Hi everyone,someone knows how can I break dependency of locations for a cabling? I have a harness that all locations have dependencies of some parts and I would need to break all dependencies. Actually I am creating a new location by side each one and removing the old ones but I hope there is some easier and fast way to remove dependency.Thanks all!

Hello,Is there some simple solution for modifying the service implementation programmatically? I could create an empty service using AddServiceDefinition, but now I'm stuck with filling it.I tried to do something like Export to XML > Modify XML > Import from XML, and the first two steps work fine, but for some reason I couldn't import the XML. Apparently the Importer servlet works differently from the regular TWX REST interfaces, and I can't figure out how to use it.Is there any better way to do it, or maybe some example? Hello,I have a top assembly that is crashing Creo every time I open it.I highly suspect that the cause of this crash is due to parts assembled with a reference pattern. This has happened a couple of times before and I'm getting used to recognizing it. I can open all the subassemblies and parts without any crash. I can also roll back to a previous iteration of my top assembly it opens fine.The problem now is that I lose a considerable amount of info because I have to roll back pretty far.Here is where I'm asking for your help. Is there a way where I can edit the top assembly and remove the reference patterns without opening it in Creo?I was thinking about editing the source code of the top assembly, but I don't how to get a program to decipher the .asm files. I've tried opening the file with a fresh install of Notepad++ and the body of the file is nonsense.Thanks

Hi All, I have a 4th order equation for an unknown parameter. The equation includes some constants whose number depends on the external setting. The parameter must be a positive real number. In the attachment, I listed two possible symbolic solutions k2_1 and k2_2. How can I set the if else condition correctly to achieve the following requirement?(1) if both k2_1 and k2_2 are real and positive, show both of them as the solution of k2(2) if only one of k2_1 and k2_2 is real and positive show this real number(3) if neither k2_1 or k2_2 can satisfy the positive real condition, show an error messageThank you!

I am looking for a way to compute for number of days between states in a workflow.  What would be the simplest option to take.  Also, it would be best if the resulting table can be downloaded to an excel spreadsheet so I can manipulate the data in various ways.The object is to determine how long a specific state took to complete.Hoping to get an answer soon.PS.  I am not a developer or technical person.  I am more into project management.  But if this requires a specific technical approach I can have my developer look at it and try it out.

Hi All,I am trying to get a skewed bell curve to represent a chemical in a reaction via an equation. This first bell curve will be subtracted from another skewed bell curve that represents a second chemical in the reaction. I have tried many equation types and have settled on the one that I am currently using. The trouble is that I cannot manipulate the equation variables enough to attain the configuration that is needed. Would you all inspect my equation and advise me on whether it can be edited to fit the Benchmark dots on the graph. Maybe another variable can be inserted into the equation? If, not, can you recommend a new equation? The curve slopes are not as critically important as the start, finish, and peak positions and values.As of now, the starting(blue) and finishing(cyan) points are good. wildfire 5.0, M040, student edition, recently started having a slow erase of a highlighted feature.  The feature would highlight when the cursor moved across and no other work could be done until the highlighted lines were slowly erased from bottom of screen to top. This makes the product somewhat unusable due to the slow response. I'm running windows 10 and this seemed to start after a win 10 update. I found an earlier report of this or a similar problem that was fixed but I can't find the solution. Any help?

Hi Everyone,I have been doing some testing on Creo 4.0 M010 this week, and really find that the Extrude to Surface, then Offset to be a very nice functionality that has been added (great job PTC).  We design many extruded parts that are typically extruded to a common plane, then depending on the usage, can have material added past that plane, or have material removed from that datum plane, and this is EXACTLY what we needed to accomplish this without using end cuts or having to use a Blind dimension instead of using the datum plane reference.  Again, for extruded parts, this is incredible.That said, we have many of our products designed in SheetMetal, and at times, we replace extruded parts with formed SheetMetal parts, and design similarly.  So after I had seen this functionality within Solid Part mode, I also wanted to see whether this worked in SheetMetal mode.  The basic end extrude is the same setup as solid mode, and if you are extruding a surface, this acts t
