Hello! I am new to the PTC forums, but I had a question regarding how to format a particular differential equation into Mathcad Prime. My equation is: ads=integral(v) dv Below is a screenshot of what I have so far, but it is using my guess value as the solution, when the actual solution for Vo is 15.5 ft/s. Acceleration, a, is given to be constant at 12 ft/s^2, initial displacement, So, is given to be 0 ft, final displacement, Sf, is given to be 140 ft, final velocity, Vf, is 60 ft/s. That leaves initial velocity, Vo. The basic form of the differential equation I am employing goes a*ds=integral (v) dv where ds is the differential for displacement and dv for velocity. Any help regarding this formatting would be greatly appreciated guys! Thanks!

Springs are very useful in place of constraints to better simulate a boundary condition.  Spring Force (Mag, or X,Y,Z) Measures can be created for Pt-to-Grnd springs to report the reaction at the spring.   I created some spring groups by using both patterned points and by selecting multiple points.  A subsequent Measure created for the springs in the group only allows selection of the group, and returns one value. The resulting value was not as expected.  One would expect that a Measure on a Spring Group would be the Net of the group.  It was not.  Neither was it the average of the springs in the group.  I don't know what the number was.  Has anyone tried this, and found usable results?

I would like to monitor a user's idle time.  That way, I can logout a user just prior to the normal session timeout and navigate the user back to the FormLogin page of the user's organization.   Thanks, Tim

Hello,   I'm trying to add customs Thingmarks to my Visual Studio Experience. 1. I used the Adobe Illustrator scripts to create one with the same shapes as the PTC thingmark. 2. I had the svg file to my Vuforia Developer Portal database 3. I exported differents samples of the Thingmark 4. I had the differents thingmarks on the builder-settings.json file with the same id as the ready-to-use PTC thingmarks 5. I restarded Vuforia Studio 6. I published my experience linked to the new Thingmarks Problem : The Thingmarks are not recognized by Vuforia View...    I also tried to change the svg file directly by changing the brights and darks elements, but same issue.   Thank you for your help.   Best Regards, Thomas

Hello, Upon creating a spatial target experience and publishing successfully, the experience does not show up in my Vuforia View Library.I have 1: associated my experience server with the one i have for Vuforia Studio multiple times via multiple ways (Scanning QR, manual entry, etc.)2: re published multiple times3: scanned the QR code for the specific experience (it asked for login credentials when i had it not public, i entered, nothing happened. Also I tried putting to public, to no avail)I have a non-mainstream android phone, could this be the problem? I have ZTE AXON 7Thanks, Peter

Hi all,   For the attached sheet, I am trying to calculate the mid-point of each layer using an if statement. The values are entered using an Excel table. For the first layer, the mid-point is simply H0/2 (so 0.9 m). For the second layer, the mid-point is the previous mid-point, plus the average of the previous and current points (so, 0.9 m + (1.8+1.6)/2 =  2.6 m). For some reason however, the simple IF code I am trying to use doesn't seem to work. I am not very familiar with programming in Mathcad, so any help would be appreciated.Thanks!-Fikret

Does someone have a quick reference guide to installing CreoView 4.1 so it may be downloaded and installed from Windchill 11.0? I need to get the download configured so the users can go to Quick Links - Software Downloads and then get the stated version of CreoView for installation.

