify a panel model, and we want to add/change pictures on the panel surface.We can add the picture to panel surface in Creo 2, but it can not be display in ThingWorx Studio. So our question is how can we add/change picture on a model in ThingWorx studio? Do we need install other TW tools for the action?Thanks.

Hi,    I found the advanced grid doesn't display at all if set the Master for the mashup which hold the advanced grid. If  remove the Master from mashup then the advanced grid show up.    No application log found .  Is this a known problem ?     Version: ThingWorx 8.4 grid-advanced-4.2.0.zip   Regards, Sean

Hi,    I download the JDBC Connector from marketplace :  https://marketplace.ptc.com/apps/195356/jdbc-connector-extension#!overview   But uploading the driver file doesn't work with JdbcCreator, nothing happens after clicking choose file , while the standard upload widget works .  (see the attached video)

We are currently using creo 3.0 and planning to shift to creo 4.0. We have made some mapkeys and other custom changes in creo 3.0. We want to transfer those same mapkeys and custom changes to creo 4.0. How to do it without losing any data?

Good day All,   I am having some difficulties getting the new version of the Google Maps Extension to work with a Google API key. I have followed the steps in the supporting documentation but I am clearly missing something.   I have created the API key, downloaded the extension from the marketplace and saved to a directory. When I execute the GetGoogleMapConnectionString I get this result:           And when I run the SetGoogleMapConnectionString I get the following error message: "Unable to Invoke Service SetGoogleMapsConnectionString on PlatformSubsystem : Table [PlatformInformation] does not have a field named [googleMapsConnectionString]".   Any advice to what step I am missing?   Kind regards, Johan Bester

Hi ,   I want to highlight the image when moving the mouse over the image, "highlight" could be changing to another image with different color.     Is there a way to implement it in Thingworx ?
