I just installed 7.4 version in my local pc and seeing the following error in chrome console . Does anyone one knows what this means and how to fix it? Could not find permission for entityType "undefined" and permission "Create" in designTimeEntityPermissions

Dear Community:I am a very new user of MathCad, and I need help understanding the syntax of the linfit function.  (At least I think it's a syntax issue).I built a small worksheet to look at various curve fitting functions (it grew out of a need from a work related worksheet; I have hand entered some of the data and changed to units to make the example sheet self-contained).  I successfully parroted the linfit example for a quadratic fit (a*x^2+b*x+c), but I could not extend it successfully for a cubic fit (a*x^3+b*x^2+cx+d).  I could successfully build a cubic fit using polyc.I enclose the worksheet:Page 1: DataPage 2: Cubic SplinePage 3: Straight Line Page 4: Quadratic linfit (and polyc)Page 6: Cubic linfit (and polyc)         <---- This is where it goes wrongAny insights would be appreciated.Regards,Bob

Hello! I have a 2 graphs. I don't know how to calculate the area under the graph. Graph with red is half of a circle, and graph with black is defined by 3 functions. Normally, the graph area with red is higher than the graph area with black. Thank you for help!

I'm on my Windchill upgrade journey from 10.2 to 11.0.  Currently we are on SQL Server 2008 SP1.  Our goal is to get to SQL Server 2016.I'm thinking about taking the general steps below to get there.Upgrade from 2008 to 2012 in 10.2 environmentOn database server for 11.0, install SQL 2016Upgrade from 10.2 SQL 2012 to 11.0 SQL 2016I was wondering if anyone else has taken this journey?  How did you do it?  It doesn't have to be to 2016, but that would be helpful.  Trying to get this all done before October.Thank you,Brian

While creating shrink wrap for large assemblies, particularly harness geometry is missing in the Shrink wrap. Only the connectors and terminals are there, harness routing is not there.Is there any way of getting that in shrink wrap?

Hello there,Here is the thing, I have a frame that I want to analize under load while it is lifted, for that puspose I set a weighted link constrain, so that the frame is "hanged" and the load applied.Now, in order to stabilize it I added a soft spring (5 in lb ) at each corner, i used a ground spring,See picture attachedok, once the results are gotten the displacement is up to 1929 Inches which means that weighted link is not working, it seems that just the srpings are sopporting the frame and the load.you will see also, that the stresses are generated at the spring connectionDoes anyone knows why is this issue?I really appreciate any help on thisBest regards

I can see option only for getDefaultValue() not getValue(). I followed as:     getConfigurationTable("TableName").getField("fieldName").getDefaultValue().The option for getValue() was not there, hence changes in configuration is not reflectiong after importing this extension in Thingworx Platform.

Hello,Is there a way I can animate the google map widget to track the location of the car. Currently, I am working on a project for car race tracking, so after each 10 sec, I will be getting a set of data which will have a timestamp and latitude & longitude. I need the structure of track and at each second I want the location of the car. So ideally the track should be visible(track of the race course at each point need to be mapped with google map) and in the background, the google map should work in such a way that it should track the car location over the racing-track.

Hi, I seem to have worn the internet thin, and have scoured posts here aswell and have not found what i'm looking for. i might have misset it, if so i apologice. Also, please excuse my english.  So what i'm looking for is a way to have mathcad prime look at an equation and store coefficients as variables - maybe by comparing the equation to a "mask". please take a look at the attached file to see what i'm talking about. Hello,   I was able to change the rpt_index start number by adding a relation ("START_INDEX=100+rpt_index") and then by adding the "START_INDEX" in the repeat region. Now, I would like to change the increment value of the rpt_index which is 1 by default.   Does anyone has a solution?   Thank you, Regards,

Hey all. I've got a big problem that has me completely perplexed. We just recently (last week) updated our Windchill to 11. This may or may not have something to do with this. Anyway, before the update a WT part was created and related to a Creo .prt. This part was used in several assemblies and WT part structures were built that included this part. No issues. Today, I tried to use it in a new assembly and when I went in the .asm info page, went to compare to part structure and clicked build structure I got the following error "Build Failed: Build cannot add the following children to the Part structure: "Part-12307, 2 TAB WELD NUT, A.4 (Design)" The associations between the CAD Document/Model Item and Parts were created incorrectly. Please contact your system administrator." I have absolutely no idea what to do. Like I said, this part has existed and been used in WT structure before. Now I'm completely stuck. Any help would be great. Thank you!

I'm creating and programming a list of calculations derived from a materials properties, such as Yield Strength, UTS and Young's Modulus, and I'm wanting to include a function where the user can select their choice of material, rather than typing it in manually, such as a drop down list or a tick box system.