Hello,   I have been wrestling with this problem for a while now. I am designing an assembly that uses multiple different plates of various materials and thicknesses, but there are many common features between the. I would like to be able to change these attributes on the fly or at assembly level, and I understand that is the point of Top-Down Design. I saw examples of using Skeleton Models, but when I tried that I could not constrain each part together to assemble them, the option simply wasn't there. I have also tried the parameter approach, where each part has the same list of parameters, and changing one in the parameters dialog affects the part. The only issue is, when I assemble each part and add the same list of parameters to the assembly file, changing the assembly parameters doesn't do anything. I then read that the parameters must be set at assembly level using a session ID, but when I tried this I would get errors stating that the part driven value can not be changed. C

Hello together,   i would like to create a Mashup which shows different tiles for different functionalities.   The PTCCovergeConsole, see attachement, is doing this. My question is how do I make those tiles and can I link a mashup to each tile?   Thanks for your help.   Regards Felix

I guess everybody knows that since Windchill 11.1 every user needs to have a license. And here starts the mess. Because test users don't need a license or a engineer has a second admin user, PTC introduced in 11.1M010 a license exclusion group. This works as far I could test. But now the mess starts. With Creo 5.0.1.0  and the Workgroup Managers for 11.1M010 PTC also checks if the user has a Windchill CAD-License. But they not checking against the license exclusion group. So even the wcadmin which normally creates all the Creo View data on the worker, needs to have all the Windchill CAD licenses! I opened up a Case C14210080 and the currently answer is (case is not yet closed), that the articels have been updated, that also the wcadmin has to have the appropriate licenses.  CS282719   What are your thoughts about this topic??? I guess, the community needs to get active. At the moment we aren't able to upgrade any customer to Windchill 11.1 because of this lice

1. NodeMCU ESP8266 using Arduino: can't update the value in thingworx foundation platform but serial monitor is showing the updated value continuously. Please Ref Image1_serialmonitor_output. 2. Also, on platform side there is one red color symbol 'disconnected', showing that my created thing 'NodeMCU' is not connected. You can find that symbol in attached image2, below search option. 3. Also find the attached code file. I guess code is using HTTP Client for coonecteion but the server is HTTPS (https://pp-xxxxxxxxxxxx.devportal.ptc.io). If this is the issue Please suggest me which library to use?

New Dell m7720 coming (Xeon, 64GB RAM, Quadro 5000 GPU) with Thunderbolt dock. I think I'm going to attempt to use a BENQ PD3200U 32" 4K Monitor.. Currently using 2x 24" Dell 1920x1080pm Monitors, but thinking with the monitor window management and Win 10 Snap assist I'll be able to use a single large 4K monitor.   Can anyone confirm Creo 4 was built with 4K scaling in mind? Hi,   We have created a custom jsp page for login in Thingworx. If the user enters wrong credentials 5 times within 5 mins it's geeing locked and will be unlocked after 5 mins, but the same user wants to login through the jsp Page it's giving wrong credentials even with valid user name and password. But in the composer user will be active and unlocked and they can be logged to the composer  but not into the organization. Is there any specific reason for this issue. Please kindly let me know the solution.

I am in the process of documenting all the services I created.  I know some are old and no longer used, and I'd like to delete those.  The View Relationships doesn't really seem to help for mashups or service calls from other things.   And, before anyone says, I know that if I documented as I was creating the services, I wouldn't be in this mess.   Thanks for any advice on this,   Tim

Hi,I would like some help with assembly i have been working on for school.I assembled all the parts in my project the right way but then i got notified that i have to create the motor as an sub-assembly.Now i have attached the file i have been working one. My question is how do i create a sub-assembly. I tried selecting all the components in the motor then right click and create a sub-assembly but it got all weird.  Can somebody guide and help me with this as soon as possible please? Hello All,I am struggling to get MathCad 15 up and running. The problem started when I had our purchasing agent purchase the software for me (all emails went to him).I have downloaded the software and installed it on my computer and registered on the PTC site. I received 2 emails containing flex/LS license filesEmail one - lm_xxxx.txt - necessary for license borrowing.Email two - lm_xxxx_standard.txt - required for older Pro/ENGINEER releases.I don't know what to do with these files and the links given in the email containing the instructions are not available to me.I have sent emails and attempted to contact tech support and also the MathCad sales group. The sales group refers me to Tech Support who do not answer my emails and cannot be contacted by phone. It has been almost 4 weeks since I purchased the software.
