Hello, I am could use some plain english step by step instructions to add and attribute to our CAD Document Type.  I want to add one called UOM.  UOM will be a string.  I need to know how to add this to our Creo Start Part that it can be edited from Windchill or Creo.  Just a plane string attritbute/parameter that I can see in Creo and Winchill.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I have no luck in inserting the manikin in my assy. When hitting the "insert Manikin" button I can only select the ptc_manikin.asm  manikin and after doing that selection I get this error message; "Could not find proper interfaces in manikin to insert. Please re-select." Any one know about this?

The Mathcad 15 M050 release that supports Windows 10 was supposed to be 2nd quarter of 2017 according to the Roadmap.  Has anyone heard anything at the PTC events on when this is actually supposed to hit the street?Thanks,Jeff

I heard that Mathcad 15 M050 will be updated with newest C++ and .NET. Is it true?  

Tab widgets once placed. When I do a preview or see the experience, the tabs names are not visible until we curser over it or click on it, rest all the other tabs look blank and become visible only when we click on it. Is there a way we can make the tab names be visible all the time?Avinash

Dear Experts ,   We want an assembly to be accessed from specific group of people, where we wanted to restrict a specific sub assembly for the users from reading it.   It is known fact that keeping the "restrictive" objects in seperate folder or a different context should address - But I am looking if there any option to store the complete assembly in a single location.   TOP_LEVEL_ASSEMBLY.asm | |__ SUB_ASSEMBLY_1.asm | |__ SUB_ASSEMBLY_2.asm | |__ SUB_ASSEMBLY_3.asm   Rules to be in place : 1) Restrict SUB_ASSEMBLY_1.asm (and its dependents) to be read. 2) Allow SUB_ASSEMBLY_2.asm (and its dependents) for read only. 3) Allow SUB_ASSEMBLY_3.asm (and its dependents) to be read and write.   Appreciate your support on how to approach this requirement.     Thanks Murthi

Good morning, gurus!   I have an Or conditional in a workflow.  If evaluated once to loop back through, things are triggered fine, workflow is looped back.  If the or evaluates to loop through a second time, the workflow stalls.  No errors, nothing to show what happened.  I'm assuming there is a basic something I'm missing here (I do see that the wf detects there is a multiple routing of this branch, so maybe that?   I appreciate the help.   Brian Krieger   PS:  Even if the Or condition is simply hardwired as:   try { System.out.println("**PR Manager **Checking for Empty Key Roles**");  boolean continueOn = false; if(continueOn){  result="SetupComplete"; } else{  result="NotifyEmptyApr"; } }catch (Exception e) {  System.out.println("**PR Manager **Unkown Exception**");  result="NotifyEmptyApr";}   In this case, the "NotifyEmptyApr" branch would be executed.  Will

I know that you do not have to upload the separate pvi file if you have 1 sequence(figure).  But do you need to do this if you have more than one sequence(figure)?

I've plotted data into a Time Series Chart widget.  I need to be able to overlay horizontal lines on the same chart to show limits that the data should be over/under.Is this possible with the regular time series chart widget or is there an extension widget that can accomplish this?  I'm working with Thingworx 7.1 right now.

Has any one else received a Technical Support eNews & Alert that included a link to Creo 5.0 SneakPeek (B000)? The link doesn't work - it only links to the standard software download page.  

I have been using MC14 for a while without any problems. But recently when I try to start it (it seems when I have not used it for a while), I get the message that no license file exists. Then I can go through the process of retrieving one over the net by entering my product code and using my PTC account username and pw (same as for the forum). Does anyone have suggestions for avoiding this in the future? (I have been unable to find where MC actually puts the license file on my computer).

Hello PTC community,    i'm looking for help on exporting the IDs of related Items to a MS Word document. But i have little experience with XML-files and so forth. I included a couple of screenshots of my first try to implement the export (The Red Arrow shows where the related IDs should go inthe template, only for context). I have a problem with a solve block constructed in MC15. As long as I use a single input variable A the sheet works fine. However if I want to calculate the values for a changing chamber length it does not work. I assume it is something simple but I do not "see" it at this moment. Any help would be appreciated.
