Hi, I wanted to install manufacturing app. I wanted to know if the license for manufacturing app is available? Will thingworx 8.0 and manufacturing app run independently? If manufactuirng app can be installed how many days the license will be active? The case is I do not want to use the manufacturing app extentions imported in thingworx.   Thanks, V Shalini.    

Hi, 1) I wanted to know will manufacturing apps work without internet? 2) If the Operating server is 2007 will the validation be successful and  manufacturing apps get installed?  Please provide an answer for these as we are planning to deploy the manufacturing apps.  Thanks in advance.  

Hi all, I'm installing Thingworx 8.1.3 for manufacturing apps. I had followed the steps given in the article https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS271439 . The problem is after changing the license file to "license_capability_respone.bin" i'm getting the errors "Unable to retrieve license from FNO server because Unable to acquire twx_composer: Requested feature's hostid does not match system hostid.[Ljava.lang.StackTraceElement;@1a7303f6". But if i change the filename to "341_license_capability_respone.bin" the composer is loading but the services "GetCurrentLicenseInfo" is returning error. Please advice. Thanks and regards, Saran

Also the description, maintaining some kind of Read-Only link from Windchill, I suppose that somethiing like DTI "DEsktop integration"  that do an OOTB from office applications, but is possible to do ?

Hi!   Issue: Experiencing this error upon starting Thingworx on Tomcat Manager "FAIL - Application at context path [/Thingworx] could not be started" Please see attached file for the logs.   Actions taken: -version checking -adding thingworx license -adding thingworx in system variables -added folder full control access-edited WEB-INF from WEBINF-restarted Tomcat 8.5   With this, I'm still not able to start Thingworx on my local machine. Did I missed on any steps? Appreciate your help. Thanks! Once I published the model to ThingPredictor, and use Thingworx Analytix Managemer to test new data with ThingPredictor connector. Does the predictor use its own engine or use Thingworx Analytics Server to calculate the result?

I am trying to create an extension, which provides a Template having a service for dynamic custom thing creation.   After installing the extension and creating a Thing from the extension template, i am executing the createThing service. I need to find the X value for the following function where it breaks. Of course I can do it manually, but I would like to have a function, say Cr(D,u1,u2) that would give to me the x value where M(D,Gama,u1,u2) breaks.Can Anybody tell me how to do it? or Simply giving to me any function that does it?       Thanks in advance

Hello, Could anyone help me with fitting a Gaussian curve to the signals, please? In the attached worksheet, the function "plane1(k,x1,y1,d,taw)" detects the ultrasonic pressure filed amplitude on two microphones placed on the right and left side of the emitter. The peak of each signal is used to estimate the time of flight (TOF). For more accurate estimation of TOF, I use genfit to fit a Gaussian curve to the signals. However, the output of the fitting process (result(Data,taw)) does not look right and it sensitively depends on the scanned time range. In the current example, the signals time range do not exceed more than 0.01 s but the Gaussian fit works only when the time range is scanned up to 0.2 s. Is there something wrong?   Any suggestion would be highly appreciated, Payman

I searched in the microserver 's file but I didn't find where to change this option. I think it is Inside the microserver/etc/custom/templates/example.lua but I don't know which line so if someone can help me   Thank you.

Greetings, I have an odd little problem.  We are in process of our final testing of our new Windchill 11.0 (M030 CPS08) environment.  One of our users can no longer connect to Windchill using Inventor Pro 2017 on her Windows 7 laptop.   Last week we uninstalled her WGM (11.0 M030) and re-installed it. It seemed to function properly and could 'see' Inventor 2017, but when you attempted to 'register' it, it did not quite function.  If you opened WGM, it would produce the error in the Warning image below.  I'm not certain why a shared folder would be a problem.  If you attempted to open an Inventor file, it would give you the error in Error_Image below, then the error in Error_Image_2 below. These errors occurred after we had purged all browser caches, the Java cache, and had re-installed WGM for Inventor.  Other computers access Windchill just fine via WGM and Inventor.

During the model training it fails after calibrating and the application log throws out this error multiple times     Not really sure what the issue could be. Both the training and results microservices are up and running. Thanks.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am very new to ThingWorx especially on Manufacturing Apps. I have seen the Example ot it when I was in Hannover Exhibition 2018 (2 Weeks ago).  I want to login the Manufacturing Apps from another computer. How could I do that? So following actions have been done : 1. I have installed the ThingWorx Dev Kit and Manufacturing Apps on my Laptop 2. My KepServerEx is connected to the Manufacturing Apps 3. Maschines are already online in Manufacturing Apps 4. Analyse, i.e. OEE is done. 5. I have made a new User for our Maintanance Manager   So our Maintanance Manager want to overview from his Computer. But I have only a blank Screen. What should I do? Is it possible to login Manufacturing Apps from another computer? Unable To Convert From com.thingworx.types.collections.ValueCollectionList to JSON Within my service ParentService (with output type set to InfoTable) I call ChildService service which returns  result: INFOTABLE dataShape: "undefined" and I set result to that InfoTable so this can be converted to JSON so a Rest client can ask for JSON response. This "undefined" Infotable when converted to JSON will have this shape:   { "dataShape": {...}, "rows": [{firstobj}, {seconobj}...] } I want to return only result.rows, but that is treated as ValueCollectionList which cannot be converted to JSON.     I used  InfoTableFunction's ToJSON service and I got almost what I wanted with .rows, but now I need to remove{ "array": part and only get this as a return object: [{obj1},{obj2},{obj3}]. I want then to save this json return value to a repository file. So how can I do that? It is a strange that "array" property is added. I don't want to have a wrap

Hi guys, I was following this tutorial to operationalize my model but I'm getting an error whenever I publish the model to Analytics manager: Model deployement failed on connector TW.AnalysisServices.ThingPredictorConnector I tried the solution on this post but I couldn't find the ThingPredictor jar. I'm currently on the hosted trial. Is this something that is not available with the trial. If so, how can I get access?

Hey, I just followed this tutorial, to create a Stream storage, but I need to employ a Mashup to see the values. My problem is how to do that knowing that the service to add Stream entry is not automatically called.   When I change the value of a thing and I don't launch the service 'Add_Stream_Entry_Services' Nothing is showed in the QueryStreamEntriesWithData test service. I want to insert values in QueryStreamEntriesWithData service without clicking test service 'Add_Stream_Entry_Services'  each time.   Thank you
