Hello,I have edge handler selected by user from ProSelect API. This selected edge is in drawing view. I would like to know edge coordinates in terms of drawing sheet origin using pro toolkit.What XYZ co-ordinate I will get if I will use API something like EdgeXYZEval? Will it be of assembly co-ordinate? If yes, how one can convert it to screen co-ordinate of drawing file?Let me know if you need more clarification.Any thought will be of great help on this.Thanks and RegardsKetan

Hi AllI know there is a couple of posts on here about this same topic but I am yet to fix my problem.I have 3 buttons on my main mashup, each of which is used to change the Name of the Contained Mashup (for now using ContextID of the button clicked).I also have 3 services (each triggered from a single button which applies to that particular mashup) and a final service to determine which button ContextID I have chosen.When I click on a button the ContextID of that button is sent to the first service who's output populates an input parameter of a second service which determines what ContextID I have selected based on which input parameter is populated (I have had to do it this way as you can only bind one value to the Contained Mashup name). The ServiceInvokeCompleted of this service then triggers the Refresh service of the Contained Mashup to ensure the Mashup refreshes.However when testing this only the ContextID of the first button I have clicked seems to populate the Contained Mashup

Hi All, I have a question regarding using the if condition inside the "add line" block, would anyone help me about this?My target is to assign a value to the parameter "c_calculated". If logic=1, I want to use an equation to calculate the variable "c_calculated". If logic=0, I want to assign a number "c_initial" to the variable "c_calculated" . However, it seems like Mathcad does not allow me to do it in the way showing below. Would anyone tell me what is wrong with this?Thank you!

Hello,At my company, they bought 3 floating licenses.Now we already downloaded Creo, but nobody knows how to install it! Should I maintain my licenses on the server? On the local machine? Does anybody has a guide? Should I install other software first?Thank you.

We're running Creo Schematics 3.0 M020 with Windchill WGM 10.2 M030-CPS22.We recently updated out WGM to CPS22.  After the update, we're seeing the issue below when trying to open a file from the workspace.  The file is clearly there, but Schematics says it can't be retrieved.

I tried to import a very simple sketch as a part file. It was a rectangle with rounded corners. There were no unclosed loops and it was shaded inside, signifying closed loops. I saved it and opened a new part file. I selected Extrude, chose my plane, and then tried to load in the sketch via "File System." The sketch would load in, let me position and size it, and then when I clicked the check mark it would disappear. What is going on?

Hello,we are a group of students from Germany who need Help. Since 2 weeks we are not able to start creo parametric 3.0 M110 in Windows 10. The Start-Window of creo appears, we click on "Open" or "New" and then creo freezes and some secends after that a Windows Blue Screen appears with the code: Unexpected_Kernel_endI have already tried:-reinstalling creo-disabling all antivirus and firewall software-performing windows update -added all to exceptions in antivirus Thank You for Your Help.

Hi All, I have a variable x that can be calculated by a function. I also have an array to determine the practical numbers that can be used in this variable. I want to use lookup information to find the closest information from the array based on the calculation results. However, it seems like the guides in PTC Mathcad Help cannot really solve my problem. Hi All, I have a variable with selection menu in the middle of a worksheet. Ideally, the default initial selected value should come from the calculation of a previously calculated number (which depends on the previous calculation).Would anyone teach me how can I add a button or do some operation to set up the initialization of the selection table? Hi Guys,I have one hing that bugs me. When I am viewing a master containing pre.configured menu, after I press some Menu Item all I can see is just a blank page. MashupName parameter is not attached to URL.When I am viewing some mashup which uses this Master layout, navigation works fine.Idea is to use Master as "Home mashup" for each user not the mashup it self. I though that that is why there is a "default" in menu item configuration.I am on 7.3.4Any ideas?Tomas

When I got Prime 4 I also bought one of the worksheet add-ons, but cannot find a way to access them within the program other than directly opening the document like I would a file I'm working on. Is there ebook functionality to the use of worksheets like there is in MC 15 where they are part of the help system and may be viewed alongside your working document in a separate window? Or capability close to this? If not, what is the intended approach for their use? (I'm use to MC v14 handbooks and quicksheets and wondering if that functionality is reproduced in any fashion in Prime 4).TIADavid

Hi all,The company i work for uses mapped drives for all of our CAD files (no PDM suite).  To be honest, it's a mess.  I need to know if there is a "smart" way to locate a part, aside from going into microsoft explorer and searching.  For example, If I open a drawing, open the top assembly and then open the part... Is there any information in the part that would tell me where it's being pulled from?I backed up assembly drawings from our Released CAD folder to my local drive for an ECR and now I'm ready to upload. Only problem is that I am having trouble locating exactly where the affected parts that were in the drawing that I backed up are located.Thanks!

Hey guys,How can I select all item in the list by default? Now this is what I have so far, but as you see, the selected rows in the list doesn't show anything. But then, if I change the selection, the grid is populated with the new selected item. So basically, I can select every rows by default, but the it appears like the selected rows is null. And I would need the selected rows to be All instead at default.

HiI spent some time to figure out what is this as I am new to this product. Will "PTC Text Creation A&D Package" be enough? The installation guide shows steps to link to an Oracle database. So is this a full package containing Arbortext Editor and CSDB capabilities?Or need  additionally PTC Windchill Service Information Manager - S1000D Module also to be deployed?Thanks for your valuable replies. - Ravi

Hi!I have a solving problem with the numerical solver.As you can see in the sketch, i have a heavy tube which is held with two steel-strings. The fixing point of the tube is not in the middle.Now I'm searching for the forces, angles, and the length change of the strings accounting the hooke's Law, the geometrical relations and static equilibrium.So far, so good.When changing the guess-values of the angles i get different results, what should not be.What is going wrong here?Any help is appreciated.Thank you, best regards, VolkerI'm working with MP4.

Hello,I have a udf that I defined as standalone, with reference part included. Normally I update my reference part, modify my udf, add then remove all features (to ensure it updates properly), then store the udf by closing the window. If found that when intending to delete features, they must first be removed from the udf, then deleted in the reference part, then update the udf.My current issue is simply that after adding an annotation feature to the reference part (name_gp.prt) and then adding it to the udf, upon trying to update the udf again it says "reference part not stored for this group" and it won't let me define/update the udf features anymore.Some questions I have with udfs in general are1) Under what coniditions have people found that the "link" to the reference part gets broken and how to work around that.2) Is there any instructions as to the correct procedure to follow in updating a udf?3) Are there specific features other than the couple mentioned in the proe help file t
