to all   I am doing a sanity check on something and would like to set an integral - see attached mcad 15 file but cannot remember for the life of me how to set up the integral calc (integration variable, etc!) Can anyone help me on this one? Thanks Regards

Hi. I integrity says "External Script Name" does not exist, but that´s how it is called in the GUI... How to specify it via CLI?   Is there a general document giving information about available field specifiers and their correct names?

Hi.   How come that Structural analysis can be run without any constraints? Does it automatically assume Inertia Relief?   In the attached picture you can see simple example: - Geometry: Cube - Loads: 1 Force in X direction - Constraints: None This sort of analysis would fail in Creo Simulate.    Simulation Live should show a note or a warning that Inertia Relief is used, if no Constraints are used.  

Anyone having trouble linking a user function with the user library in Prime 3.0? I can't even link the basic examples. I get an error message: External _CreateUserFunction not foundfrom the linker. It's definitely defined in mcaduser.h that I compiled with. It's like it wasn't exported from mcaduser.libAnyone else having this problem?

I have recently been learned how to connect to kepware and pull in kepware tag data into Thingworx. I am wondering if I would be able to call a service based on a kepware tag reading value change without having to have a mashup open on a screen. Essentially, I would like to take advantage of how quickly Thingworx can trigger events without having to worry about hosting a mashup. Is there a piece of Thingworx functionality that I can look into for more detail about the possibilities of doing this?

Hi,    I'm going through the proces of understanding the entire datamodel of OA. I've looked into ProcessingResourceClass. Why does this table have a field called "ThingName"? In my understanding ProcessingResourceClass is just a class for a recource like tools, equipment, workstation type, ... but not an instance in itself.    Jasper

Hi,    I'm learning how Operator Advisor works and how we can use it in our future projects.  I understand when I add properties in the _AP table before I run the service 'CreateTables', the properties are added in de database table.   But let's say the project is live, already containing data, and I want to upgrade the data model. How do we do this? Do we add a field in the datashape and add a column in the database manual? Or are there services to update all _AP tables? Because 'CreateTables' goes in error if I try a second time.   Jasper

But Creo is still pointing to the default location.         

Hi everyone, I have a repeater widget on my mashup and i dont know to know if it's possible to set properties from the mashup that is inside the repeater to different things that are in the same template. The purpose of this mashup is that, the user will set a value to the text box and this value that was set by the user will be sent to the property inside the thing. The problem that i am having is that when i set a value to the text box, that value is being put on both things instead of just one of then. Image of the Mashup below. Thanks!

Is there a way in thingworx to get a geocode with an address?  I see that the widgets take geocode as an input but not the address.  I'd like to use those widgets but I need to convert the addresses to geocode first.

Hello, I am trying to change a field value of a requirement based on if any of the subsection requirements has been edited (Pick list value changed). I am trying to do this using a trigger but I am unsure how to do so. I thought that we are only able to change field values in the same requirement. Based on this, the only way I could see to do this is by pulling information from a relationship field (contained by) and changing the field value through this relationship field. Is this possible? I tried implementing this using the command "getNewRelationshipFieldBeans" and then running an abort command to display what information I pull from the field but what I receive is "[Lmks.ci.server.engine.LocalTriggerManager$ScriptRelationshipBean;@128b7461". Is there another way to accomplish this (easier way)? Is this even possible (I hope so)? I am using Integrity 11.2. I really appreciate your help. Please let me know if there is any more information

Hi, I created a model with a boolean variable goal. The name of the is Class. After i would like to create a predictive score with additional data that includes the fields that is classified as the most important by Signal. I did not understand the reason why by creating a score including fields in a first case and excluding them in another the values of model output does not change. I used the full range technique in all case.  The fields name are: bj_000 and ck_000. An row example  case with 2 important fields includes: bj_000 ck_000 class class_mo Feature_1_Name Feature_1_Weight Feature_2_Name Feature_2_Weight errorMessage 0.3828125 1.0 false 0.33333333333333337 bb_000 0.12 az_000 0.08000000000000002     case without  important fields: class class_mo errorMessage false 0.33333333333333337      Does anyone have any suggestions?

Attached is a little example of a problem I'm seeing - in simplified format only to demonstrate the issue.  Background - I'm doing a 2D finite difference problem and during setup mathcad slows down an unacceptable amount and I can't see why it should.    I tried it in 5.0 with no change.  On my machine the 'slow' program here takes about 5 seconds, while the 'fast' examples are instantaneous - as expected since there's no real calculation ongoing. I don't see why it should slow down like this.  I suspect it's recalculating the 'node' matrix over and over. Or possibly a bug. Anything I'm doing wrong?     4.0 and pdf attached.  Thanks,    

Hello all,   I'm new to Mathcad, I had the software installed just this morning.  I am having trouble getting my plot to display properly. I played around with my variables and it seems like Mathcad is unable to recognize the variable Cstar (please see the attached file). I tried moving the variable block around and replacing it with single value (in case it was my syntax that was off) but still could not get it to work.    I'd greatly appreciate any help and/or advice on how I should proceed. I’ve installed Creo 4.0 on my own machine not opting for the schools install as I prefer to use the full menus not the schools tab option. My IT tech has instlled a trial on my machine and the school tab was on the ribbon. I’ve asked him to reinstall the standard version without schools tab on ribbons he said he’s reinstalled he believes the premium lab version And the schools tab is not on the software but when he adds the floating licence it reappears.So is the schools layout linked to the licence file and if so how can I remove this option so I get the standard layout allowing students to see all the options when sketching etc.

Hello, I am new to Mathcad,I have been using PTC Mathcad Prime 5 since yesterday. I have a problem when I use solve and assume for this quadratic equation. All the variables have mm as unit. If I assume mm <> 0 then it works. The answer I am looking for is 233.41847464108950079 mm. Ps. If I put = it shows the good answer (my bad, I was too frustrated about the if and else thing to try), but why does it show if and else?  Thank you
