I was utilizing the HEAD word to pull up a macro in IMSpost to output probing strings and variable prompts. It is no longer being output in the ncl for Creo Parametric 4.0. Any ideas how to force this back out? Hello   Has anyone been successful with creating a PDF file using PDF Export service from the PDF extension 3.0, using an HTTPS address on ThingWorx 8.2.1.?   I have worked with this extension in the past with PDF extension 2.0 and this worked fine, however to note I was using a HTTP address.Also using ThingWorx 8.2.1.   Any support would be appreciated,   Thanks,   Sean

Hi, Without using a layout, relations, pro-program or make flexible would there be a way to "Control the value or state of a parameter value of a part from a toplevel assembly"? I want a part like a bolt to have 2 or more states built into the model that represents the bolt. Normal size as purchased (threads are full size and create a interference in the assembly) that would be used for the assembly drawing/weight roll up and a reduced size for FEA (part would not have interference with the hole it's installed into). The states of the component model would be controlled at the model level based on a parameter like "FEA" and relations to the dimensions of the features that need to be altered. If FEA was set to YES then the diameter would be reduced and if set to NO the diameter would be normal size. At any higher level assembly I would like the ability without using relations, layouts, flexibility, pro-program or a custom toolkit program to be able to set all co

Hello, everyoneWe try to create an application that manages parameters easily. (Batch processing) Can I create an input window when creating parameters using the Pro Toolkit? For Web links, you could use SELECT and TEXTBOX to specify the type, name, and value of the parameter.What are the possibilities for pro toolkits? Currently, we use ProMessageStringRead () to give the value of the parameter.Does the Pro Toolkit provide a dialog that you can use to build the above application? Boo! I can't open certain .prt files on my new computer. I suspect the change from Windows 8.1 back to Windows 7 is the cause. Does anyone know a work around or a way to convert .prt files, made while operating in Windows 8.1, compatible with my new Windows 7 workstation?  I can retrieve all my pre-W8 files.  Thank you!

hi all,  i'm running a recent install of Prime 4.0 on Win 10. i'm doing a bit of matrix math. Using eignenval is fine but eigenvecs is problematic. It might solve once or twice but when i go back up to change a parameter value, the sheet tries to recalculate eigenvecs, stalls for ~10 seconds, then shuts itself off! sheet is attached.   cheers, blake

Maybe I have a setting wrong, but in Creo 2.0 I was able to EDIT an ibl file after it was imported.  It was brought up in a notepad window and I could directly edit numbers as needed.  In 3.0 the option seems to have disappeared.  The file button is grayed out.

I'm trying to create a service that I can globally put in a ThingShape; then reference inside every new DataTable that I create. This service will find the PK of each new data table and ensure that it is populated with a unique/increasing value. To do this, I need to be able to find the current MAX() value of all data in the data table for the PK field; then set new row PK field to MAX()+1.If I'm simply way out in left field...please reign me in, but I think I'm close.Please provide a sample script for how to query this information from an existing data table.

My Mathcad 15 refuses to open XMCD files: The error message is "Not a valid XML file".Am running on WIndows XP Pro.Before this happening, MCAD crashed, with a message indicating that it had to close due to internal error. But it wouldn't close, I had to shut it down manually (Task Mgr). Have restarted MCAD and then Rebooted the PC, it is still giving me the Non XML file error?Any advice on that much appreciated. I am in the middle of a big HomeWork that is due Monday and this is a terrible set back. Should have stuck with 2001!Are there any programs that 15 is known not to like to work side by side with?I usually need to have Word, Excel, Adobe reader and the browser (Firefox) open while doing the Mathcad tasks.Thanks for any help on that. Would I need to reload 15? This scares me due to the difficulties I had to get my Student licence going. Thank you.
