Hello guys, in my layer tree i have two layers for hidden items (in German: "Verdeckte Elemente"), one written in regular and one in capital letters (see picture). I did not create those manually, rather they seem to be automatically created by Creo and do not contain the same elements. I couldn't really find anything about the issue on Google. Can someone of you explain to me what the difference between those is?   Greetings

I created sequence in Creo Illustrate with some notes & I want to show that description at every step.  I bind model property (steps) to Lable but it's showing no. of steps. How can I show that notes in studio.

gooe afternoon we are working in Creo Parametric 4 with Winchill when I change a 3d part Creo ask me to continue or to checkout --> perfect when I finish my modifiations an open the drawing, I click right  on sheet1 /update , the drawing views will be updated but Creo doesn't ask to continue or to checkout the drawing. is there a config setting to automaticaly ask to continue or check out the 2d when updating views from a 3d modifications?   thanks   regards Veronique

Hey all,I need some urgent help.I was working on a school project, opened the file this morning and edited some units only. Saved and closed the laptop. (I do not know if this is related or not but when I closed the laptop, it shut down, when it should just go to sleep). I turned on my laptop back on a few minutes later to continue working,  and am now getting an error saying :I opened the log file and noticed it is corrupt... I am attaching the file below. Is there a way to get around this? I have lots of important work on the document and I cannot afford to start over! Thank you 🙂 

We have recently upgraded from Creo 3.0 M120 to Creo 4.0 M060. I have been modelling a part and started to generate a drawing for this, is it possible to use combination states in the models and then use these in the drawing sheets? The simple answer is Yes you can and I have established this however if on my combination state 1 I have certain annotations visible and I want to display these on the drawing how would I do this? If I select show annotations in the drawing on that specific view that is using the combination state it still displays all annotations for the part (This would result in duplicated effort) is there a method of showing only the annotations selected in the models combination state? Is there a config setting or have I missed something very basic?

Hello,   I have the attached mathcad with the inputs: "a", "b" and "Table". "a" should be looking in the first row of "Table" to find a match, vector "b" should be looking in the first column of "Table" to find a match for each value of the vector. ‌Frequently, my curor position will not accept typing a variable name.  The cursor location is not close to another region.  The location will accept starting new text if I start the text with quotation marks, ".  I have to keep moving the cursor around randomly to get Mathcad 15 to accept the variable name.  I can paste a variable name at the location; I just cannot start typing at the location. I run Mathcad 15 on a PC with Windows 7 Profesional with plenty of memory.  This problem is so frequent that it makes using Mathcad 15 very frustrating.  I only upgraded to 15 because my old Mathcad 6 plus would not install on Windows 7 without running in a virtual XP mode.I would just go back to 6 plus running in XP mode, but when I eventually have to upgrade to Windows 10 or beyond, I doubt that running in XP mode will be available.I did not attach a Mathcad file because I did not think the problem could be repeated on another system.  If attaching a file w

Experts:   After converting a replica site to SSL to match the master site, and updating the replica URL in Site Administration from http to https, is there a way to update the URL that the master is using without completely restarting Windchill?   Thanks in advance, Mark

Hey guys! I need your help so I can solve my problem (using Creo 3.0)... I have to do a project for the school I am attending. The goal of this project is to automate a manual mailing machine. The developers of that machine have sent me a STEP-File containing 127 files of a big assembly, subassemblies and parts. So the next step would be to assemble the mailing machine assembly into my project and to constrain it to existing parts. The traditional way of doing this (at least that's what I was taught) would be to copy all 127 files into my working directory where I already have 100 files or so. Problem: That makes navigating through the working directory kind of uncomfortable and less clear. I tried converting the STEP file to a part and not to an assembly, but that didn't work out at all because the converted part is wrong. Hi all,    We are implementing Operator Advisor (in TW 8.4). It's clear that every table in the database has a copy in ThingWorx as a DataShape, also junction tables.    I'm wondering, what is the best way to show data from multiple tables in the database? The way I see it there are two options:  1. Use the Operator Advisor database services and make multiple calls and do intersects on the infotables you'll get as an answer.  2. Write your own JOIN query's in the database thing and display the answer in a datatable.   Another question leaning on the previous question: What datashape do you use when you display the joined data? Or do you make a new DataShape for every new call?

Hi there, can someone please explain me exactly what is allowed to edit on versioned items and what is not?   Following problem for example: I have a pick field on my Specification Item. I added this pick field to the "Version Edit Fields" in the Document Model. But when I try to change the pick field on a versioned item I get the error message "Could not save modified item [ID]-[Revision]: MKS930844: Specification: [ID]-[Revision] is versioned. This operation cannot be applied to versioned documents or items." So, does that mean not all fields can be "Version Edit Fields"? What is the logic behind that and why?   Thanks, Timo

We have a copyright symbol and various other symbols with lists of variable text items. Today, each user has to edit properties on the symbol, then change the properties in order to select these items. We would like to use ToolKit to develop a single screen to set these variable text values. Is there a way to use ToolKit to read the values in the variable text in a custom symbol, then set the value?  

Is the "Disabled" property of the Button widget not available anymore?  I see it in Figure (b) in the following post, but I cannot find it in my Button properties https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/how-to-disable-a-Button/td-p/526174   I am running Thingworx 8.3.2-b535 I know it can be made visible/invisible, but I prefer to make it disabled/enabled.  

I have a plate with numerous holes (see attached image) that I need to insert screws into. In the past, I was able to assemble a screw in a hole then use the pattern option and Creo would automatically select the remaining holes. Now, I tried to follow the same steps, but Creo will not automatically select the holes. Is there a way to do this instead of manually inserting each screw and making the Model Tree extremely long?   Thanks

Is there a method to set up drawing templates to set the dimension extension line length to a particular value. From the attached image I can manually change the length's by dragging the end, but I would like to set this in the config.pro file perhaps.

Dear community,   I am not sure if it is absolutly odd, but I have to import an Excel file with 3.200.000 lines as System Tree (structured). I have the feeling that this will exceed the memory of Windchill and I do not think that the GUI import/export wizzard can handle this size. Has anyone recommendations or experience with this? Any help is appreciated, Tobias

Hey there, I have added a label widget with a lot of text. When i view the preview there is shown a scrollbar to scroll up and down the text. If i upload the project, there is no scrollbar at the mobile device. Why is the scrollbar only visible in the preview? What function do i have to add to make the scrollbar visible at the mobile device, too?  

Hello,   I am trying to modify the Library directory for the Creo-Appearence Manager. In our actual configuration the path of the Libary is (Installation-Path) C:\PTC\Creo 3.0\M130\Common Files\graphic-library Instead i would need to provide an appearence Libary that can be edited by an Administrator on a Server-Path.   I know that i could use the "My Appearence" Tab, and simply browse the diffrent Library Files. (And preset the Standard-Searchpath)   But, the Folder Tree, thats avilable in the  Library-Tab would be a lot more user-friendly, because i will have to provide a big amount of Appearences. (diffrent .dmt-Files)    I couldn't find any Config-Options for this.    Thanks.
